Smith & Noble has easily been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. In July I attempted to place an order for 2 sets of curtains with hardware and it took until December for them to be properly installed and countless hours of my life going back and fourth for service mismanagement. Attempting to place the order involved countless follow ups to my sales rep, I received multiple incorrect product quotes in follow up to what I requested. After finally getting the order placed, I was later notified the drapes were on back order for two months. When the drapes finally came they were the wrong length as a result of their “expert installers” incorrect measurements. The drapes had to be reordered. Additionally, pieces of hardware were missing from my order. After they were installed, within 2 weeks, the drapes fell off the rings. The came to reset the pins, they fell off again. At almost every installation appointment (of which there were many), the technicians arrived several hours late and with incorrect installation instructions and equipment. One time the installer even came and said he was unable to get on the ladder due to a recent fall that left him shaken. I escalated the challenges I was having to the regional sales manager. Service did not improve. I shared my disappointment with her and asked that I be compensated for poor service I received. She said she would speak with her boss and was never to be heard from again despite multiple follow ups. I desperately wish I could go back in time and make the decision to work with another provider.

I FOUND SMITH + NOBLE ONLINE AND ORDERED WOOD BLINDS FROM THEM. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY EFFICIENT. THEY SENT OUT A SERVICE PERSON TO MEASURE AND THE BLINDS ARRIVED ABOUT 3 WEEKS LATER. I WASNT THERE WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLED( MY DAUGHTER WAS HOME). WHEN I SAW THEM I WASNT PLEASED WITH THE LOOK OR THE OPERATION. I CALLED THEM THE NEXT DAY AND THEY IMMEDIATELY WENT INTO ACTION AND REORDERED NEW BLINDS FOR ALL THE WINDOWS. ABOUT 3 WEEKS LATER THEY WERE INSTALLED. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE BLINDS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.
