Due to someone calling off...Matt arrived later than the window provided....5:40 rather than 3-5pm. However, this delay was unanticipated and due to one of his workers calling off that day which I understand. The 40 minute delay was well worth it. Matt was very polite and apologetic and did a great job of installing the unit and doing a tune up on my existing doors. He coded my car to the new opener and was out in about an hour. He did a great job!

We love how quiet these belt driven system is as our bedroom is above the garage. What a big difference. Matt also tuned up our garage doors and greased them too.

Matt ( who is also the owner) of Absolute garage doors came arrived at my home when expected. Originally, he did try to see if he could repair my 15 year old garage door opener, but after replacing a sprocket, unfortunately the electronics ( the main board) would not work or get the signal for the remote. I expected I would need a whole new opener, but Matt did try to see if the repair route would work first. After spending nearly an hour on the repair he informed me of the problem and we then went for the new opener. He did not charge me anything extra for the time he spent trying to do the repair. He then replaced the spring for that door and he replaced the 2 springs and did a general inspection and tune up on my larger door. He also informed me that the springs I had on that door were the wrong size. He was very proffessional and took the time to make sure I understood everything he did and that everything was working and done to my full satisfaction. Not that I hope to need any further garage repairs in the near future, but I would use Matt and Absolute Garage Door co. again, and I will recomend them to my friends and neighbors. Also, I looked up my bill for the larger door opener that I had replaced in 2012. It is also a 1/2 HP Lift Master ( but it has 2 lights instead of 1) I paid over 2x as much to have that one installed from a different vendor. Matt told me what the price would be and I felt his price was very fair for the opener and the springs since I have had all these sevices done on my garage in the past. Very well, Matt was very patient and fair in his evaluation of what was needed for the long term to make this garage door functional for a long time time to come. I will call Matt for all my future needs without a doubt, but think I will see him sooner than later, he left his vise grips in the garage : )

I discovered a broken spring early one morning and began calling around for pricing estimates. I spoke to several different companies including A Absolute Garage Door and then researched the companies online. I was about to schedule with another company I've used previously when Matt called back and convinced me I should have him come out and do the work. I couldn't be happier I chose A Absolute. Matt was thorough, professional and answered all my questions. He came out the same day and was right on time. I chose the same springs I originally had(225x225) but after discussing it with Matt upgraded to a much better spring(250x250) with a better warranty. When comparing the 2 types of springs you could clearly tell this was a better spring, heavier and longer. Even with the upgrade the price was the best of the bunch. Matt also inspected all other aspects of the door and confirmed nothing else was out of the ordinary. No trying to upsell the rollers, which every other company I've had out tries to do. Finally Matt and I discussed the periodic maintenance I should be doing to keep things running smooth. Unfortunately I've dealt with other garage door companies that I wouldn't have back again. I will definitely stick with A Absolute from now on.

I purchased the Big Deal over the weekend. The provide contacted me soon after and offered multiple dates that he'd be available for the install. During our correspondence for the install setup I inquired about have him take a look at the other door. The opener itself seemed to be in good shape, however the door itself was very noisy. The price he quoted to tune that door was very reasonable so I requested that be done as well. He arrived at the very end of the two hour window they gave, but he wasn't late. After he arrived we briefly discussed what I wanted done and he immediately got to work. I was happy that there were no surprise charges associated with the Big Deal. There was an additional fee because the garage was 8' instead of the standard 7' door, but that charge was very clearly listed in the big deal information and I was aware of it beforehand. When requesting the other door be serviced he said it would be $20, and if any parts were necessary the cost of them would also be included. The $20 price stayed the same, however he did recommend that the spring be replaced as he could hear that much of the noise was coming from the binding of the spring. The price of the part was what I'd expect, and he had the item on hand so it didn't add any additional time to the job. The labor for the install and the tune up of the other door was all included within the price of the big deal. Overall a professional and hassle free transaction. If the need arises I would certainly use them again in the future.

We called the company because we were having problems with our garage door. I spoke with Matt, he was very helpful in answering all of my questions, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. When he came out, he did an inspection, told us what the problems were and gave us a good price on repair. Based on the age of our garage door opener, we opted to replace that as well. He got to work right away and finished quickly. He explained everything to my husband and showed him how to do our own maintenance. He was very honest, friendly, and did a great job. We were very happy with Matt and would not hesitate to call him again and to recommend him to everyone we know!

I purchased the deal for $305 to install a new garage door opener. The appointment time was easy to set up. Matt showed early for the appointment and got right to work. I highly recommend them to everyone. Matt was quick, professional, and honest.

Matt came out, on time, and installed a new garage door opener and replaced the rollers on the door. He was very friendly, easy to talk to, and was able to recommend future maintenance when the time arises. His prices were very reasonable and I will not hesitate to contact him in the future.

Matt arrived an hour early, which was great because I had some errands I wanted to run in the afternoon. He was very professional and got right down to the business of replacing the garage door opener and installing the keypad. The whole job took about an hour, and he cleaned up all materials and took the old opener with him for disposal. I also greatly appreciated him helping me to program the keypad and the button in my vehicle. He was also very good at explaining how everything worked and also lubricating both garage doors. I was very impressed with the service and the quick response.

Prior to choosing this company, I spoke with Matt (the owner) on the phone and asked him several questions around the various garage door opener types, the advantages of each, which type (incl HP) would be necessary for our house, etc. and he gave me straight answers with good explanations without trying to sell me something that I didn't need. He was a good communicator, and he offered a more competitive price over a couple other vendors for the same Liftmaster 3255 1/2HP opener incl labor, so I went with him. Matt called ahead and arrived earlier than scheduled which was great. The last vendor before him was late without calling. After installing the 3 new garage door openers, he walked through some of the features of the new openers, including the main activation switch, the remotes, and the access keypad (after helping me to program it with my PIN). In addition to the installation, he lubricated the garage door rails and wheels/rollers and answered any questions I had about the new openers or questions I had about my garage doors (e.g. how the lock mechanisms work, how the manual release lever works). He explained things thoroughly, and he also was able to give me a fair assessment on the life of other parts of our garage door (wheels, springs, door). His estimates on the life of other parts of the garage door assembly seemed credible, and he was good about telling me how much longer I can go without replacing a part and if I'd replace a part, whether it's a part that I should replace across all 3 doors at once or can do one at a time at diff times and why. He recommended that I replace the garage door wheels sometime within the year while showing me how they were wobbly and how they would further wear over the year. B/c he offered me a seemingly fair price on the 3 sets of wheels without add'l labor charges ($68/set), I decided to replace the wheels, and he replaced them promptly and the doors now are remarkably quieter (granted I have a chain drive opener) when they open/close. In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, Matt also provided me with his own company warranties on the parts (4-yr) and labor (1-yr) as well as on the wheels/rollers (10yrs), so that I can have some add'l assurance in his work and the parts he sold me. He was professional, friendly, and patient; I would definitely go with him again in the future! Thanks, Matt!

Let me say I can see where the mission statement for this company came from. They really do provide the absolute best garage door service I have ever experienced. I had them out because my door would not open. I called at AM and they were at my door by 11 AM the same day and did not charge extra for same day service. Matt was the tech who came out and I was so surprised with how professional he was and his knowledge of all the parts. He saw the broken spring in less then 10 seconds in the garage. ( I had spent about 20 mins in there looking for a way out!) He explained how the parts work together and how some minor parts can sometimes cause major parts to fail. As he was checking over the door he asked me to run my motor, I pressed the button and heard the motor but the chain was not moving. Matt then explained to me this sometimes happens when the spring has been broken for awhile and the parts in the opener go. I was so thankful to hear he had a new opener on him and can do it as soon as he was done with the springs. Although I had to spend more then I originally thought I would have to I am so happy I chose this company and would definitely refer them to anyone who has issues with their garage. A+

Matt showed up on time and inspected the door to make sure everything was working. He replaced the gear and lubricated the door. Explained how to probably maintain my door. Prices were reasonable and the work was professionally done.
