They were prompt, professional, and didn't waste any time, yet were very pleasant and friendly to work with. they were thoughtful about my various requirements, which were all a little different depending on the room and window in question. They alson considered my options if I were keeping the house for myself, or renting it out, which I mentioned would be an option. I appreciated that they provided me a quote while there were on site still, and followed up right after with an email version. They helped with color choices too. The product arrived in about 3 weeks time, and they did the full installation. It all went great, and the windows look really good now. I'd definitely use them again.

Bill and Linda returned my phone call quickly and we set-up a time for them to come by to measure and give me some ideas for blinds in my kitchen. When they arrived, they were friendly and easy to communicate with. Bill measured and Linda showed me sample of blinds. They both explained to me that in my case the faux wood blinds would be best, and after comparing the samples I agreed with them. They gave me several options as far price was concerned and I made my decision without any hesitation. All of my quesions and concerns were addressed; it is obvious that they know the business inside and out. Our blinds arrived as scheduled and Bill installed them quickly and precisely. They are both a pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier with our blinds and the way that they do business.

Bill contacted me quickly after I left a message regarding wanting to get new window treatments. He and Linda were terrific from start to finish! They seem to truly enjoy their work, have fun doing it, and are very professional and friendly. It is so nice to deal only with them from measuring, ordering, to installation. It is wonderful to be able to actually see how samples look next to the windows. Linda was great about holding up the samples so I could see how they looked and also when I asked for her opinion. I ordered the blinds shortly before Christmas and was amazed that they were installed on January 3! I didn't really expect the shades to be installed until toward the end of January due to the holidays and the fact that Bill told me Hunter Douglas closes down during the Christmas holiday. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to get the shades so quickly, especially since we had been living for quite some time with shower curtain liners as window treatments! I plan to call them again to get a shade for our front door when we have that replaced. My husband relied on my judgment to order the shades, and he is very happy with them, also. We are VERY happy we got a room darkening shade for our bedroom. It is awesome! I would highly recommend using Image Custom Blinds for any window treatment needs. Plus, I was very happy to give my business to a local company!

Bill did a great job and we were very satisfied. Price was reasonable. We discussed the quality of various window treatments, how they would be used, etc. The Silhouettes turned out great. We used the larger size Bill recommended and he was right. The view to the back yard is great and the sheer element of the design keeps out harsh sunlight. Shutter installation was very good. Bill took the time to discuss various installation options. His expertise proved right again and guided us to the correct framed installation, shutter style, and size.

My brother was doing a complete remodel of his townhome and spent ALOT of time researching to find someone to help his with his window treatments. Bill and Linda were just awesome. Their bid was the best. They were prompt in returning my calls (even when they were on vacation). They were very flexible when it came to my schedule. They did a great install on the product. We really love our shutters. If we didn't have them this summer we would have melted in our south facing great room.

Last year we had Bill and Linda from Image Custom Blinds install window treatments in just about all of our windows in our new home. Their prices were half of what the other six companies I contacted were. I had read really good reviews about them on Angie's list and decided to have them do the work. I was very pleased to say the least. They were a pleasure to work with and I really enjoyed having them in my home. They are very courteous, neat, reliable and prompt. They both have a great knowledge of the Hunter Douglas products they install since they have been working with the company since the 1970's. Both have good taste in picking out window treatments in different rooms which can be overwhelming in a house our size. They let you know if there are any rebates on the products and make it easy for you to send them in. We had one window over the front door that we did not want a window treatment on because of the view of the chandelier. Unfortunately this summer was so hot and the heat really came in through that window all afternoon. We decided we could save energy and money if we put up a window treatment on that window. We ordered a Roman shade with a remote control. Bill did a beautiful job of installing it today. When the shade is up you cannot even tell from the outside that it is there. I referred them to a friend last year that hired them. She too was so pleased she referred them to her relative who also was very happy. I have had Hunter Douglas in the past and they are an extremely good quality. Well built and dependable!

Bill and Linda were very professional. The blinds were just what I wanted, and I opted for remote control of the window blinds because my windows are stacked two rows high in my front room. Bill had already decided how to install the blinds when he took the measurements. He brought various ladders which allowed him to install the blinds with minimal moving of my belongings. This was a real blessing as the area in front of my windows has accumulated a lot of "stuff" over the years which would have been difficult to move out of the way. The install was perfect. The windows and patio door can now be covered, and my home is insulated from outside heat or cold. I have already noticed a change in my electric bill. Bill also took care of sending one of my old blinds from another window to Hunter Douglas to be restrung. Bill and Linda are AAA+++ in value and service from my point of view. Update - 11/2/12: Since I have been late with this review, I thought I would add some information. The blinds are performing beautifully, and because they were measured and installed properly, there are no problems with them sticking or ballooning. Bill told me that he would change all the batteries during a service call when needed. This is important for me because I can't climb a ladder to reach the top blinds. I certainly will be contacting them again.

Bill and Linda are fantastic, and I wish there were a rating higher than an A!!! They were friendly and professional every step of the way. They came to our home within a day of our calling them, and they gave us great suggestions while they very quickly measured the windows. They suggested that we go with sizes that would be best for the room and for our budget. We got a second estimate (also from Angie's List), and they couldn't come close to the price that Bill and Linda offered us. We immediately ordered the blinds from Bill and Linda. The blinds arrived in just under two weeks, and they were able to come install them right away. They look GORGEOUS! It took them no time at all to install them, and they were just as friendly and professional when they came back. It was an absolute pleasure to work with this delightful couple, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and to use them again ourselves. So glad we found them here on the List!

very well. they were professional. it took a bit of time for the curtains to be custom made but it was worth the wait. They to ask for a full payment at the beginning. they also left all the curtain boxes for us to dispose of. would use them again.

Bill and Linda installed Hunter Douglass plantation shutters on the main floor of my home. We recently bought a new construction home & needed blinds for nearly every room. We called Image based on the reviews here on Angie's List. From the time we made our first phone call to the time our blinds were installed was about 35 days. That was with us taking over a week to figure out if we had the finances to go forward with the entire project, or do it in stages, before we actually ordered. Bill & Linda were awesome. They are very professional, but at the same time personable. There was absolutely zero pressure to buy anything. They returned phone calls promptly and were extremely knowledgeable. I cannot think of a single thing that would need the slightest bit of improvement. If you are looking for Hunter Douglass blinds, definitely call them.

If you have ever ordered anything from a store that needed to be installed you know that 3 or 4 people will handle your order before you get your product. During this process mistakes are made and time is lost and you spend alot of time on the phone trying to straighten things out. The best part about doing business with IMAGE CUSTOM DRAPERY & BLINDS is that the owners, Bill & Linda, handle everything. They come to your home to show samples and explain the products (Hunter Douglas), they do the measuring, they do the ordering , they do the installation, and they handle the service. I believe that our order was placed with the factory before they even left our house. One of our duette shades came from the factory with a small yellow spot on one of the pleats that was discovered after the installation. I called them immmediately, they ordered another, and I received the replacement in less than 10 days. But best of all, not only were they the best price for Hunter Douglas products, their price was better than private label products from 3 Day Blinds and Eddie Z's. I would not hesitate to recommend to them to friends and family and would definitely do business with them again.

I called Image Custom Blinds after reading their reviews here on Angie's List. They responded the next day and we setup an appointment for choosing the shades and measuring my windows. The appointment was 1 or 2 days after I called them. They were very fast and convenient. I had called another vendor but they could not arrange an appointment for a couple weeks. Needless to say they did not get my business. Bill and Linda were very helpful in choosing the shades and they were very professional and friendly while working with them. They provided me a proposal for the shades which included the current rebates I would get and the tax credits I would be eligible for. I made my order a few days later and the shades came in a couple weeks later. The day the shades arrived Bill called me and we arranged an installation date. It was within a couple days of him calling. Bill and Linda came by and installed the shades. It was pretty quick and we had no issues with fit (accurate measuring prevented any issues). Overall Image Custom Blinds were great to work with and are very professional and friendly. I have already recommended them to another neighbor.

Great experience from start to finish! I had gotten an estimate for window treatments from another company based on a recommendation from a friend That company didn't really seem interested in my business, couldn't provide much information and gave me a ridiculously high quote. So I took to Angie's List to find some other companies. I found Image Custom Blinds and I am glad I did. Bill and Linda were great to work with. They brought samples for me to look at, discussed installation and cord options and provided me a quote on the spot. The quote was at least 40% lower than the others. Once I placed my order (you have to pay total cost up front) my blinds were installed within about 2 weeks. Bill and Linda do all the installation as well. That was a really quick process - only 2 hours. One shutter panel was damaged but I had them put it up anyway. They ordered a replacement and came back to install it in about 2 weeks. I also got a rebate and information about a $500 tax credit. Bill and Linda provided all the info I needed to make sure I could take advantage of those options as well. I can't say enough about this company. They really know the value of customer service. I have a few more windows to cover and will be working with them again for sure. I love my window treatments. Everything looks great. I could go on and on - call them for a quote, you'll be glad you did.

I called Image Custom Blinds after reading good reviews on Angie's List. Bill and Linda came to my house on 11/21/11. They were on time and incredibly professional. They have a very good knowledge of blinds, shutters, etc. They made several suggestions and explained everything. They are honestly two of the nicest people I have ever worked with. It is obvious from the initial phone call that they take great pride in their work. They said the blinds would be ready in two weeks. Bill called exactly two weeks to the day that I ordered the shutters. We set up installation two days later. They were on time and the shutters were installed in under an hour. They are GORGEOUS! I cannot believe how dramatically they change the look of my bathroom! Bill and Linda are an absolute delight to work with. I will definitely use them in the near future for my bedroom windows. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

After viewing the positive reports on Angie's List I contacted Bill & Linda regarding plantation shutters for the master bedroom in our new house. They were able to come out the same day to give me an estimate. I later decided I wanted to get wood blinds instead and they came out again right away with samples and gave me a new estimate. Since the price was so reasonable I was able to also get blinds for the living room windows. Throughout the entire process BIll and Linda were extremely prompt, professional and friendly. They offered advice on different window treatments but were not at all pushy. It was also great to have them install the blinds - they look great. I will definitely call them for any future window treatments needed.

It was a positive experience overall. They were very responsive, and scheduled an appointment with us right away. We already knew we wanted to install shutters, so there wasn't a whole lot of consultation needed. They brought some samples, and provided a quote immediately. We placed the order, and they installed the shutters about 2 weeks later. The only issue was that one of the shutter doors came with the hinges on the wrong side (which was their supplier's error, not theirs!). So they ordered a replacement, and in the meantime, Bill switched the hinges (which left some holes that he filled) and installed the shutter as a temporary measure so that we wouldn't be without a window covering while we were waiting for the replacement, which was nice. The shutters look great! Since our windows were too shallow to install the shutters on the existing frames, they mounted new frames around the windows for the shutters. I was a little nervous that the frames might stick out too much, but that was not the case - they really look great! Overall, they were very pleasant to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It was a pleasure to work with Bill and Linda! I got quotes from about eight other companies that my friends were referring. They were the least expensive out of all the estimates I got. I really did save alot of money with them. They are great to work with. Always professional, courteous and reliable. Have received compliments on my window treatments and one friend is having her windows done with them after shopping around elsewhere. I also have two more people that want to use them. They only carry Hunter Douglas which I have used in the past and they are very good quality. You won't be disappointed with them and I know you will save time and money in the long run.

This was a painless process! Bill & Linda had been to our home earlier in the year to give us quotes on several windows that we wanted to install plantation shutters. It was several months before we were able to get back to them to place an order. Bill still had our original quotes and measurements. We paid upfront and in roughly 3 weeks they were at our home and installed. They are beautiful and Bill and Linda were wonderful to "work" with! (Honestly, they did all the work!) I would not hesitate to use their company again.

Image Custom Blinds arrived on time for the 6/6/11 appointment. They provided me with options, measured the 5 windows and provided me with the price. I placed an order the same day. Their quote was far less than I was expecting for faux wood blinds for my very large windows. I received a call on June 17th letting me know that my window treatments had arrived and they could come out to install. I received the call around 6:00 PM and they arrived about 6:45 PM for the installation. The installation took approximately 45 minutes. The entire process was handled in a professional manner. I will recommend Image Custom Blinds to neighbors and friends. It was great working with them.

Bill and Linda came to our house to provide quotes for shutters on a small arched window and a regular window, as well as cellular blinds for a bathroom. After obtaining competitive bids, we decided to proceed with the shutters, but installed the cellular blinds ourselves. The shutters were custom made so they took about six weeks to deliver. I had to provide the full cost of the shutters up front (which made me a little nervous). On the day of installation, they were an hour late due to traffic. The shutters were quickly installed and look beautiful. They are good quality shutters and look better than I imaged. I would definitely use Image Blinds again if I had another shutter project.

Installation was efficient. Bill made sure that the blinds (motorized) worked properly and that I understood how to operate the remote. I would use them again.
