Description of Work: G-Cat replaced the curb, sidewalk (90 ft), two car driveway, and front porch that runs the width of the first floor. They added new walkways along the driveway, a new approach, and used colored and stamped concrete on the walkways and porch. They are knowledgeable, professional, well organized, cooperative and very industrious. The results are excellent, and we receive many compliments from neighbors. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I contracted G-Cat to remove and replace the driveway and front stairs to my home. Vito really seemed to know his stuff and put my wife and me at ease when he first came out to see the project. I was most concerned with my front stairs coming out properly after seeing what some of my neighbors had gone through with having theirs replaced. When it came time to get the job started, Vito was hands on with his crew and even took time to knock off mortar and stack bricks that I wanted to keep from a planter that was also being torn down. They quickly took out the old and set up for the next day's pour. They poured the stairs first and came back the next day to do the drive. After the stairs had cured long enough to be able to use, I noticed that the treads seemed to slant forward as I walked down the stairs. On top of that, the platform in front of the front door looked like it was sloping to one side. I contacted Vito with my concerns and he assured me that he would take care of the problem. The next day, he had a crew taking out the stairs by hand, they were able to use a Bobcat the first day because they could drive on the driveway. The new stairs came out beautifully, I just wish it was done right the first time. Vito and his crew were very professional and friendly.

Description of Work: REMOVED AND REPLACED A CEMENT PATIO AND FRONT WALK

Description of Work: We signed the contract and sent in a deposit for work to be done this coming June (2013). We interviewed 6 concrete companies to pour a stamped concrete patio, 3-step back stoop and sidewalk from the patio to the front of the house. G-Cat's cost fell somewhere in the high middle range, but we already know it will be worth it! He looked at the job site, at our drawings and then sat with us in the kitchen for at least an hour discussing our ideas and how it would be done. We had one company come out whose owner spent 15 minutes with us and that included sitting in his truck to write the proposal! Vito, the owner of G-Cat, gave us a long list of references. We visited two of them in our area and both gave him rave reviews, plus we liked the work that had been done for them. We happened to stop at a building materials company to look at stamped concrete samples and we asked if they knew anything about G-Cat. The salesperson described Vito as "anal" and, for the kind of money we're spending, that's exactly what we wanted to hear! We will give an update upon completion of the project.
