As is always the case with these folks, every phone call was a delight. Every time they arrived they were on the dot on time. (Do they wait down the street until it's exactly the right moment?) I left them to finish the job while I was out of town, and I came home to a beautiful new home. However, there was one spot the painter somehow missed (even perfectionists make mistakes). My phone call was immediately answered, and the painter was over at my first convenient moment and, torn between embarassment and amusement, quickly fixed the mistake. The painting is beautiful.

We decided to re-side instead of painting so we did not need to use this company at this time.

Scott was punctual, courteous and very helpful explaining what may or may not cause drywall cutting and repair. All work he did was well done, and professional. I had a longer list and unfortunately, these items took up his time so I will be calling back for more work to be done.

Absolutely excellent experience with everyone! The owners, Rod and Faith, are easy to work with and were very available during the project. Rod stopped by several times to check in on the work. The drywall installers, Urmas and Ivo, were without compare. They worked quickly, quietly and were very clean. They installed the drywall so well, and mudded so smoothly, there was very little drywall dust at all! They even fixed slight blemishes in the drywall I didn't point out and I couldn't even notice. I have endured other drywall work where the clean up afterward is horrendous due to all the dust. These guys were the best I have ever seen. I will never have anyone else do any drywall work in my home as long as Urmas and Ivo are available. We could have done the work for a bit cheaper with another company, but I have no problem paying extra for their expertise!

He came when he said he would, first tried re-seating it, which didn't work. So I suggested perhaps the outlet pipe was clogged. He took it apart, we put a bucket over the top end of the pipe, and he plugged it in. The force of the water coming out blew the bucket off the pipe, but he unplugged it quickly enough that no harm was done. Then he reassembled everything, and it was fine.

Rob called me back after viewing the pictures, asked for some more pictures and called me back the next day. He patiently explained to me the steps to getting the work done and what it would cost me. He answered all my questions and in the process saved me some money because I was thinking of getting a different laminate countertop which would not have solved the problem of my uneven walls.

I called the contractor in the morning for an estimate as my husband was home with tile people, Rod came that day, his estimate was good and said they could start in a couple days if we wanted. They couldn't have been more accommodating when I kept adding things to the list. They covered the furniture with plastic and cleaned up everyday there. We had delays because the colored tub had to be ordered: when it came in they came back and finished in a timely fashion. We had a tile company working at the same time and they worked around them with no problems. I recommend them and have to our friends.

They did very good work. They were always prompt and we will be happy to call Rod and Faith in the future. They actually started the work one week ahead of schedule.

I called and spoke to Faith of Handymen and Mrs based on a another Angie's List recommendation. Since I had other work already scheduled, I was under a time constraint and was happy that time was available in their schedule. Two workers came by to survey the repair ahead of time so Faith was able to do an estimate. They do very good work and I was very pleased. I've already scheduled additional work for next week.

Great. I would use them again in a second. Faith and Rod came to the house to review the work. The crew came out and completed the work promptly. They did a good job, cleaned up after themselves, made some suggestions about future modifications. I recommend them completely.

Good job! Rod was very patient and worked with us as we changed plans a few times before and even on the first day the work started. We really appreciated the team's flexibility. The team met a few challenges as the project got underway and each time came up with very effective solutions for us. The resulting work is high quality and overall we are very satisfied with the project.

Rod & Faith were prompt in meeting us & providing a very accurate quote for the work we needed. My wife & I redecorated our home after 18 years. New carpeting, kitchen counters, & painting. Jay provided all of the assistance we needed to complete the renovation after the counters & carpeting were installed. Their original quote was based on our having the home ready to complete the job. But we didn't get our lights on time & they had to work around our schedule. They were terrific. Everyone called to reconfirm times, followup on work, & generally help us out when things did not arrive as planned. I would highly recommend this organization to everyone & we are planning on using them in the future.

Company was responsive, polite, on time and cleaned up nicely. Job was done exactly in estimated time. As they charge a flat hourly fee they suggested I have something else done to use the paid for time. So I also had them change the toilet valve.

The contractor arrived around 8am got to work removing the doors. He then went to the store to buy the new doors, came back, and began installing the doors and surrounding trim. He offered to clean up (vacuum), but I said no that's okay because we had painters arriving the next day (same contractor). He finished the job around 4pm that same day. There were a few minor issues with the doors latching and closing, so I called Faith and the contractor came back to fix. The problems that occurred were actually due to the painters mistakes primarily, not the carpentry, and were easily fixed no charge.

Two painters (I forget their names!) arrived when we were at work, probably around 8am, and let themselves in. When I got home from work at 5pm, they were working away and very quiet! They finished the job and departed around 7pm. There was some miscommunication regarding what I was quoted with Faith, what I thought I was quoted, and what the painters expected, however in the end I was given the price I thought I was quoted, which was less than what the work probably should have costed. Just make sure you communicate everything very well before work starts, which I thought I had done but I guess not. They did a phenomenal job - you would never know there was a crack in the ceiling at one point and the doors look great.

I was able to get a quote over the phone. The lady was very pleasant and returned my phone call in a timely manner. I received a fair quote, but decided I would rather paint it myself.

Heath came over soon after my initital call to give me an estimate. I was a bit of a hold-up for this project because I didn't have all the floor tiles that I needed. The floor was finished in one day. Heath needed to return a week or so later because one of the tiles had a crack in it and needed to be replaced. There were also several tiles that had started to come up. Heath also replaced a few of the other tiles. I really appreciated him coming over on a Friday night to work, especially after he had worked another job all week! There were some black marks on the tile from the adhesive and he was helpful in getting those removed. He also assisted with putting a piece of wood next to my dishwasher so the cat couldn't shove her toys behind the dishwasher!

He was extremely prompt, and was careful to cover any exposed areas with drop cloths to protect my carpet, etc. Walls were professionally patched where previous nail holes, or move-in bumps and bruises existed. Job was completed quicker than expected, and clean up so thorough only an obsessive homeowner would have been able to tell that work had been done that day. This was my first attempt at using a company affiliated with Angie's list and I'm happy to say this attempt was successful. As a new homeowner, it has been difficult and frustrating to find reputable companies in the area to assist with various repair work.

Excellent communication with the contractor, from start to finish. Scott, a subcontractor, is thorough, diligent, neat (seemingly a novelty in today's market), considerate & pleasant. At $80 per hour, though competitively priced versus the franchises, they are no bargain for this type of simple, straightforward kind of work, but I would recommend them and consider using them again.

Great. Rod and Heath were great. They came when they said and did what they said they would do. The floor in the rooms look great.

They were great. My phone calls were returned quickly. They gave me an accurate estimate over the phone. I have hardwood floors that scratch if you even look at them the wrong way and expressed my concern about them. Every time I spoke to Faith, she restated that concern and assured me they would be careful. They came quickly, did the repair and painting, and my floors were not damaged. They repaired a phone jack that was sticking out of the wall. Everything looks great. My door works too.

Everything went exceptionally well! Rod, the company owner, came out in October to meet with me to go through the house so he could see exactly what we wanted done. He offered great suggestions. He sent me an estimate a week or 2 later, which was fine because we wanted to wait until after the holidays to begin the work. We gave them a deposit when we received the estimate. As promised, they began the work in January and completed it in about 3 weeks. Jay always left the house very "livable" - which was not easy because he had to tear up the stairs. But he reattached the stairs at the end of the day so we could go up and down. He also moved his equipment far over to one side of the garage every day. Jay also cleaned up and bagged all the trash when he was finished. The painters did a lovely job. They took care of all the cracks and repairs. We are extremely pleased with all their work!

The workman arrived on time. He assessed what the different jobs were in both apartments and went with me to purchase a door and two outlets. He quickly got the outlets installed and re-hung the storm door. He repaired the front door and, in a stronger fashion, rehung the door.
