Stan was so easy going and explained everything. He was thorough and explained why the cost was going to be much more than a simple sump pump replacement. The sump pump outlet placement was insecure and was at risk of becoming dislodged so he replaced it and secured it. The sump pump put was also filthy and he cleaned out the whole thing. He worked above and beyond what I believe most plumbers would do and is very reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend Stan - he does great work, is professional and takes pride in his work. He has done a couple of jobs for us including fixing a faucet - one of the parts wasn't easily available but Stan kept looking until he tracked down a part that would work. It's nice when you find someone you trust - we will be using Halan Plumbing in the future.

He has done about a half dozen repairs and installations of various things. We use them a lot. Stan, he is great. I wouldn't use anybody else. He was here for a couple hours. Between the service and the fact that we can get him on fairly short notice and he is responsive. You get what you pay for and we are very happy with what we pay for and what we get in return. Stan showed up promptly, gave me a quick estimate after assessing the work that would be needed, and then got to work. He was able to make the repair without having to open the wall up and walked me through what he did when he was finished. On top of that, he was a really personable and friendly guy. Mr. Halan was extremely punctual about getting back to us whenever we telephoned, and arrived when he said he would. He was very efficient in doing his work and was honest with us about what was needed. In particular, I thought we probably needed a new faucet, but Mr. Halan was able to replace the cartridge in the existing faucet, and took great care making it operate better than I remember it working when new. He also noticed the sink drain was not working correctly and fixed that as well. I would definitely hire Mr. Halan back for any future plumbing we need done. Costs matched other estimates I got.

In discussion on the phone, they were open, honest and full of advice about how I could consider making the repair myself. Rather than charge me for a service call, they encouraged me to try the repair myself after I described the unsuccessful effort I had made on my own prior to the call. Their professional, detailed suggestions were a great help and I appreciate the advice. I was subsequently successful and didn't need their services, but happy to have their opinion first.

Stan is great. He is so knowledgable and does very high quality work. He also got to the work fairly quickly rather than days out which is so nice!!! Will use this company again for any plumbing needs.

Went great.... called Stan Halan on Mon afternoon and he returned my call that evening. He arrived on time the following day, completed the work, cleaned up, and finished within a coupe hours. I bought this house a couple months ago and he took the time to walk me through the general plumbing, pointing out things I should keep an eye on. He'll be my go-to plumber going forward.

Stan is great. I have used him before many times. He's on time, good with a little dog following him around. He has installed a back up sump pump and fixed leaks here. I wouldn't hesitate to call him back.

Stan always does a great job, is very knowledgeable, has reasonable rates and is just an all-around nice man. He came out quickly to our rental property on Saturday when we discovered the toilet was leaking the day new tenants were moving in! We have had three different plumbing companies respond to our request to do whatever necessary to make watering the backyard plants possible again. Each time the person would install a new faucet saying that we must be rough on faucets. Usually after two weeks we would again be without water for the backyard. This time I checked Angie's List and contacted Stan Halan. He gave us an estimate of the cost before coming to our house and the final amount was a little less! We almost wanted to take a photo of us standing with Mr. Halan because he is a REAL plumber!

Stan is our regular plumber because he is very professional, prompt, and solves our problems. His rates are very reasonable and he doesn't try to sell you on work that you don't need at the time.

We thought we needed a new toilet and were prepared to replace ours. Stan replaced a gasket or something of the sort and fixed the problem without having to replace the toilet! We spent a lot less than anticipated! He was quick with the repairs and punctual. For any plumbing needs, we'll be calling Stan!

I called Stan at 2:30 this afternoon to tell him that our sump pump had died. He came over at 5:30 (on a Friday) and replaced the sump pump and seal around it. I was extremely thankful that he could come so quickly and fix our sump pump!! He is always so kind and professional and reasonable with his rates. I will definitely be using his services in the future and refer him to friends!

Stan did excellent, efficient and timely job. Entire service call was about 30min. Just a big hair ball stuck 20-25ft. down piping. Stan is a very pleasant service provider to work with.
