Jim and Carol were fantastic. Walked me through every step of the security system step-up and took the time to explain everything to me. Did not try and upsell me on anything as they were able to use components of the old system the previous homeowners had in place. The monthly monitoring fee is nominal compared with other companies. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a security system.

This is the second time i have used Redlight Security. Jim always shows up on time and completes the job in an extremely professional manner. This time i called him was a small job, mounting two new alarm panels in an older home. He showed up for the estimate, gave us some recommendations on where the panels should go and gave us a price. He showed up two days later with his tech and i have never seen someone drill such a neat and clean hole in drywall. They even vacuumed up the dust (even though the house was a mess from floor sanding, painting and other general move in items). I will continue to use Jim and his company in the future and i highly recommend that you give him a call for any of your security needs.

They came on time, and Jim German (pronounced Gerr-man, was unbelievably knowledgeable, came up with great ideas and suggestions, and just was a pleasure to work with. I had a question on Thanksgiving and texted him, not expected a return text until the next day, and I heard back within minutes. He touched up paint left by new panels as well. Top notch man, and top notch company.

Installation went smoothly with no issues. The tech was knowledgable and performed his work quickly. Because there are 18 zones, the programming took longer to complete that than the physical upgrade to the system. Now, with TotalConnect I can use my smart phone to arm/disarm the system, in addition to some other cool features. Jim German did a great job instructing me on how to operate and use the features of the system. He is sincere in wanting you to be comfortable using the system and to call him when you need help with anything. Later when contacting his office, his staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this company for their security services.

Jim German called me the next day and came over to discuss my options regarding my 5 smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. He made excellent suggestions and returned the next day to do the work. The work was professional and of high quality. I feel that my house is safer because of Redlight Security. I would definitely consider using them again. It was a pleasure.

Everything was great. Jim came out for the initial install, thoroughly explained all of the options, answered a multitude of questions and never tried to oversell. We weren't sure which type of system we wanted and Jim provided quite a few pricing options which helped us decide. We even made some changes after the initial install and Jim returned to swap out some items. He definitely wants his customers to be 100% satisfied. Jim was referred to me by a good friend. He definitely did not disappoint. He came out to meet with us and do an assessment (at no cost) to provide a quote. I was very impressed with Jim?s level of professionalism as well as his jovial demeanor. He answered all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable with the new system. When he came to install the system with his partner Louis, they were very thorough. They made sure the system was fully operational, and took the time to explain every detail. He even gave me his cell phone number for any questions or problems and encouraged me to call whenever. We looked at bundling our Alarm system with our Xfinity contract. It would have been a sliver more cost effective. In the end, Jim?s level of professionalism and personal service was worth the nominal extra cost. I Highly recommend Jim and his firm !

The installer worked quickly and efficiently. The various components were installed neatly and unobtrusively, with no damage to my home. The all personnel were polite and professional. The system works very well, and ongoing monitoring service has been terrific.

They did an outstanding job in both locations and ensured not only that everything worked properly but when we wished to have a few things upgraded to meet some requirements we didn't know could be met it was handled easilly and fairly. Leave plenty of time for the installation, particularly in large, brick or much older buildings as it is difficult to know just what they will run into when installing equipment sometimes. To their credit, regardless of the difficulties, they never simply explained away wires hanging etc, they made sure that wires were run through walls or ceilings or where not possible hidden very discretely in chases. Not only that, they went as far as to touch up paint and clean up installation debris, leving for example windows and doorways cleaner after the installation than they were before it. Outstanding company working above the standards you would hope for and certainly head and shoulders over their biggest competitors in the industry.

Utmost knowledge and professionalism. Installation was performed without disrupting my business and training was performed at a level that I could understand. Red Light created the security system to meet my needs and did not oversell features I did not need. The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding. I have contacted Red Light several times with questions and all of my inquiries were handled quickly and professionally. Level of customer service is awesome.

I am very satified with the system that was installed. The owner, Jim, took the time to discuss all the options and considerations with me. He also spent the time to walk through the system set up in detail to ensure that i was ready once it was installed. One of the best service experiences i have ever had. The system is a definite upgrade, but the installation service made a huge difference in what I installed and how i use it going forward.

The process was great. Jim made sure the install was top notch and that everything worked properly. Most security companies will come in and just double stick tape all the equipment and staple wires to walls to get out as quickly as possible. RedLight made sure the install was extremely professional -they even vacuumed up after themselves. There were no exposed wires which my previous security company left visible. RedLIght took the time to run the wires behind the drywall and make sure that everything looked neat and professional. After the install was complete, Jim spent a lot of extra time teaching us how to use the web interface and iPhone apps to control our system remotely. I had some trouble configuring things after Jim left and he spent time on the phone with me making sure I was able to work everything properly. RedLight is a great company with excellent service and very competitive prices - they are significantly less than the big guys. I don't think you can go wrong with these guys.

The alarm system they installed is really easy to use. The whole family likes the graphic keypads installed because they are so easy to use. Plus we now have a medical emergency pendant that my mother can wear in case she needs help when no one is at home.

The owner of the company, Jim, showed us several ways that our objective could be accomplished. We selected the one that made use of some of our existing equipment. Jim installed the system over several days. He was meticulous. There wasn't one scrap of wire left behind. After he was finished, he checked with us several times a day to see if everything was working correctly. He helped me install the apps for the system on my phone and ipad and went through the various capabilities of the wifi enabled system. All of his componants are made by Honeywell. The system is the Honeywell Lynx Touch 5200.
