He offered excellent design solutions to our challenges for the space and gave us a pantry that is fully functional. The construction team was thorough and complete in building out the design plan and meeting our full expectations. The final result is a beautiful working pantry we are proud to come home to.
Description of Work: We took a standard closet space and converted it to a walk-in working pantry with multiple shelves for storage, two counter-top spaces to utilize as a bar, and several pull-out wine racks.

 + -1 moreBefore I purchased the Big Deal, I contacted the company to ask a few questions. Typical for me - I always have questions before I make my decision! Kim answered everything. Once I purchased, Kim contacted me quickly to get the ball rolling. She e-mailed me the name of the desinger. Tom came out on a Saturday, which worked best for me. He took lots of measurements and asked me questions to determine my needs. He also provided me with a brochure showing the finishes, hardware and accessories available. Tom had samples of some of the finishes, too. He drew a detailed plan for the closet, and we discussed the measurements and rationale for the design. He also made modifications based on my questions and comments. His suggestions were very helpful. We discussed an installation date for 2 weeks later, and in a few days I had a confirmation for my preferred date and time (also a Saturday), and the name of my installer. John came on time and did a great job. He laid down furniture pads to protect my carpet, was very neat and meticulous, and cleaned up everything. He also hauled away my old closet materials. I am very satisfied with my new closet design and materials. I would definitely hire Closet Organizing Systems again.

 + -1 moreWe just love the results. I now have a jewelry drawer, shelves for my handbags, a 24 pair shoe component, tie rack and belt rack for my husband and hanging space adequate for both his and my clothes. It is so functional and beautiful. I only wish I had done this years ago.
Description of Work: Within about three weeks we went from design and quote by a professional designer, to installation of our master bedroom closet by a professional installer. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to improve the look and space of their closet. We shopped the big box stores for components, which we would need to measure, order and install ourselves and it just doesn't compare with the service and quality of Closet Organizing Systems.

 + 2 moreEverything went very well. The designer Tom took my vision and drew it on paper exactly as I had pictured. He added in some extra perks like a wrapping paper station. The cabinets arrived quickly, within about two weeks, and the installers were efficient and friendly. the quality of the cabinets is excellent. They are easy to clean, which is important for a mudroom. Everyone from the company has been super helpful and friendly and we are so glad we chose to work with them!
Description of Work: We turned our laundry room and a spare room into a multi purpose room. We knocked down the wall between the two rooms and now use it for a laundry room, mud room, office and craft room.

My designer Donna was very knowledgable and helpful and really listend to my needs. I was able to get the closet I wanted within my price range. She was very responsive and made several modificaton to my design, as I requested. The cabinets are really good quality. I would definetly used them again in the future.

Description of Work: Closet Organizing Systems designed, and installed the interior for a newly remodeled master bedroom closet. The closet designer visited the home prior to our remodel construction. She surveyed the area that would become the closet, measured and received inputs on our closet needs. Within a week we had a detail layout (including overview drawing and detail drawings for each wall) and pricing. At this time I was still getting quotes from others. Closet Organizing Systems quote coupled with special % off offered in local monthly magazine of discounts made their offer very reasonable (one of the least expensive) and their material quality was the best. They also paid the most attention to detail and were the most professional. After the above process we made some minor adjustments to the drawing. When we were undergoing the construction (moving walls) they came out again to remeasure and to help us best locate where the outlets and venting should be installed to complement the closet. With final measurements of the new space we authorized them to begin building the closet units. It took them several weeks to build the closet units. We scheduled the install 2 weeks in advance and in less than two days the closet was installed with no issues. The installers took great care in not to damage anything during installation. The closet was clean and ready to use when they left. We are extremely happy with the results.

 + 0 moreWe were remodeling a bedroom and needed a wall of custom closets built in. I called and made an appointment with a designer. Donna was excellent. She took exact measurements and closely reviewed what needed to be placed in the space. She took her time and was in contact with me when she had questions. She also brought many samples of finishes to choose from. I choose the Chocolate Peartree and had them add glass knobs. The installers kept a clean work site and were very conscious about the hardwood floors. When finished, they noted that 2 of the doors had a defect.They called it in and within 2 weeks the new doors were installed. They look fabulous! And the fun part was organizing the insides! I would definitely recommend and use this company for any future needs.

 + 0 moreOverall the process went pretty smoothly. Our original walk-through took awhile as we have multiple closets and there was chaos with construction in the house. The sales person was good about following up with us at each step of the process, especially in the beginning when we were slow to make a decision about which company to work with given different designs and pricing. He kept checking in with us. Once we settled on working with COS, salesperson (Tom) was immediately available to revise designs to our satisfaction. We didn't have to wait days for an appointment; he was good about keeping a tight schedule and working within our needs. The closets were installed without a hitch. We have not moved into the house yet, so I can't report on whether what Tom evaluated as our needs will be actually met by what was installed (in other words, do all of our clothes fit in the new closets?). But the closets look good.
Description of Work: Sales person designed closet systems for master bedroom, two kids' bedrooms, guest bedroom, hall closet and pantry. All of these rooms/closets were meticulously measured, hand drawn designs were submitted to client along with pricing for any "extras". Revisions were made after review by owners and further discussion. Once design was established, finishes were selected. Within a couple of weeks closets were ready for installation. The installers took approximately 2 1/2 days to install all the closets.

 + 1 moreThe new cabinets are solidly constructed, and the custom doors and stain blend in well with the existing cabinets (they borrowed a cabinet door to match the style and color). The trim and panels added around the new cabinets make it so you can't tell they were not part of the original kitchen, and they provide a lot of useful extra storage. Oscar did a great job installing. We had a problem with one of the touch latches, and he came out and replaced it. The custom cabinets fit the space perfectly and we are very pleased with how the project turned out. It looks like wood paneling, but is actually three spacious cabinets that provide lots of useable space. We also got an estimate for a closet from Closet OS. Overall, we thought the cabinet project, which had 6 custom wood doors, was worth it and we would recommend to anyone considering a similar project.
Description of Work: We had custom cabinets created to match the existing cherry raised panel cabinetry in our kitchen. The three new cabinets fit under the breakfast bar in our recently purchased house.

 + 0 moreDonna arrived during the chaos of having the downstairs painted. She went to work immediately and discussed my options and gave me an estimate of the cost. I called her with a request to change the pantry design and she accommodated my request right away. Once I faxed the contract, the system was ready within a month and the installation was scheduled. While the installers were putting in the pantry, when they removed the bottom trim in the closet, they discovered that a nail had pierced a water pipe which ran through the closet. They immediately shut off the main water valve and showed me the problem. They couldn't continue until the leak was resolved. However, once I contacted COS when the water leak was fixed, they rescheduled the installation right away. The pantry and broom closet have been fantastic additions to the kitchen and have allowed me to be more organized than ever before. Everyone at Closet Organizing Systems is professional, responsive and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.

 + 1 moreI was absolutely great. The person I worked with was the designer, Donna Sieben. I met with her probably three times. Every time she was on time, brought samples, was very thorough and accurate. The installers came twice. Once was nearly a full day and then they came back a second time for some touch ups. I had a metal filing cabinet in that room and had asked them to move it to the basement. Somehow the message was confused and they disposed of it. When I called the designer, they looked in the warehouse and could not find it. They came back and built a new filing cabinet in the basement out of the same material as the upstairs unit.
Description of Work: I had an entire wall of closets with a built in window bench in between them, built in desk and filing system installed. The desk also has lighting as well.
