Matt was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. He had all parts needed to fix my door on hand, and did not have to waste time going to pick them up anywhere. He fixed my garage door by replacing the torsion spring and cables. good as new, and very quick and efficient. Matt, also looked at my motor, and gave some good advice in terms of replacement. Which is something that we are adding onto the list for the future. He saved my life today, and would definitley use him again for any garage needs.

This is the second time I have called A Absolute Garage Door Company. Once again Joe was the tech that came out. He was on time and as I have come to expect with Joe he was very professional. He explained what he would be doing prior to performing the work. I left him to his work. I stopped back about 45 min. later with a couple of bottles of water for him and to see how things were going. I had not expected that he would be almost done. It took about another 20 min. and he was ready for me to program my code for the keypad. Joe did a great job and I am one of those people who believes in regular maintenance so I will be calling on A Absolute Garage Door Company to send Joe out the next time I need a garage door tune up.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. I had trouble getting this company to schedule a appointment with me, weeks later and 3 or 4 more emails I finally got a date. When David came he was on time, very nice and very professional. He answered all my questions and showed me how to operate the features. This is the first time I had a garage, I know nothing about openers so I appreciated the time he took. I do have a problem with the company, besides the trouble I had getting them to schedule me the description on Angie's List said that the motor reduces noise but the chain drive makes more noise than a belt so it's a wash as far as noise is concerned, they also state a multi-function control panel but all it does is turn the light on/off and open/close the door. I guess that is more than one function but I had a panel that give time and temperature so I think that multi-function is a bit misleading.. I was disappointed that the opener had only one light but since nothing was said and I didn't ask I had to be ok with it until I went online to register the opener and discovered that the model #8365 that was in the Angie's List description was not the model that I received, the model that I got was #8165 the other model had 2 lights. When I called the company they said that the #8365 was a typo, I can understand that but I think they should have said something when I first contacted them. I don't think I will use this company again.

Showed up on time. Pleasant to deal with. Inspected the garage door and track for any issues - making adjustments as needed. Recommended new garage door wheels. I agreed to the new wheels and they were installed within 20 minutes. Operation of the garage door is much quieter.

Everything was great very honest and on time. We Gave his business cards to neighbors because I know he will do a great job for them also. Didn't charge for anything extra because we really didn't need it. Very refreshing not to be talked into something extra. We will have him back.

I was so pleased with the service that was provided. It was very easy setting up the appointment. The installer arrived on time and did wonderful work. I was worried they would find something during the tuneup that needed fixing and would cost a lot. Thank goodness this wasn't the case. We ended up replacing one wheel and a bracket for a very reasonable price ($40). Overall, I would definitely recommend A Absolute Garage Door and would use them again for any garage door needs.

Excellent service, on time ( he called when he was 15 min away) knowledgeable and everything replaced within an hour. He explained the features & helped set up the key pad. Really happy with the service!

This is the second time we have scheduled at tune up with A Absolute Garage Door Company. The problem: When we push the button to close the door, the door begins to move down and then the lights flash and the door returns to the full open position. After the first visit in January, the garage door worked properly until the middle of May. We went on Angie's List and saw a tune up available from A Absolute Garage Door Company for $69.00. The company responded promptly and scheduled the service. The technician came out and we discussed the issue we are having as well as their previous visit back in January 2015. The fix: The tech removed the sensors and mounted them on top of the garage door opener. The door now closes without any issues.

Everything went very well. Explained how everything worked, including the wi-fi access. Very easy going guy.

Mark was awesome. He gave me an accurate quote over the phone (lower than all the other quotes), and allowed for an appointment that was late in the day. Mark arrived on time with a call ahead to let me know when he would be here. He was courteous and friendly and made a recommendation for a repair but wasn't at all pushy. He was done quickly so it didn't interfere with my evening. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

.,Friday late afternoon (after 4:30 pm) my daughter comes to front door, says the garage door won't close, and it looks funny. GULP! I go out to look and it's sitting at a slant, one side is 12 inches off the ground the other about 4 inches. Appears to be off the rails. This door isn't that old (guessing about 5 -7 years) and while not the best, it wasn't the cheapest or worst by any stretch. I went inside to look and one of the cables had snapped. Got on Angie's list and 1st contractor I selected scheduled me for next morning at 11am. By this time it was almost 5:30pm. I thought about it and didn't want to wait if I didn't have to, was afraid that door might fall completely, possibly damaging it more, or having someone get hurt. Also I live near a forest preserve with LOTS of raccoons. So I searched Angie's list again, found A Absolute and gave them a call. Matt the owner answered, said he had another job right then, but could make it out after then, possibly around 8:30pm. I booked him. He called at 7:15pm, said he was finishing up and should be able to make it by 7:45pm. He did, 45 minutes earlier than originally promised, and the call was also good to get. He arrived, had all the tools and parts he needed on a very professional looking truck. He said the door was good, no damage. The cable needed to be replaced at a minimum, and the recommendation is to do the pair (both sides) so they are equal. Plus if that 1st one went, might the 2nd go in a few months. He also said a few of the rollers might need replacing. The spring he didn't target, I asked. He said there is no way they can tell normally, they can just fail after so many uses. The tracks he was able to bent back, they didn't need replacement. I opted, without any pressure form him to have him replace the spring and ALL the rollers. He completed the job quickly, professionally, and lubed everything. He also took time to explain everything to me, including how I could perform so basic maintenance (clean and lubing) myself to save some money and have the door components last longer. This gentlemen clearly is a proud business owner, it shows in his work ethic, honestly and professionalism. Someone I would recommend without any hesitation or reservations.

He was great! He came same day and there was absolutely no pressure to buy more than I needed. He was honest and fast. One of the nicest guys to work with.

A Absolute Garage Door did a great job. Matt came out earlier in the week to estimate the cost and provide a quote. He was very friendly and professional. He gave my wife and I a number of options as well as his recommendations. Pricing was competitive. Matt came out later in the week to do the install. He called ahead of time and showed up on time. The work looked like it was done in a professional manner without any corners being cut. He cleaned up afterwards and hauled off the old door and hardware for us. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends.

Overall, I was happy with the tune-up. The technician was professional, responsive and communicated the what/why while he was working. After the technician had left, I noticed (a couple hours later) that the garage door would not close. I called the company and the same tech was quickly dispatched.. he arrived, fixed the problem and everything was working again. Despite all that, I would still recommend this company and would do business with them again.

My wife was present for the appointment. She said everything went well. The person showed up on time, was very professional and explained everything very clearly. She said she did not feel pressured to buy anything extra. He did explain the good and bad of our current garage. He left information in case we are ever interested in replacing it.

The technician showed up on time. Was courteous and explained the current state of garage door and the door opener. After tune up, I asked him to program my car remote control and he gladly did that. I also asked him for replacing the weatherstrip (for an extra charge) at the bottom of the garage door and he replaced it quickly. All work was completed to my satisfaction.

I purchased a tune up deal thru Angie' List. It was fairly east to set up a mutually agreeable time for the service. The tech arrived on time and was professional. He recommended replacing my wheels which was an up charge but I agreed with his assessment that it was required. The tune up and new wheels make the action of the door seem allot smoother so I am happy with the result.

Great Service and very competitive price

Arrived on Monday and willing to match the price from a friend owned company quote last year. They came back to install the new door on Wednesday. All were done professionally and timely. Highly recommend.
