It went very well. The guys worked quickly and were very nice. I can hardly hear the garage door opening. I am on the board of directors iny community and will definitely refer A Absolute to any who need garage door services.

The 2 man crew was right on time and they were very nice and polite. They started working right away and did a very good job. They were creative in their problem solving as they were dealing with 50+ year old doors and 30 year old previous openers. They had to make braces for part of the installation and they found a way to make it secure. My only negative comment is that they didn't clean up after the job, but all I had to do was sweep the garage so no big deal. I would definitely use this company again.

This guy is fantastic! On June 24, 2014 the main spring broke on my big garage door and I couldn't lift the door or get my car out. I had a business card from someone who did some work for me before, but he was far away. I also had a coupon from some outfit I didn't know. So I decided to try angle's list. Sure enough I found AAbsolute Garge Door Co, in Bartlett, right next to me in Elgin. He came out the next day and put in a new spring. While he was there I talked to him about new garage doors. We have 2, one double and one single and they were a mess from the previous owner of the house. Plus they weren't insulated. We had insulation taped inside. Matt gave me a good price for new insulated doors. Including ll the hardware. New rollers, tracks and weatherstripping. New Springs also. Everything new except the openers which are only a few years old. He came out on July 1st and did the work. GREAT JOB. I'm really happy with this company. Got a good warranty and he's going to come back and do adjustments at no cost.

He installed the device in about 1 and a half hours. He said my door needed new rollers because the old ones were rusted and would not run smooth. I said that would be fine. When he was almost done he called me out to the garage to inspect the work but he couldn't get door to go up and down without stopping. I left him to work on it but he could not correct the problem. He ended up calling someone else to help him out a more senior worker with more service time than him. This person got it going in a short time said the other guy just didn't tighten up all the bolts. It works very well i am very happy with it.. This is my first door opener. The workers were very nice and professional.

We purchased a discounted service for maintenance on one garage door through Angie's List for $40.00. Service appointment was scheduled for the afternoon of July 3rd. Matt didn't show up, due to a double booking, we were told. In an e-mail, Deanna was very apologetic and offered us a free set of rollers. She rescheduled our appointment for the morning of Saturday, July 5th. Matt did maintenance on our 2-car garage door, and installed the free rollers as promised. We added maintenance on the 2nd garage door, a 1-car door which is less often used, since my husband were pleased with the company's business ethic, for another $20.00. Our garage doors roll so quietly now...an amazing difference. We would do business with this company again.

Well. Matt was courteous and honest.

They found the doors in good shape but 4 of my rollers needed to be replaced. I didn't have the service done then but I called them after changing my mind and they rescheduled and came out free of charge to replace the rollers. Great service and easy to work with. I'll use them again.

They were awesome to work with. He was the cheapest of the Big Deals for this service and he stayed for quite a while. He mentioned we would need a new door in a few years. He tightened the garage door and he fixed the door. He did a really good job and I would call him when we need a new door. He was on time and he called right before he came.

Scheduling took some time but the company apologized for the delay. The technicians arrived at the scheduled time. Both Matt and Mario JR were very professional. Did the tune up and took the time to evaluate the performance of each component and explain everything very patiently. Didn't push for any extras although they did offer guidance on what parts will need replacement and approximately how soon, just like any professional should. Overall very satisfied.

Excellent. The scheduled arrival time was flexible and they kept within the arrival range. The work was done quickly without drama and with some humor, which I find rare these days. They spent time explaining how this particular opener worked, how to monitor it (it is battery operated) and how to program remotes. They also provided advice and some options for repairing the garage floor directly below the door they did not work on, explained what to look for to predict future problems, and lubricated both doors. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would have them back in the future and recommend them to others.

We knew the garage door needed work, and they quoted two very reasonable solutions in addition to the tune up - new and longer door pins and a new bottom rubber. They acknowledged the door itself was old, but that it had at least a year or several years of wear left, and they could work with us in the future to get a new door when the need arises. They were very professional, explained everything clearly, and I felt completely comfortable with the work they did and that it was the right amount of work for the job (no "extras"). Oh - and the door operates like new, as they promised. We are more than 100% satisfied with the work and will call them in the future.

The technician was courteous, fast, and friendly. He went over all the problem areas with me and advised me on self-maintenance. He lubricated and adjusted the garage door leaving it whisper quiet. I feel like I have a new garage door!

Matt and his helper did an excellent job. I got a next day appointment and they arrived early on the appointed day. All the work was done quickly and when they left I felt satisfied that a good quality job was done at a reasonable price. I will call them the next time I need this type of work

Generally it went very well. They were prompt and explained what they were doing. I have a heater (and at some point an A/C) in the garage, so I had weather stripping inside on the door to prevent ambient air from escaping. They removed the bottom inside strip, but thankfully left the outside hard plastic strip at the bottom of the door to keep critters from chewing on the new soft rubber seal. The door is much quieter now, less jerky motion. I really can't hear it from the inside of the house, just like when it was new. About 15 minutes after they left, I decided to fix a tear in the outside weather strip and then pull the car in -- it's 90 today. I gave the door one or two tests up and down after my repair work, and the door froze on the way down of the final test. No blown fuses, just overheated the motor according to Matt. (I was starting to think I'd need a new opener.) Eventually, it cooled down enough to work just fine. First time that has ever happened in 15+ years with this opener but I guess we gave it a work out in the hot weather. I will have to replace the top inside felt weather strip they shouldn't have removed from the door - I can see daylight when the door is down, and that is not acceptable as I don't want bugs or cold air coming into the garage. Not a big deal, I just wasn't expecting yet another item on my to do list. All in all, I liked them and would definitely consider using them when the time comes for more garage door maintenance and replacement.

They were fabulous. The garage was stuck so we needed the first person that could come out. They've done a great job.

Everything went great, he was on time and finished the job quickly. Our garage door is so much quieter now. He even had the parts on hand so no need for a return visit. We will definitely use again for future service needs.

Arrived on time and highly flexible to our schedule. He came out on Sunday. He did absolutely great work, in a professional way and also helped troubleshoot another door that was making noise. Very nice guy and great experience! Will recommend to family

Matt was great. He explained everything he was doing and gave us tips to keep the garage door running well. He helped me with programming my cars garage door buttons and also moved the garage door handle to the middle of the door so I would be able to open it in case the power ever goes out. Overall great service. Would use them again.

It all went very well; I am very satisfied with Price, Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism. I intend to use this when I replace the wooden garage door with aluminum in several years

Matt called me the day of the service to let me know he was running a little behind. He was professional, gave details about what was done and why as well as making a few recommendations. I will use the service again when the garage door needs to be tuned up or I have other issues. I highly recommend this company and their services.

I scheduled an appointment with Matt to install a new garage door opener (purchased from Sears) on June 19 between 12 and 2pm. Matt called in advance and showed up at 12 as promised. Matt and his colleague Junior started with an inspection of my door and rails, recommended replacement of the rollers (the existing ones were over 10 years old and, since my door gets lots of daily use, were quite warn). I agreed to have him replace the rollers as well. Matt and Junior were very polite, explained exactly what they were doing as they proceeded and explained all the functionality of the door opener (i.e. timers, motion detectors, ongoing maintenance requirements, etc.) including helping me program the keypad entry system. Their explanations were clear concise and spot on. They really know the meaning of customer service. I highly recommend them and will use their service again if I ever need work on my garage door.

Very professional and cordial. It just so happened that my garage door did and motor is an unusual setup that couldn't be applied to the big deal offer.

I was a little skeptical at first, having used contractors that I did not get through a referral and had a negative result or poor workmanship but I was exceedingly surprised when I spoke with Matt. Not only did he complete the work I contracted for but he went above and beyond my expectations. Matt came to my house at the scheduled time and even gave me a call a half before our agreed,upon time to let me know he was on his way. He was willing to accommodate my need to bring my daughter to school which was extremely helpful because mornings are always a big rush in my house. The quality of the door and the installation was superior. Matt is truly a man of his word, professional and goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. I would highly recommend him for any garage door needs.

Matt contacted me almost immediately after I purchased a deal; scheduled a time the same day. Very prompt, courteous and professional. Our old garage door opener had broken down years ago, so we had been opening and closing the door by hand, like the good old days. Matt explained what he was going to do and asked if I wanted new rollers and/or an outdoor key pad, which I did. He worked fast and efficiently, even with a trainee along. Everything turned out beautifully. There was no mess and the opener is great. He explained how everything works, how to keep it in good condition and explained the warranty. Highly recommend, great prices, great service.
