Description of Work: We have used Southern Touch Painting for 3 jobs now over the past 5 months, and they do fantastic work. We had interior painting and dry wall patching done in several rooms in our Barrington home. They aslo painted a wood cabinet. The work is meticulous. Johnny and crew are perfectionists in what they do. And they are also courteus and nice. Clean up is outstanding. We plan on uising them for additional interior painting as well as to paint the exterior of our mostly wood home. They provide high quality work at a fair price. Learned of them through a friend who uses them and we could not be more pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Description of Work: Several interior rooms, trim, and ceilings painted. Walls patched. Exterior painted, wood repaired where needed.

Description of Work: The owner, Johnnie, came to our residence and gave us a free estimate to paint most of the interior walls. The first and second floor. This was the first time we met him and were impressed at his so called knowledge of paint and the skill involved. He quoted us a price of $3000 which was comparable to other bids we had received. he did say that he needed half up from and the rest upon completion. we were OK that that arrangement. He was scheduled to start on a Monday at 8am. he did not arrive until 10am, stating that he had car trouble. We understood and forgot about the incident. Two days later he did not show up at all, and we called and called and he finally returned our call the net day ,stating that a "family issue" had occurred. We understood; after all, a person cannot help when family emergencies arise. He apologized and was there bright and early the next day. The next two days went fine and he asked us that since he only had one more days work until it was completed could he take the final check with him that evening, because he needed it for the family's medical bills. we were fine with this since it was the second to last day of work. Of course most reading this will know that we as clients and consumers were not smart, but after 2 weeks we thought he, Johnnie Folgeman, would have a enough work ethic and pride in his work, plus honesty to come back the next day to finish. He did not! we called several times and no answer, he finally called back 3 days later to apologize and said he would be there the next day. But he was a no show, we called again, and the circle continued. he would say he would be there and he would be a no show. This went on for weeks. We finally hired another painter to complete the work.
