PJs Pools

The absolute worst! These guys "opened" my pool. PJ, the owner and an employee were on site. I had to spend two hours helping them because they couldn't figure out how to attach the railings and diving board. They didn't vacuum! They didn't even attempt to balance the chemistry. They didn't turn on the heater, unless you count pressing the on button. It was not working, and needed repairs which I wound up doing myself, they didn't bother to check it, at all. Worst of all, they failed to tighten the bolts on the diving board, and as a result one of my kid's friends got injured when the board went sideways. Stay away. Literally, anyone else is a better choice.

Overall; it took much longer than expected but that was Covid era and everything moved slowly.

We had a vision of the kind of pool we wanted and PJ made it happen. I gave PJ and a few other pool installers a call. PJ came to my home and listened to my requirements. I got a good vibe from him. He mentioned that he runs a family business. His niece Megan runs the office and his son Joe manages their pool service operations. I decided that PJ provided the best value and contracted with him. He helped to meet the Cook County Health and Building/Zoning permit requirements. A couple months later we have our dream pool. PJ worked with several teams to complete the numerous steps it takes to finish an inground pool installation project. Most of his teams have been working with PJ for over 20 years and I witnessed the experience first hand, as they meticulously measured and executed on each phase. PJ is hands on and directed the most important activities during the installation. PJ is personable, responsive and passionate about his work. As I had questions, he was always quick to reply. I recommend PJ very highly.

Very happy with PJs Pools. Needed the heater fixed on our pool. They came out and had to order a part. Ordered the parts needed and had it fixed in a couple of days at a very reasonable cost. Heater is working great.

PJ and his staff are the nicest, most knowledgable people I had working on my entire project - installing and setting up a new pool. I would highly recommend them.

The project worked out great. We are very happy with our pool.
