Description of Work: I had a new garage door and garage door opener installed by Matt and David. Matt is the owner of A Absolute Garage Door Co. I can't say enough good things about this company, Matt, David and Deanna the office manager. They were so professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to clear and move around some things from the garage so that they could do the installation. I have had plenty of bad experiences with service companies and don't usually take the time to review them whether they are good or bad, but I want to highly recommend this company to anyone who needs service on their garage door. I am extremely pleased with my new garage door and opener and feel the cost was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Very poor customer service. They should have at least called me to say they were going to miss their appointment. They called me an hour after my appointment to let me know they screwed up the dates.

Description of Work: I was trying to leave my home and my garage door opener was not working. I called A Absolute Garage Door Company, even though they closed at 6pm they still came out at 5:30. They were very pleasant on the phone. They sent someone out to replace the opener. They also pointed out that my bearings were being to degrade. The people I dealt with were super. They were really great with explaining everything. I can really see why they are a super service award winner. I would highly recommend them!

Description of Work: First Christopher tried to talk me through fixing the garage door. I had hit it on my way out of the garage. When he wasn't able to help me (for free) over the phone, he sent out a technician. David arrived the same day even though I called late in the day! He was so nice and found out that our cables were dangerously worn out. David knew how upset I was about hitting the door it he made me feel better when he showed me the cables and how dangerous the garage door was. He worked quickly and did not charge extra to fix one extra thing. David was super professional, and very kind.

Description of Work: This was our first experience with Angie's List and we were very pleased. Our detached garage door had been working intermittenly and then just quit. The owner of A Absolute Garage came out promptly and diagnosed the issue quickly. He was down-to-earth, professional, and very informative. We ended up needing a new garage door opener since the original opener was a basic unit that never consistently performed well and should never have been installed for our very heavy door. We chose the more powerful unit he recommended. He also diagnosed an electrical problem in the garage that we had suspected for awhile. Before leaving, he lubricated everything and explained how the new system worked. We would not hesitate to call A Absolute Garage again and would recommend them to anyone.
