He was very, very good and very professional. He informed me at all times what he was doing and explained things. He also showed me how the parts worked.

Their estimate was accurate. They got back to me immediatley. They were very careful about keeping my house clean - like taking their shoes off. They were polite, honest and came prepared. It was a bit of an emergency situation and they were able to come right out the next day so their responsiveness was great. They had it installed in a timely manner and I thought they did a really good job.

Mr. Halan looked over what I had, talked to me about my options, gave me another phone call when there was a better backup on sale and completed all of the work within one day. I would definitely use them again.

We clearly had a leak - or so we thought. Whenever water was turned on upstairs (where bedrooms and bathrooms are), there was a distinguished DRIP, DRIP, DRIP coming through the wall. We could never find any water/leak, however. Mr. Halan was thorough in his investigation. It turns out there was no leak; rather, Mr. Halan discovered the pipes are rubbing against a wooden 2x4 making the noise, much like a cricket makes noise when it rubs its legs together. What a relief!

He came at the time he told me and on the same day I had called him. He cleaned up after himself very good as he disposed of the broken pump from the basement.

Stan and his son promptly arrived, took off their shoes & didn't mind showing me his current credentials & licenses. They asked a few questions, listened well and then I gave them a tour of the main plumbing areas (bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room and pipes in the basement). It took approx. 45 minutes to inspect and diagnose the problem. The last thing they wanted to do was start drilling holes in the wall, so they tried to inspect carefully and thoroughly. After they removed the kick plate on the dishwasher, we saw all the water toward the back and felt confident that this was the leak. The leak was caused by a copper water pipe which was resting against an iron piece and caused the copper pipe to erode. They didn't have the part on them, so they went to the store and fixed it in no time at all with a flexible tube that will not erode. They didn't mind my questions, were respectful of the house and provided an overall pleasant experience. His estimate was fair and accurate and he even made a few suggestions on how best to clean up the mess. I would gladly work with them again. Thank you for help.

It is a father and Son business. They are very thourough and friendly. They are prompt when you call. They give you an estimate and are upfront.

We discovered that our toilet was not fastened down properly and were worried about it causing other damage. He replaced the wax seals, replaced the supply line which was bent and caulked the toilet in place. We have used him on numerous projects in our house in addition to this one. He is always on time, fair in his pricing and a very hard worker. We will use him for all of our plumbing needs.

Went perfectly. I called him in the AM and he was able to fit me in and fixed the problem the same day I called him.

I called Stan & left a message, he called back within an hour. We set up an appointment, he showed up on time. He explained everything he was going to do and gave me prices of each item. He worked neatly and efficiently. I would certainly use him again.

I arrived home one evening to water pouring from my kitchen ceiling, directly below our master bathroom, with no obvious cause in sight. Being new to the home and area, I looked up plumbers in Angie's List. I put in a call to Halan at 6:30 PM, left a message on their answering machine, and had a call back within 20 minutes, followed by his arrival on my door step a half-hour later, with the problem identified and resolved shortly there after. Amazing response and he could not have been more cordial and helpful, considering I had two kids and two dogs watching his every move. Would highly recommend Halan and plan to use their services in the future.

Stand and his son arrived punctually. They evaluated the leaky sink and pinpointed two causes; (1) The sprayer hose was leaking through its base and (2) the valve in the faucet was not working properly and was also leaking. They went to the local home improvement store for the replacement parts. The home improvement store did not have the correct size for the sprayer hose, so they also had to go to the neighborhood home improvement store. They came back with the correct size sprayer hose in the correct color (white). Stan and his son made the repairs/replacements. That was several days ago, and there has been no further leaking. In addition, the kitchen faucet is much easier to operate now, requiring much less force to turn it on and off. Not only this, but Stan gave me a kind of cover to place on top of the garbage disposal free of charge. It allows food to enter the disposal, but it does not allow forks, spoons, and other utensils. It works perfectly.

Called them for a service call and was told that they busy today and next week and that I should call someone else. Glad handed.

I think that they did a good job. they are better than previous plumbers that I have used and I would definitely use them again in the future. they were polite and easy to work with. They did answer all my questions and concerns that I had.

I liked there service they called in the morning to let me know they were on their way. They covered their feet so they wouldn't soil the carpet. They also fixed the slow sink that didn't cost me any extra.

After discovering water throughout the crawl space, and suspecting that the sump pump had malfunctioned, I called Halen Plumbing based on Angie's List reviews. Stan Halan returned my call within half an hour and arrived at my home with his son Matt less than an hour later. They confirmed that no pipes were leaking and that a sump pump malfunction was most likely the cause. Stan suggested that they could try to repair the pump, but since the pump was already 10-15 years old, I opted for a new pump. Stan and Matt completed the job promptly, were very professional and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Having had a handyman in the family to do such repairs until recently, I haven't had any much need for contractors of any sort but these guys seemed very honest and trustworthy. In terms of cost, I don't have much to compare to, but their prices seem reasonable.

I liked everything about them. They were courteous, prompt, and provided good work. I had to call them back once and they came within the 1/2 hour. They actually did not charge their original estimate because the job ended up not being as bad.

Stan and his son, Matt, did a great job. My reason for calling Halan Plumbing was to repair a broken outdoor faucet. They had to go through an interior wall to reach the problem and did so with a minimum amount of cutting through the wall. In the process of this repair, they found a problem with the plumbing for the toilet that was causing the flooding in the bathroom. Since they had the time when these repairs were made I asked them to replace my kitchen faucet. This was not an easy task. The original faucet was very difficult to remove because of logistics. They eventually had to use an electric saw to remove part of it. I can't say enough about Stan and Matt. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Was originally quoted $300 to repair the broken outdoor faucet. The added cost to replace the kitchen faucet was $200, and the balance was for the repair to the toilet. I've already talked to Stan about plumbing work to be done in remodeling another bathroom.
