Took too long to give us the estimate to put in a bathroom countertop and faucets. When we did receive it, it was way too much. We told them "No, thank you,"

They came out quickly, but the quote took over two weeks to arrive. By that point I went a different direction.

It went very well. Scott was on time everyday. He was very personable and fun to work with. He is a very hard worker and does excellent work. We ran into some material problems, but he worked around them just fine. This company is great to work with. We will be using them again in the future as we have a lot of projects to be done. Thanks for everything, I love my new bathroom.

They were wonderful. They delivered on time and as expected. Handyman and Mrs. Helper have been wonderful to do business with.

We have used this company before and they always do a beautiful job. They work very quickly and do not leave a mess.

The work was done excellently. It involved removing paneling that went around a corner and also a dropped ceiling. The wall was restored today and looks exactly the way it did before the procedure. He was on time,polite and very neat. Outstanding service.

They did a good job cleaning all the junk out of the gutters, not sure last time they were cleaned. They were on time and cleaned up everything before they left, the serviceman pointed out some brackets that will need to be replaced and recommend I have the tree trimmed.

It went well from start to finish. Painter was excellent and cleaned up very well. I would definitely use them again.

They never showed for the estimate. This was after pinging them again to even schedule a quote. Going with someone else.

Handymen did a great job with the basement renovation. Not only did they deliver quality work but I appreciated their responsiveness and willingness to make sure we were satisfied. They did a great job of keeping us updated on the progress of the work and they were very fair in pricing.

Not well, won't do business with a company that can't even make one phone call!

HMMH was hired to do a complete kitchen remodel. I had previously used another remodel company for our master BR, and even though the outcome was excellent, I was not comfortable with having to only use that company's vendors (cabinets, tile, accessories). I felt there were many hidden costs and not a lot of flexibility if there were choices that were sub-optimal. While HMMH have their own suppliers for cabinets, countertops, flooring, they let you use your supplier if you prefer to do so. Andy, the owner of the company, was involved from the first visit. He is an excellent contractor - prompt, professional, thorough and very pleasant to work with. Since he already knew we were going to renovate our entire kitchen, the initial visit included people who handled cabinets, flooring and design. Measurements were done and options were provided. There were some unexpected issues, and Andy would do his research into potential solutions prior to presenting us with the task at hand. Therefore, he would offer different viable solutions when problems arose. HIs crew is excellent - prompt, hardworking and meticulous. Heath provided excellent service in demolition, cabinets/appliance installation and tile work. Martin was great with his duct work. Andy subcontracted with excellent companies for electrical and plumbing work. Ginger was very helpful with design ideas and helping us obtain a stainless steel backsplash. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the outcome. It was a job worth the money and the peace of mind with HMMH was invaluable. We would love to use them for our next project.

Absolutely wonderful! This may be the best experience we have ever had with a service provider. On time - quality of work PERFECT - really really pleasant to work with. HIGHLY recommend. They were the second most expensive but In retrospect, totally worth it. Sometimes you actually do get what you pay for!!! Can't go wrong with this firm.

Scott was wonderful. He did all the work and taught me about what he was doing, what I should watch for, what I could do, etc. The work was not easy as the things he replaced were very old and corroded.

This was one of the BEST experiences we have ever had with a contractor. Urnest was on time for our estimate, the job was completed on time and PERFECTLY. Cannot sing their praises enough.

I had my master bathroom remodeled ten years ago and never was happy with the outcome. This time was a totally different experience. At this point it is 90 percent complete but I am so happy with the results. Handyman and Mrs. Helper is truly a full service company. Andy assessed what I wanted and provided the quote, Ginger was invaluable in her design advice and Heath who performed most of the work was great. All the services were performed as promised. Everyone was professional, incredibly nice with a sense of humor thrown in for good measure and the work itself was extremely well done.

Handy Men & Mrs. Helper were hired to remove a 28-year old deck, reinstall new decking, and install a hard-top steel gazebo. The work went well with a few hiccups. Dan was scheduled to arrive on a Monday but the forecast was for rain that day so Dan did not come in. He came in on Tuesday and started dismantling the old deck. The work stopped when Dan was struck in the face by a board that popped up when he was trying to remove it. He did not return the next day because of the injury to his face. Dan returned on Thursday, only to find a nest of opossums – one mother and ten babies – under the deck. Needless to say, Dan was not happy and the mother opossum was not happy. Dan left until I could get someone out to remove the nest. Suburban Wildlife Control came out that afternoon and removed all the opossums. Dan returned on Friday but the forecast was for rain so no work was done. Dan was supposed to return on Tuesday after the holiday but once again all work was stopped because of rain. Dan returned on Wednesday and continued dismantling old deck and started framing in additional rafter supports, posts, and railings. Once again, it rained all day Thursday. Dan spent the next three days completing all the posts, railings, and trim. Wednesday Dan installed all the decking. No work was done the following day due to more rain. On Friday Dan and Martin returned to set up the gazebo. Work went well and within 5 hours the gazebo was up and the deck was completed. I have worked with Handy Men & Mrs. Helper previously and am always more than satisfied with their work and their staff. The workers are professionals in their field of expertise, are always polite and courteous, and finish all work as required. This project took a little bit longer than planned due to Dan’s first day injury, the nest of opossums, and many days of rain. Because we were working with using as much of the old deck support structure as possible, the actual work on the deck was more complicated than originally thought so some additional time was required. My deck and gazebo are beautiful and I could not be more pleased with the results. Handy Men & Mrs. Helper have once again done a great job.

I called for someone to come and give me an estimate and the person that I spoke to first tried to put me off 2 months and then acted like my job was too small to come out to my home for an estimate.. She finally said she would e-mail me an estimate. I never received a return call, an e-mail estimate or any correspondence. Apparently, they do not need the work or future work. Also, it appears that contrary to their claim "there are jobs too small".

Handy Men and Mrs. Helper was one of two vendors on Angie's List that we met with regarding the remodeling of our master bath which was approximately 26 years old. We decided to go with Handy Men (HMMH) because we felt Andy, the owner, could offer us some flexibility in determining how much we wanted to do with the remodel and provide what we wanted. As it turned out we went with a total rehab (down to the studs). They gave us various options and also provided a design consultant, Ginger, who was extremely helpful and great to work with. Most importantly, HMMH provided us with an exceptional contractor, Heath, who did the majority of the remodeling work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and all the tile work. He also was great to work with and we were were blown away by his attention to detail and overall skills. In addition to the bathroom remodel, HMMH, also provided us with new closet doors in the master bedroom leading to the master bath. We were happy with all the vendors that they work with. We chose to visit the vendors individually and pick out all the materials for the job. The final painting of the master bath, closet doors and walls were also provided by HMMH. . End result was fantastic! We are completely satisfied with the remodeling job. Andy, the owner, was wonderful to work with and has put together a great company. We would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future if needed.

I have worked with Handy Men and Mrs. Helper on several previous occasions for repairs around my home. This project entailed the renovation of my kitchen and two bathrooms. The work done included the removal and replacement of cabinets and vanities in the kitchen and bathrooms, the removal and installation of light fixtures, the removal and installation of toilets, required electrical work and plumbing work needed to install light fixtures and plumbing fixtures, and dry walling and painting of each of the rooms involved. This did not include the purchase of appliances, fixtures, cabinets, or countertops. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the work done by Handymen and Mrs. Helper (HMMH). Andy, President of the company and Project Manager, and his “Band of Merry Men” (and women) included Anne, the Office Manager; Ginger, the Designer; Rein, the drywall and paint aficionado; and Scott, the carpenter/electrician/plumber extraordinaire. The entire team worked to make a very unsettling project as pleasant as possible. I was told who would be coming to work at my home and when they would be there. Some work was even done on Saturdays so that the project could continue moving along. They were professional, competent, courteous, accommodating, and just all around wonderful to work with. HMMH always provides very knowledgeable, qualified people to do the work and that makes a big difference in the end result. I made some errors in my selection of kitchen cabinets, and they rolled with the punches when I delayed the project by two weeks in order to get replacement cabinets. I highly recommend Handymen and Mrs. Helper for any repairs or renovations you might have. They are the best. I already have them working on another project and have a third in mind for later this summer.

I was barely able to describe my needs, and these team still knew how to figure out problems and wishes and left out house beautiful.

We had a gutted bathroom that had been sitting there unused for a while. Andy gave us a price that worked, even coming down a bit when I said it was a bit steep. Steve did a fantastic job installing shower, floors, toilet, etc. Was always there when he said he would be there and worked extremely efficiently. The quality was excellent. Martin was there for two days and did outstanding work in finishing the walls, mudding and taping. I would highly recommend Handy Men and Mrs. Helper and will definitely be using them again. Very happy.

This is the 2nd time that I am working with Handymen & Mrs. Helper. They are very professional and work with you to maximize your budget. My kitchen was so outdated! Straight from 1970's. Andy came in and he was able to help me realize the unused space I had and developed a fantastic layout that provided much more and much needed storage and work space! This was a full remodel, everything was ripped out of the kitchen and all new went back in its place! Andy's team was punctual and worked fast to complete the task for that day. There was some issues with leveling the floor so that my wood/laminate flooring could be laid but they were up for the challenge and they were able to get the job done. They were very mindful of the mess a full remodel makes and covered everything with tarps to ensure the dust was minimal. The end result is just stunning! I love my kitchen! Handymen & Mrs. Helper made a dream 5 years in the making a reality! I am so impressed with their work I would never think of working with anyone else when it comes to my home!
