LAROCCO ELECTRIC

Do not call this person. We had no electricity and he told us we needed to re-trench the main service to our house. We paid him over $1200.00. We then realized it was just an issue with ComEd, they came and restored everything. Guess what happened!? YEP, Chris kept our money and refused to return it. How horrible is that?! I even told him to take a few hundred for his time but to return the rest for the electrical job never happened. Who does that? Takes a deposit on a job, doesn’t do the job, then runs away with the money?! Shame. It’s one of the worsts experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

I would NEVER recommend LaRocco Electric to anyone. We had a horrible experience. They were not professional, rushed through the job, had to come back twice to try to fix issues that were supposed to be taken care of originally, and then we had to hire a different electrician to fix his mistake, as we just did not want to deal with them anymore. We had other professionals in our home working at the same time, and we received 2 different phone calls warning us about the work ethic and habits of LaRocco, and at one point had to cut an out of town trip short to get back and deal with a situation he created in our home. I also know of someone else who used LaRocco and had to pay to have the ENTIRE projet re-done, due to faulty wiring and safety concerns. LaRocco did not return calls and dodged emails about issues after the project was "complete." He was not respectful of our home and I would not use him again for even the simplest of home improvement projects as he and his company do not seem to have the basic knowledge and skills required to be an electrician.
