A & D Total Plumbing

We have been using A & D Total Plumbing for over 15 years whenever we required plumbing services. They have always responded quickly and performed the work in a professional manner at a fair price. When we recently had a major plumbing issue to resolve we knew we could count on this company to handle the repair. A & D carefully analyzed the situation and made suggestions how to best make the repairs. We decided to have new water lines to the kitchen installed even though it's a major project as the water lines are located under the concrete slab floor. The job was finished in a timely manner and at minimum interruption to our home life. They went out of their way to seal off the work area to keep our home as clean as possible and when finished removed all debris. We really appreciated the respect they showed to our property and how careful they were as they did their work. We are very pleased as always with their service, honesty and integrity. It's a comforting feeling when faced with a major repair knowing that you have a company you can trust and that will do the work the right way. I recommend A & D Total Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing services.

I've been in general very happy with them. They do good work and their prices are very appropriate. They're topnotch, very professional. It's good quality. The price is appropriate. The owner is very responsive.

A and D did a great job replacing my hot water heater. I had a hot water heater that began leaking while still under warranty, so the plumbers needed to drain my leaking hot water heater, remove it, load it on their truck, then meet me at the store to exchange the old heater with the new one and then install the new water heater. So, essentially my experience was all labor. The plumbers were on time, courteous, and communicated well with me regarding what I could do to help expedite the replacement. I believe they completed the job quickly while doing quality work. I received telephone confirmations the night before and morning of the job to ensure that the job was scheduled. Overall, I would use A and D again for future plumbing needs.

We have used J and D twice so far and I will continue to use them for my plumbing needs. I just joined Angie's List a few days ago, and the date of service is really a guess, but it was within the last month or two. The shutoff valve from the toilet to the wall was leaking. I actually didn't know that is where the leak was coming from but the plumbers found it. I work in downtown Chicago but live in the suburbs, so my commute can be quite long. We finally knew we had to jump at getting a plumber in our house as soon as possible when we started noticing water coming from the second floor down to the first floor (which is amazing considering that the leak didn't seem like a big one to me at the time). To top it all off, we have a newborn baby at home so this was not work that any of us had time to do ourselves. My wife called and they came the same day and fixed it in less than an hour. Everything was cleaned up and my wife told me that they are very nice people. We had a similar issue with another leak over a year ago and we used the same company. Again, prices were fair and they seem to be trustworthy. I will certainly be using them as I contemplate some remodeling in my home. Highly recommend.

Have been using A and D for years. Always professional, polite, and does excellent plumbing work. Water heater leaked over night, called and Dwayne came out and installed new one Saturday morning. New water heater, valves. Always covers the floors and cleans up, I never have to clean up after them. Great company to work with.

The quotation and scheduling of the inspection went fairly well, as the woman returning my voicemails coordinated with the plumber and me quickly, and we discussed my need to satisfy the village with a plumbing inspection to approve existing work. I was told by my tenant that the plumber showed up, went to the laundry room, and left within a minute. I was called later by the woman and told that the plumber was unable to perform the inspection because nothing was available to be seen. I mentioned that I had said it was existing finished work, but to let me know what needs to be opened up, and I would handle it. She said she would talk with the plumber and let me know. I gave her a couple days, since I figured the plumber is probably busy during the day. I called back and reminded her that I was still waiting to have the information. She said she would check with the plumber and get back to me (again). I waited 3 more days, and found a new plumber.

I would definitely recommend A and D Total Plumbing. Matt and Tony were great. They were friendly and knowledgable They were neat and clean.They put down tarps on my basement stairs and over the area they were working in. They cleaned up after cutting the drywall and left the area clean. The spigot works great. I will definitely use them again.My experience was great. Beginning with my phone call to get an estimate until the end.

True professionals. Punctual, polite, informative. They were great. I had a big project and they stayed true to their quote. No surprise charges. They worked clean. I was shocked at how tidy this dirty project was when they left. I never felt like they were just trying to make a buck. They were great. I'd highly reco them!

Two person team (Dwayne and Grant) arrived precisely on time, assessed the situation, and got to work. They started by placing drop cloth over the entire work area and path out of the house to ensure cleanliness, and the work progressed as expected. When the job was done, they tested everything to ensure that it functioned to my expectations, and answered several of my water quality and equipment questions very knowledgeably. They were friendly and professional throughout the job, and left the house as clean as it was before they started.

Very professional and honest. Never tried to sell me something I didn't need. Did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Nothing fancy, but a solid "get what you pay for" experience.Will contiue to use them.

It went great! Dewayne, the owner, and his crew really did an awesome job! They showed up when promised. First thing they did every morning was lay down drop cloths from my front door all the way to the work area in my bathroom. The bathroom remodel had a building permit and I overheard the inspector say what a great job they did! How comforting it was to hear that! A and D Total Plumbing was a joy to work with. I highly recommend them!

They are the best and the only plumber I’ll use. I think the world of them. I live in the middle of an acre lot so there is a lot of line that needed to be cleaned out. Last year, my sewer line backed up in January and they guy from A and D rodded it for four days straight. He didn’t have to dig it up and he just wouldn’t give up even though it was below freezing.

We had a clogged kitchen drain. I could only get my snake about 10 feet so I called Aand D Total Plumbing. Debbie called first thing in the morning to set the appointment. The plumber showed up right on time and had to work around our 2 dogs and at the end 2 delivery men for our new refrigerator. He was very patient with all of this going on. We had a small drip by the 2nd sink drain and after I could not figure out what it was he came back the next day, no charge, and everything is working great.

They have been excellent. They are very efficient and polite. They do great work and I would highly recommend them.

Everything went really well with the entire project. There were no problems what so ever and I thought they charged me a reasonable fee as well. They were professional and everything. I also feel that they are very reliable. I have never felt like I got ripped off by them after they have left.

I have found them to be very honest and trustworthy. Chris, the plumber, is very courteous and explains procedures he is doing so you easily understand. We live in Elk Grove Village, and they charge an additional fee to come out here, but in the long run, I feel it is cheaper because we haven't found a plumber locally that we have been satisfied with, and everything they have done works great.
