It went fine, I had a leaky faucet and Stan replaced it.

All arrangements were made in advance by phone. The plumber arrived on time and performed the work we discussed. The work was completed in a timely manner and so far, no follow-up has been required.

He was terrific. Polite, prompt, flexible. He did some special searches among his suppliers to try to find what I was looking for, and advised me on my options. He gave me sound advice on other items he noticed in the house, as well as quotes on "nice to have" changes I might want to make in the future. One or two items he called out as safety risks that he noticed on my water heater. He did a fantastic job in my opinion, I look forward to having him resolving any future plumbing issues! He's extremely professional and capable.

Stan understood the problem and gave me an estimated cost before doing the work. He was able to fix the problem quickly and was very professional throughout the process.

We have never had any complaints. Stan is always available, very reasonable, and does what he says. He always cleans up too!

Mr. Halan was extremely knowledgable and fair. He originally came out for an estimate and did not charge us until work was actually done. He was flexible with scheduling and prompt on the day of service. Although it took longer to replace and repair than he had expected, he did a fine job. Our faucet and pipes were originally installed wrong, so he did his best to repair and adjust them the right way. I appreciate the work he did for us.

Mr. Halan arrived at our home when promised. He was very personable and professional and installed the new faucet in approximately 45 minutes. My wife and I are very happy with the work he performed. We would definitely hire him again for any more plumbing work that we need.

This was a great experience. Mr. Halan called me right away to schedule a time to come. He worked with my schedule and arrived promptly at the arranged time. He repaired everything I asked for and pointed out some other helpful things to thoroughly complete the job. He worked efficiently and cleaned up after the work was done. He was very pleasant. I am planning to have him come back and install a new faucet in another bathroom.

Both repairs were fast, reasonable and effective. I especially appreciate the fact that the Halan rep took the conservative approach with my utility sink - the fixtures were cheap to begin with, and will need to be replaced at some point most likely, but he did a small fix that has fixed the leak I was having, without having to replace a bunch of hardware. Excellent and professional service, I won't hesitate to call them again.

Found the leak and fixed it

My garbage disposal suddenly developed a leak, and after checking Angie's list I found a recommended plumber very nearby. He was able to replace the disposal on the following day, as well as a bathroom toilet handle which I had planned to replace myself. He was very prompt in responding to my call, and was right on time the following day. He was also careful in being very clean and neat in his repair work. I was thoroughly pleased with Halan & Company.

We had water leaking out of the bottom of the toilet tank. I called Stan on a Friday afternoon and he came out first thing on Saturday morning. He knew right away what the problem was, and explained everything he was doing as he went along. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He works quickly and efficiently. He also replaced a part of the handle that was alright for now, but looked like it probably would need replacing before long. This is the second time I have used Halan & Co Plumbing, and I will definitely use him again. It is this kind of excellent service that I belong to Angie's list for.

Found Stan on Angie's list and called him. He called back within minutes of my message and said he'd come out the same day. He was polite and was eager to help. Stan called before he left the site he was working on so I had ample time to plan for his arrival. With small children, this was nice touch to assist me in planning for their naps and keeping them busy while he worked in their play area. He arrived in the timeframe he said he would and was eager to start immediately. He worked quickly with little chit chat out of respect to my time and the cost of his labor charges. He was incredibly respectful of the children and ensuring that they were safe around his work materials. He made them comfortable with him being in their house. He was neat and worked without making any extra mess around the house (inside or out). He seemed knowledgable and worked hard to get the work done.

I phoned Mr. Halan in the morning and he returned my call promptly. He was able to come to my home the next day Mr. Halan was finished with the job within an hour. I appreciated his effort to do the repairs with as little expense to me as possible and still do a good job. I also appreciated his attitude of professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely recommend Halan & Co. to anyone needing plumbing repairs.

Stan Hanlan came over last week and gave me a quote. He suggested that it would be cheaper to replace the section of copper pipe with 2" PVC pipe and just use rubber adapters/gaskets to connect the PVC to the good copper pipe. He gave me a quote and we scheduled a time for Stan to come back. I had to move the time a bit on the day we scheduled, and he was very accommodating. He showed up on time, and since I was home, did a nice job of explaining what he was doing and way it had to be done that way. He put up plastic sheets and used drop cloths & buckets to limit any mess. He did a very good job, and cleaned up the area nicely. Very pleasent to work with, and honest & upfront.

A very pleasant experience. Mr. Halan called back shorty after I left a message. He wasn't available that day, but we made an appointment for the next morning. He arrived on time and was very conscienteous and great with putting down a drop cloth to work on. Everything looks great and works great. I will definately call him again with any future plumbing needs. Super all the way around!

The above being said, I called Mr. Halan, the second job this past year, and told him about the frozen faucet that no longer was mobil from one tub to the other. He appraised the situation in one visit and came up with two modes of installation. He first needed to remove the old frozen faucet. This task was finese and strength intensive. That was done successfully and with big sighs of relief he proceeded to install the totally new brass faucet, secure it in a new way to replace the old way, which was no longer feasable since the new faucet was a different configuration. It looks great, functions perfectly and as usual Mr. Halan left the area clean and looking good for a couple of more decades. Old habits die hard, such as fifty years of enjoying my two large tubs and having a simple faucet being able to function on both sides. Several plumbers wanted me to go for a single light weight tub and a one tub faucet. I'm happy that I gave Mr. Halan timeto think about the project and allowed him to come up with a solution. It was a challange. I am happy. My conclusion is that too often we, the consumers, don't spend enough time to find the right plumber for the job. They have the right to say that that job is not their cup of tea. Continue the search.

Mr. Halan was on time showed concern and care for not tracking and foot dirt in my home and got right to work to complete the job. I would call him again to complete any other plumbing work needed.

Stan called me back immediatly after I lett a message, in fact when he did not get a hold of me that day he called again on Monday. I talked to him over the phone about the problem and he said the sofit would probaly have to be replaced and it would take him a few hours. He did inspect it first to see if he could just fix it but it needed to be replaced and he did so quickly and quote was exactly as he told me. I will definetly use him again, very nice guy!
