The work looks amazing! Truly transforming, so light and clean now. Virgo and Rein made it look easy and are super nice. The patching is undetectable and the painting is beautiful and accurate. The work took them two days to complete and they cleaned up at the end of each day. Couldn't be happier. I am so relieved to have found this company, as there are many other projects to do and I will use Handy Men & Mrs Helper for them. Anne and Ginger in the office make the quotes, scheduling, questions and invoicing timely, easy and they are voices of calm experience. Thank you!!

Of the remodelers I contacted, Andy gave me the best quote. More importantly, he was very easy to communicate with and seemed interested in performing the work (quick response with a quote, good follow up to questions). Once we decided to go ahead, the start date was scheduled quickly. Steve was our handyman, and he was terrific. He's a really nice guy, and did beautiful work (all while keeping practically silent during nap time). As I told both Steve and Andy- a full bathroom remodel could have been so stressful, but it was totally stress free. Steve also built 3 window seats with bookshelves in our kids' rooms. They are super functional and well made, and I'm thrilled we were able to get them done in the bathroom timeframe.

Scott arrived on time and was very helpful. He not only accomplished all of the projects that we asked for help with that day, but he also offered some advice on some things that we had questions about as new homeowners. He was friendly, knowledgable and very resourceful and we would definitely want him to come back to work on future projects around the house.

I wish I had known about them prior to my getting ready to sell my house. They were incredibly easy to work with, responsive and professional. They were like having friends to call when I needed something done.

It went perfectly! Andy was incredibly patient. This was my first project of this size. I asked many many many questions. Andy answered each of them, sometimes twice. He was flexible as we changed our minds on what we wanted a few times. I was able to reach Andy via, cell, text or email. Once we started the project it went exactly to timeframe. One day destruction, next day to repair, next to install, couple days for back splash and the last day to touch up the paint. Cost for labor and granite was exact. A nice surprise was the estimated costs came in lower than anticipated. I found a knick in the granite, they were out the next day to fix it! My wife and I could not be happier with the look our new kitchen. I must also say Anne in the office was also a delight. She was easy to communicate with and made sure Andy was on point :) I cannot say enough good about Andy and Mrs. Helper. Maybe the best thing I can say, is that we are already in the process with Andy to remodel the master bathroom.

Urmas did a fantastic job. Everything was done perfectly. Not a drop of paint on my new wood floors. He was prompt, worked quickly, and cleaned up nicely. Anne was very good with keeping me informed and checking to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The price was reasonable for all the work. I would most definitely use them again.

Went very well. Scott was at the house on time. Answered all my questions, completed the work on time and within the estimate. He also offered a few suggestions for fixing the drywall issues we had not related to the fan work. We will be calling them for other work of this nature.

Andy, Ginger, and Anne provided knowledge, vendors, options, and especially patience as I tried to make up my mind selecting all the items, big and small for the makeover. I felt like I was working with friends, who were also professional, in every way. They were accommodating from the very beginning--when I forgot the start date. I have a slanting roof and they were still able to find a mirror and lighting to fit in the space. I will definitely use them in the future for any work needed, and would highly recommend them.

They did an awesome job painting the house, they were right we needed 2 coats :) They showed up, looked over the job and told me where they were going to start and said home depot was wrong or it's magic pain, since one can was not enough. I left for worked received a call later, they were all done, I checked it out the next morning and it looked 100 times better than what it was.

Professional was very qualified, very punctual, and and did an overall great job. Very happy.

This project was completed on time as scheduled and budget Andy's team was amazing they created an open floor plan worthy of an award we are truly thankful for their professionalism and their craftsmanship. He came in on time, just like the office said. He fixed the electrical difficulty. Skillfully. I have used them before. I will use them again. This is a very fine organization.

Went very well, everything was done in a timely manner, looks good cleaned up after themselves even went to the store to get me light bulbs. I will definitely use them in the future .

Andy and Steve did excellent work in both kitchens. Drywall extension looks like it's always been there. Custom installation of cooktop and microwave look professional. Each day the workspace was totally cleaned up and we could use the kitchen in between, which I did not expect. So that was a bonus. There was a small issue with the gas line routing and they resolved quickly and efficiently with no extra cost to us. Would recommend and will contact them in the future when we need more kitchen updates and other remodeling jobs around the house.

This was the third bathroom that we have had completely remodeled with HMMH and were not disappointed. Heath was our main guy and as usual did a fantastic job. His skill, attention to detail, and desire to meet our needs were all exceptional. The bathroom was stripped to the studs in some areas and was skillfully put back together. While it was not a fancy remodel, Heath did do some custom wood framing around a large, plain mirror in order to give the whole project a custom look. As with all remodel jobs, there were some small bumps in the road, but Heath always had a plan and a solution. Since we have had several major projects performed by Andy (owner) and his guys, I can also say that he stands by his work. He has been very responsive when I have had questions about previous work that he's done on our house and that's part of why I have used him over and over again. I know that someday my wife will want to redo the kitchen and they will be the first people I call.

I was super impressed with the professionalism right off the bat! I called and within 24 hours I had a call back from Anne. She is also super responsive on email. I gave her my wish list of all the projects I wanted to do with my home. There was an urgent need to have the trim replaced and my condo painted before the delivery of my furniture. She had Martin out to my home the very next day and even accommodated my weird work schedule and he came after hours to go over what was needed to get my quote. I had a very professional and itemized quote via email the next day. I had met with a total of 3 handymen and while the pricing was a bit higher with Mr. Handy Men and Mrs. Helper on some things they were less on others which balanced things out. I was immediately put at ease with Martin and Anne. This was my first time working with a contractor / handyman service and I know nothing other than I needed help from a professional! I am a firm believer you get what you pay for and I am on day 4 with my project and I couldn't be happier with the work that Martin does! He's a perfectionist (as am I) and his work is great! I rush home daily to see the transformation my 1971 condo is going through! The next project is complete remodel of my kitchen... I cannot wait to have Handy Men & Mrs. Helper back out to provide me a quote and to hear the ideas they have to bring my condo out of the 70's!

We own a rental property that had suffered some water damage that was behind a wall. The water had damaged drywall in both the bathroom and master bedroom. The tile and tub in the shower were compromised and the entire bathroom needed to basically be ripped out. Unfortunately for our tenants, this was the only shower in the rental. I called Anne on 10/4 and told her about our situation. Anne is really the most pleasant person to talk to on the phone. She had Andy (the main owner/estimator) come out for an estimate the following day and we were on the schedule for work to start on 10/12. I was so impressed with the response time and the estimate. Andy told me ways to save a little here and there with materials since this is a rental property. All I had to do was choose my tile and grout and he said he'd take care of the rest. Scott was our main contractor and did a great job, while working really quickly due to our situation. The subway tile we chose ended up looking great. Scott did a great job with cleanup and arrived promptly every day at 7:30 to get working after okaying the time with the tenant. Andy and Scott even went out of their way to get some alternate tiles for me to finish the niches in the shower that would work/look better and get our tenants back into their bathroom sooner (rather than making tons of tiny cuts to the tiles I had initially chosen). Rein did the drywall and painted the bedroom for us and did a great job as well. He was fast, did a great job and also clean up was perfect. There was no place where you could tell wet drywall had been cut out and new drywall had been installed. It really did look like it had been there all along. We used Handy Men and Mrs. Helper for our own bathroom remodel back in the spring. They did such an amazing job for us and were so thoughtful and professional I picked up the phone and called them right away when we had this emergency repair situation. The price they charge for the quality of work is very fair. As a woman coordinating this, I sometimes wonder if I'm being taken advantage of at all when hiring for services. I have no worries working with HMMH. I only wish this project had been something "fun" that I could enjoy at my own home, but I was so thankful that I had someone to call who would do a great job and that I could trust. Thanks Anne, Andy, Scott and Rein. You continue to impress me!

I was very pleased with the work Martin and Virgo did. They took extreme care in covering the furniture and floors. They also were able to complete the job in 2 days! I recommend Handy Men & Mrs. Helper and I plan to use their services again for another painting project.

We recently sold our home and downsized to a condo that was in need of a facelift. Andy and his team completely remodeled the kitchen, installing new cabinets, granite countertops, and new flooring. They removed part of a wall to provide an open access and installed cabinets under a small bar area to provide additional storage and work area, which was definitely needed in our small space. They created a kitchen that is now a lovely focal point as well as an efficient use of space. I love it! What's important to note about this experience is that all of this work took place on the third floor of a four story condominium. A lot of coordination needed to take place, not to mention making sure that neighbors in the building were not adversely affected by the remodeling. Andy handled this coordination in both a professional and considerate manner. His work as the project's general contractor provided us with a peace of mind that made all the difference. We knew the remodeling was going to be done well with as little disruption to others as possible. Handy Men and Mrs. Helper provides excellent service at a fair price. They have an experienced, professional and ethical crew to tackle almost any job. They have our unequivocal recommendation.

I used the coupon to have a painter for a day for $399. He did great work, I was very happy with the outcome. He actually finished sooner than I expected.....if I was smarter, I could of had a couple of other smaller projects that I could have gotten done with the coupon....but that was my fault. I've used their service in the past as well and have been very satisfied every time.

Handyman arrived promptly, explained exactly what he was doing and why. Went to buy necessary parts, returned promptly and completed repairs. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the interaction We used this service about six months ago for a porch repair and were extremely pleased with the office which kept in close contact and the repair man who was very efficient and knowledgeable. Because of the great service, we decided to use them again. The office mgr, Anne was wonderful, calling to let us know there was a one day delay because of rain. Both times she maintained close contact, explaining details and answering all question. We would use this provider again, if needed.

To sum my most recent experience with this fine firm up I'll simply say - they are my #1 go-to place for ANY work I need done on my home! The reason is simple - excellence in workmanship and really, really nice people! This was my fourth experience with this firm and once again I was not disappointed. Anne kindly sent EJ to my rescue as my jobs were mostly painting related. First job - I had recently moved and the house had simply not been maintained well. Some idiot screwed the storm door in front directly into a seam where the frame met the main door frame. Of course that started to split the frames apart. EJ filled and patched the split, repositioned the door spring where it should have been and painted. You cannot see the repair at all - beautifully done. Next job was to repair the drywall where taking those big old bathroom mirrors builder love to glue up off the walls. Walls were a total mess! Now, I've done a lot of patching in my time and am pretty good at it - but I was no match for this mess :-) EJ and his partner did a superb job. Literally superb. You cannot tell where the holes were and where the patching started or finished. I believe patching as well as painting walls is an art, and EJ's work is museum quality! The third job was a pergola that the previous owners had never touched and the poor thing had paint peeling and spots where the wood was exposed and cracking. It looks showroom new today! EJ is a really great person; both friendly and professional. And he sure knows his profession! I will admit that Handymen and Mrs. Helper sometimes haven't had the cheapest bid on work I want done, but I make no decisions until I get their bid and I've still gone with them. There is simply no replacement for high quality workmanship AND high quality people doing it. If the estimates were way different I would still talk with Anne before making a final decision. I have complete trust in their team to do a superb job and having had shoddy work from people before finding Handymen and Mrs. Helper taught me cost is only a part of the deal...spending days re-doing or touching up work is just not what I pay for. Sorry for the long review, but I am SOOOOO happy, once again, with the workmanship and finished job I just had to gush a bit! :-)
