Handy Men & Mrs Helper Kitchen & Bath

I found Handyman and Mrs. Helper on Angie’s List a couple of years ago. I have hired them multiple times to do electrical, carpentry, and painting work. Anne and Andy in the office are a pleasure to deal with. I normally have Steve or Heath doing the work in my home and they are both very skilled, conscientious, and patient. I highly recommend them.

It went perfectly, as it always does when I use Handy Men & Mrs. Helper. I've used them several times over the past few years for painting (my entire home!) and various handyman projects. They are my go-to partners when I need work done on my home. They are reliable and operate with integrity. I have a remodeling project coming up with them and I am confident it will go smoothly.

Andy, Anne, and their team of contractors are punctual, professional, and pay great attention to detail. They also give you a timeline for the project and stick to it! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The work was unparalleled and their commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction is fantastic. Regardless of the scope of the project, they do exceptional work. We have used them for several projects and they continue to be first in class!

Remove existing cracked plastic floor mat under desk and install new mat; prep deck for winter including putting away all summer flower pots and deck decorations, covering summer furniture with covers and securely fastening the covers, taking down a patio umbrella and storing it, taking down gazebo curtains, dismantling barbecue, dismantling two fountains and storing them for the winter, etc. Scott was the handyman who came out to do the work, and as usual, did a wonderful job. All of the staff that Handy Men and Mrs. Helper employ are professional, courteous, and willing to do whatever is required in order to get the job done. I highly recommend Handy Men and Mrs. Helper and will continue to hire them whenever I have any household projects that need being done.

Every individual Handyman & Mrs. helper employees within each specialty I’ve used isn’t better then the last. Super nice and personable, all knowledgeable on their craft. Some have even let my dog out during the day for me! You can’t put a price on peace of mind, I trust this company and although you could probably price shop for something lower, this company will do the job right and of a super high quality!

We had three comprehensive estimates and they were all within hundreds of $$. I feel Handy Men pricing is very fair. $17,000 was approx total cost of materials and labor. We had the shower pan and walls in marble, Grohe shower system, new flooring in bath and walk in closet area, double vanity installed, beautiful teak wall/medicine mirror cabinet over vanity, custom glass shower enclosure. A bargain because it will last us 20 years in our home. I love it more now than when it was first completed. You have to live with things awhile sometimes! The job was executed perfectly!!! Hire this company for your remodel. You will be a happy customer too! In fact, I will be contacting them this week for a few things we need to get done. I just received a medical diagnosis and the walk in shower is so amazing...I am so glad we had it done!!! Thank you Andy and your team!

This company provided excellent service to use from beginning to end. Anne was responsive and helpful in answering intial questions, setting up the estimate, scheduling the work, and responding to inquiries along the way. Virgo, the painter, did an outstanding job. He arrived promptly on the day of the job and worked diligently all day to finish the job in one day. He also left the work space clean. The bathroom walls and ceiling look absolutely beautiful. We could not be happier with the service provided.

They have done various small jobs for us as well as minor upgrades to our other bathrooms, so, we knew we could the expect the best. The crew did quality work and always highly professional. Wouldn't hesitate to ask them for help again.

Everything was awesome! I highly recommend them! Martin was right on time and fixed it in less than an hour. He was fast but clean and did great work.

Very well. Anne ( Mrs. helper) is very helpful , she was able to schedule us within 2 days. The guy who painted was very Professional, responsive, and didn’t leave a mess behind. He bought us the paint and we reimbursed the company. He made sure we are completely satisfied before he left. I contacted the company for another project already. I highly recommend them.

Andy was wonderful to work with. When he came out to quote the job, he was thorough and very willing to work with us. We had a definite idea of what materials we wanted to use, and he was willing to quote just the labor and have us supply all of the materials. We requested a full gut of the room, and Andy was careful to explain that it wasn't absolutely necessary, and would increase the cost. We wanted that peace of mind, so Andy quoted the project as a full gut. Heath was our handy man/carpenter from the team, and he did a fabulous job! He was punctual, pleasant and professional. Throughout the process, Heath was patient with us as we made last minute decisions and waited on some items that needed to be reordered due to supplier error. He always had the attitude that it is our project and we should be happy, so he was willing to wait for parts or answers. The drywall and painting subcontractors were phenomenal. There is no sign of drywall seams and the painting flawless

Very well. When the problem was discovered to be worse than thought due to a leak, they called to walk me through everything and were very clear about expectations and next steps. The guy they sent out worked very hard to get everything done quickly. I will call them again with additional projects.

Andy and his team did a great job. Everyone working on the project was professional, neat, on-time and did high quality work. They replaced the tub, did drywall repair, tiled the shower enclosure, moved plumbing, electrical, repainted, etc. It looks great!

I cannot say enough nice things about Handy Men and Mrs Helper Kitchen and Bath! We had some drywall cracks here and there throughout our 2,500 sq ft house as well as a hole left by our electrician when he replaced our electrical panel that all needed to be repaired. The drywall repair work was absolutely flawless. We had them paint the entire house as well. They moved furniture for us, recommended paint types for certain high traffic areas, and were extremely punctual. They purchased all the materials for us since we don't know much about paint quantities needed or types of paint preferred. Our house looks brand new - such a professional job! Outside the actual work done, Anne was a pleasure to work with. She scheduled an in home estimate extremely quickly. Martin came out and estimated the job within $100 of the final cost and it only took him about 20 minutes to do the estimate. Anne was very patient with us when it came to scheduling the work knowing we were working within a moving timeline dependent upon when we were planning on listing our house for sale. Our job was scheduled perfectly in the end, and the team finished up a day early. Amazing experience overall, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME PROJECT TO BIG FOR THEM.CHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS OVER THE PHONE.

Andy and his crew (Scott, Martin, Dan, and Brian) were exceptional start to finish. Prompt arrivals each day, courteous, respectful, honest, and great craftsmanship. Andy also helped source materials that we had a hard time finding ourselves, and made sure we were 100# satisfied before collecting final payment. Would highly recommend.

They came out and took a look at the job then returned a bid for $439 with no mention or accounting for the four hours for $208. This job was only involving taping and mudding a small section and patching a small hole -- no sheetrock replacement. I feel like the initial offer was bogus.

Outstanding experience. The painters, Virgo and Rein, were always prompt and courteous. Very diligent and careful. Excellent work and the house looks great! Project was completed on time. Price was quite reasonable. I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

Wonderful, Urmas was very professional and cleaned up each day before he left. We were so comfortable that we left for work knowing he would lock when he was done for the day and leaving the kitchen prestine. I have added a before dark picture and now our new clean bright kitchen picture. We were so impressed with the quality of work we have hired them to paint our Family Room. So happy to have Angie's List to have found Handy Men and Mrs. Helper.

The process was easy and professionally done. Rein showed up on time every day and did the work just as promised. He was diligent and professional and careful and the work turned out excellent.

Work took place in June. Went very well. First two days involved two men. Next 4 days involved one. The effort took slightly longer than expected since we added the regrouting tasks which took some time to complete. Anne was very accommodating about the scope change. We provided some initial paint and more was need, so the painters bought the remainder and charged to us so we did not need to estimate the amount needed in advance which worked out very well. They were punctual which I particularly value for any service provider. Martin came by to make the initial survey in order to provide an estimate. The estimate was accurate.
