Everything (everything!) went very well. Scott, the "Handyman," arrived promptly, worked very hard all day, offered good ideas and suggestions, was patient with our sometimes-erratic decision-making, and cheerfully chose to stay beyond 5:00 because he wasn't quite finished with the attic flooring. All in all, simply as good as it gets!

After being out of town for three days, we returned to our home with the carpet drenched, ceiling on the floor and water falling from it. We called and Faith answered the phone. She was very helpful and guided me through the process of locating our water meter and turning the main water line off. Her calm instructions were excellent in my state of panic and shock. She said Scott would be out immediately. Scott quickly figured out and fixed the problem. He explained clearly what happened and how it happened. After fixing the problem, Scott even stayed a bit longer and helped drain the remaining water pockets in the house. He definitely went above and beyond the call of duty.

Scott was very knowledgeable and honest. Although I am fairly handy myself, I ran into a problem with the door & decided that this was one time to hire a professional. When he corrected the electrical problem it was a pleasant relief to have one less thing for me to do.

Because of the price, I did not contract this company.

Faith is very pleasant to work with. She returned my call promptly, made sure she understood exactly what I needed, quickly scheduled Rannet to come look at the job and confirmed everything via email. Rannet did an excellent job of replacing and painting the rotting windowsills, repairing the surrounding drywall and caulking the inside of the window frames. The job took less time than expected and he took care to protect my light colored carpeting and not leave a mess. I'm very happy with the professionalism and quality demonstrated. I have additional future projects in mind and will certainly use Handyman and Mrs. Helper again.

From my first inquiry to the project's end, these folks were responsive, professional, friendly, trustworthy, and talented. They made sure I had all of their cell numbers -- and they all had mine --so that there were none of the common delays that happen when someone needs an answer, but has to leave a message. The electrical work was done ahead of schedule, and the painting truly exceeded our expectations.

Communication was fantastic. We delayed in making our decision and Faith followed up diligently. Two painters completed a large job in three days -- work was difficult and they handled it meticulously. We added more to the original estimate once they had started and they quoted while doing the job. There was a lot of trim work (5 large windows, 10 doorways). We were able to give them the color choices on the day they arrived. We originally thought that their quote was high (we had another estimate that was a bit lower, but their reports noted very slow progress), but after seeing the time and effort, felt we got so much for our money. The painters were talented, respectful, and thoughtful. We have five kids, a cat and a nosey dog which they put up with well. They cleaned up wonderfully, too. Would hire again for difficult spaces.

This company is wonderful. Faith was very prompt in returning calls and left voice messages when necessary. There are three words to describe the handyman Scott: Pleasant, professional, perfectionist. He was a really nice person and we appreciated his work ethic and honesty. My husband really appreciated Scott showing him how to caulk perfectly! It was a pleasure having Scott do work in our home.

Their response was very good. They did the job and the workmanship was excellent. There was a little problem, but the company is making it right. They gave me good advice on how to prevent future problems.

Handymen & Mrs Helper/Painting with Perfection charged us a fee for coming out that was non-refundable if we didn't hire them for the job. Everything about them was top grade except the price and ultimately we had to give up the down payment because we couldn't justify paying what seemed to be an exorbitant price. They also couldn't do the job for 3 weeks. The price they would have charged for the work was $3000. The price reflected here is what we did end up paying them just for coming out.

When I called, my call was returned promptly. When I told her the work I needed done, Faith wrote it down and told me she couldn't get anyone out to do the work for about 2 weeks. I told her that was okay, but she told me that wasn't good enough. She told me she would recommend someone else and they would call me. Rick returned my call the next day, and came out the following day. [He is currently working on my plumbing, so shall submit a report when he finishes.] I wanted to report on Handymen and Mrs. Helper's rapport with customers and their great service. She told me they do other work besides plumbing, and I would certainly use them because of their helpfulness.

Great! He was on time and completed all work to our satisfaction. He was very professional and courteous and I will definitely use his services again.

Job 1: After remodeling & painting my home, there were lots of little tasks leftover to be done(fixing new desk; to putting nail-in felt slides into new dining chairs; to hanging a variety of drapery hardware for new valances, reinstalled shades.) Scott worked down the entire list & getting everything done in less than a day. Things that I know I would not have gotten too. This is the 1st time I've had someone else be the handyman around my house, but it certainly won't be the last. Job 2: Any day that Scott works at my house is a good day. Although the biggest part of this job was the installation of the shade & panel track, it was fixing the gates that meant the most to me: after a yr of having delivery people claim my gate was locked & throwing packages into my yard, I now have a front gate that opens w/out yanking or tugging. Scott worked at a steady pace for the entire day, carefully staging his work so that he wouldn't be handling a white shade after working in the crawl space.

They did call me back right away, which I appreciate. However, the microwave I needed installed I had gotten for free from a friend who had gotten a new microwave for herself. So, it's an understatement to say I was shocked to find out they wanted to charge me $300 to install a microwave that probably didn't cost that much to begin with. I honestly felt like charging a four hour minimum is a total rip off. She said "the job would probably take that long anyway," but then turned around and said they could do other work for me in that 4 hours, which to me says she knows they won't take that long to just install a microwave and I would be completely overcharged. I told her I could wait and have a family member do it for free, I just didn't have the right tools to do it myself. She did give me the name of someone that does side jobs for them that called me so it would be cheaper since I wouldn't be going through them, but I still felt it was charging way too much. They didn't do the work.

Everything was done with perfection. They were on time and very accurate. The quality of their work was superb and we would recommend them to people any time. They were professional all of the time and cleaned up things very well.

There was daily communication by home phone and cell phone.

Very well. Urmas and Ivo pay very close attention to detail. I am very pleased with the service we received.

They do excellent customized work. I worked with them to let them know what I wanted and they designed a terrific entertainment cabinet. They were very easy to work with and they were very forthcoming with any information or suggestions.

Faith, which is who I talked to on the phone, was very good, knowledgeable and very responsive. They were flexible about negations and had reasonable prices. They did an excellent job.

Everything was great from start to finish. Faith responded immediately to my call to set up a convenient appointment. Scott arrived on time and did a great job! Both Faith and Scott were very professional, and the work was completed efficiently. We were very pleased!

Scott was extremely courteous and polite. Work was finished in a timely fashion and accidental overcharge was refunded.

I'm very happy with the work they did.

Mike and his team were fantastic. The guys moved the big furniture carefully, did a nice job and cleaned up after them selves. When a section of floor didn't look right to Mike, he had his team put on an extra coat. No one had to ask, he just took it upon himself to make sure the job was done right. Excellent work and an owner who follows up to make sure things are done right.

It took them approximately 8 weeks to finish the work and did a horrible job. We went back and forth about whether or not they needed to sand the deck before they stained it. They kept doing less and less and less and we just kept having to call them back to get the job completed. They dripped the deck finishing all down the windows below the deck. We had to call to find out where our screens were and they finally brought them back. To be fair, for indoor work, I think they're fine, but for outdoor work, they are not competent. I think they told me they could do the work when they didn't know what they were doing.

Good job, work completed as promised. Painters cleaned up after themselves, were pleasant and worked hard. Rooms look great.
