Tech did a great job. Lubricated the moving parts, inspected springs and opener. Also adjusted the opener for proper operation.

I called Matt at about 10:30am on a Saturday, because my garage door opener stopped working. I was pretty sure what was wrong (motor spun, but chain did not move - likely the gears inside the opener), and he said he would be out to my place between 3 and 5pm. I didn't expect same-day service, but he made it by 5pm just as he promised. He confirmed that it was an internal gear that had worn out, and gave me the option of replace the gears, or replacing the entire garage door operator. As the unit was 16 years old, I figured it was time for a replacement. The price wasn't that much higher than the gear replacement, and only took about 45 minutes. I actually hung out with Matt to see the process, and he didn't seem bothered by a curious homeowner watching him work. The process went smoothly, and he even spent a few minutes trying to program the homelink feature of my car. The garage door operator works great, and I'm confident it was installed professionally.

Tune up was performed and minor adjustments were made to ensure the garage door opened and closed properly. Nice job.

Gentlemen called ahead to say he's a bit delayed. Showed up on time. Very thorough, polite. Inspected the door, explained everything he's going to do. Quickly replaced the 2 springs, adjusted the door closing mechanism. Afterwards, walked me through status of each part of the door and gave his take on its state and prospects. Cleaned everything up and delivered a receipt electronically. Great service all around. Happy to do business again.

Joe the workman came on time and was very good at his job. He showed me what had to be replaced and I followed his advice. He was very polite and finished when he said he would. Prices were fair and was given a warranty on the work.

The service went great. The repair person should up when he told me he would. He repaired what was broken and did not try to sell me anything else. In fact he said my garage door looked in good condition for being 15 years old. I will use this company again for all my garage door needs.

Early in the morning, we awoke to a loud noise. We searched the house, but found nothing amiss. It's January, so it couldn't have been Santa. A while later, I realized one of the garage door springs had broken. So we searched Angie's list and selected A Absolute Garage to do the repair. It didn't hurt that the owner's name was Schafer, just like mine, and spelled the same. He came out the same day, assessed the situation, replaced the springs, and figured out why my door was so noisy. I had grown used to it, but agreed it didn't work smoothly. We replaced the end plate bearings and the rollers and now it works like a charm. Opens smooth as silk. He was professional and did not oversell. I would definitely use A Absolute Garage Door again.

They did not do a good job because the cable fell off and they over charged me for poor quality work.

The service turned out pretty good and they did everything they were supposed to. They replaced a circuit board on a garage door and they did a second garage door for me. The overall quality of the service was good. I would purchase from them and I was happy.

We had some responsiveness issues with communications in getting the tune-up scheduled. However, once the service provider Matt arrived at our house, all went exceedingly well. Matt was very professional and proceeded to examine the door before proceeding. We discussed the age of the door and its ancillaries. He indicated that there were several parts that he could offer to replace/upgrade, but with the age and condition of the door, that it probably was not worth the investment. The door will need replacement in a year or two. Once agreed, he proceeded to make adjustments to the door and driver and lubricate moving parts. When complete, the door obviously was moving smoother than when he came. Upon completion, we discussed new door options and he gave me quotes on the spot. Overall I was impressed by the service, the service provider and felt that I got my money's worth.

They assessed my situation with my garage door and determined no work needed to be done. They answered all of my questions. I would definitely reach out to them again in the event of real issues with my garage

This is the company to use for garage door repair...they were great!! They replaced the garage door opener the SAME DAY it broke (sub-zero temps, too). The guy who came out was friendly, fast, so courteous and really helpful explaining some new bells and whistles on the new one. It barely took him 1.5 hours to do it and it's working great. I'd go back to them in a heartbeat!!!

I can't say enough great things about Matt. I have used him in the past year to install a new garage door opener and loved his service then. I called him today to ask about my main door which was not closing properly and was allowing cold air and light to enter along the top. Matt said he happened to be working in Geneva today and would stop over in two hours. He is fantastic!!! He came over and in no time my door opener was fixed and I'm thrilled. I can already tell the garage is warming up. We were freezing since the master bedroom sits right over the garage. I so appreciate his professionalism, his talents and GREAT customer service. I would very highly recommend him to anyone looking for work. You will be very pleased with him.

They were angels from Heaven! Having been told that I would need to replace my garage door for more than $1000 dollars by a competitor and after multiple attempts to fix the door myself, they came, on time, quoted me a very EXTREMELY reasonable price, did the work VERY quickly, told me how to maintain the door until I was able to replace it and it has been working like a CHARM ever since!! The garage door worked so smoothly and quietly, it was as if it was brand new! It worked better than it did when we moved into the house and it went from screeching to whisper quiet!! I would use them again and again and would tell anyone, DON'T USE ANYONE ELSE!! These guys were AMAZING, PERIOD!!!!

He was professional and explained exactly what he was going to do and gave us service tips to keep the door working longer. The tech was friendly and prompt, and waited patiently for my wife to answer the door. He didn't have an extra keypad but he came back the next day and programmed it. I would definitely use this company again. Great value and great service.
