We purchased the $39 garage door tuneup; however, we knew there was a more serious problem with our opener and that it would require more work. We immediately heard from A Absolute Garage Door Company and scheduled a date for them to come to our house. The tech arrived on time and figured out what the problem was. He gave us options: He explained what repairs would be needed to fix the existing opener, or we could purchase a new one. Because our unit was 15 years old and the repairs would have been quite expensive, we decided to get the new one. After he installed everything, he gave us an overview of how it all worked and pointed out the different features. Our tech was professional, knowledgeable and an extremely nice person. We highly recommend this company!

For once, something actually went flawlessly when needing a repair to my home! I emailed the company on Angies List and the very next day they were out to fix my garage door. They had to switch tech's at the last minute since another guy got hung up on a job, but the other guy came right out.(I'm horrible with names, i think it was Matt). He worked very fast and was really friendly and helpful. He fixed the tension spring and suggested (but didn't try to sell me) that i replace the rollers on my door since they were really old metal ones. He replaced with new ones and it's a lot less noisy now when it goes up and down. He even showed me how to lubricate them every 3-4 months to keep them from going bad. Awesome tip!! If you need anything garage door repair, give these guys a call. A++ service and prices were great too.

Tom was very professional and knowledgeable on fixing my garage door. The price was very reasonable too. Best of all Tom is an in-house employee and not a sub contractor which explains why he puts a quality job.

We called on Monday morning he was at our house by noon. He was pleasant to work with very professional and provided a product which was priced appropriately! He replaced everything and hauled all the old parts and door away. We were left with a beautiful new insulated garage door! The entire job was completed within 24 hours of our first contact with them. The door looks great thank you Matt!!!

Bought a garage door opener from A Absolute on an Angie's List Big Deal. Arranged time and date of installation with A Absolute through e-mails on Angie's website. They showed up at the agreed upon time and got the unit installed in just about 4 1/2 hours. Everything works great and Matt the installer explained the operation of everything to us before he left. All work was done cleanly and without problems. Couldn't have been done any better than it was..

They were very professional. From the person I spoke with over the phone to the person who came out, I was very happy with the professionalism. They were able to come out the same day, which really worked out great. It took roughly 1 1/2 hours and everything was left clean and garage door was in working order. I gave them a B for price but honestly I did not price out the work and have to trust that they gave me a fair deal. I am happy with the warranty on the the parts and labor, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Matt was punctual and very professional. He installed the garage door and garage door opener in a few hours. He took the old door away and left everything clean and neat. I appreciated his full explanation of the safety features and his assistance in setting the security features of the door. Matt gave me an estimate yesterday and was able to install the door today. I was thrilled with his service. He also listened well and was able to show me a variety of options to meet my needs. I was glad to have him at my home and would recommend him to others.

My garage door died and I needed a new one. They came out promptly, discussed my alternatives and within twenty-four hours I had a new door. Very professional and did a great job.

The technician that performed the work was Joe. I had met Joe when he replaced my neighbors garage door opener a month ago.. He was personable and my neighbors said he did a great job. I called in the morning and Joe came out that afternoon. He did a great job with the inspection, tune up and roller replacement. He tested the operation of the garage door and the garage door opener separately while I observed. This is the kind of attention to detail I appreciate as a customer. another thing I appreciated was that I asked Joe about the overall condition of my current garage door opener and he said there was no way to say for sure (the current opener is 17 years old) but he thought I would probably be good for a few more seasons. Not the answer I have come to expect from people who make their living selling and installing equipment. I will definitely be calling A Absolute Garage Door in the future if I need any work on my garage door. I have seen advertizements for this sort of work I had done for less but as most people are aware you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get.

The technician was on time, friendly and informative. We would definitely use A Absolute Garage Door Company again.

They came out within a month, and that was because I had pushed it back, not because they couldn't come earlier. I wasn't here when they came. Everything is working well with the garage door.

That was really good. They showed up in the right time and they did all the work that needed to be done and we are satisfied with it. They turn around very quick and they gave me a good service I guess.

They were great, it's not going to work out due to them not being able to service my specific equipment.

Overall the experience was OK. My appointment was for Monday between 1pm-3pm. Around 2:30 I called and left a message as I had not heard from anyone yet. Typically providers will call customers the day of an appointment to confirm the time of arrival. I received a call back to let me know that some would be arriving around 2:45. I then received a second call from the technician who stated he was running late and it would be another 30 minutes. Normally I'm pretty understanding, but I had errands to run and friends coming over for dinner. Having someone show up tot do work after 3pm did not play well into my plans. I essentially wasted 2 hours sitting around waiting when I could've been doing something more productive. I believe the tech was named Joe. Once he arrived he got to work right away. He replaced our spring with no problem and even tried to help me program our exterior keypad (but it was not working at all). When he was done, he showed us his work and showed us some other potential issues that we may need to address in the future. He was very polite. The only other issue came when Joe requested payment for the service. Since I had purchased the deal on Angie's List I was a little confused. I showed Joe the voucher that I had showing the service I purchased. But he had to wait to hear back from his boss to confirm we had paid. The fact that the person doing the service was not aware that the service was already paid for seemed an little unorganized to me. Not sure if I would use them again. Although Joe was very polite and got the job done. The tardiness and lack of communication regarding the payment was a turn off for me. I work 2 jobs, am working on my masters degree, have 2 kids, a husband and a dog! My time is very precious to me, so I appreciate people and companies that are considerate of that.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. They didn't do much, but they did what they were supposed to do. They tried to upsell, and offered a few options. I asked them a few questions. It was worth the price, and they were there on time.

It was generally good. I found one of my garage doors after they serviced a few days later has stopped working again. I'm not sure if they're related. I would probably need to call them back to do another check. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgeable and quick. He did a good job. It was even appreciable that they came out immediately after I made the purchase. It was also a pretty bad weather day. I appreciated that they came out and checked our garage door. It was a pretty good experience.
