Erik did all the work himself--removal and cleaning on one day, and installation of the new guards a few days later. The new guards appear to be holding up well -- much better than the old ones. The look is better, too.

Some woodpeckers had decided to take up residence in my attic, making multiple holes in the siding. I must note that this was on a wall that had siding all the way up to an attic gable peak, and the ground under that was sloping both down and outward. Not the most favorable footing for ladders. I called various carpentry handymen, none would work on such a small job. I then decided to make the siding repair part of a paint job, which I also needed. Again I called various painting contractors, none of which could fix the siding. Erik's Painting came to the rescue. He said siding repair would not be a problem. His men also would refurbish the door and garage framing. He quoted $10000 for the painting and siding replacement, and $1200 for the deck painting. Due to the lateness of my request, they replaced the siding in the fall, but were unable to paint. In the spring we were his first job. He was very thorough about scraping (there was a lot of loose paint I didn't even know about) and priming. I told him and use the best paint, which he said should last 10 years. Since this was early in the spring, I worried about temperatures, but he only painted on nice days. The colder days were used for scraping.

Erik does a really nice job with painting services. He will also branch out into "special projects" in other areas such as carpentry, etc. His painting services are great, really professional, clean looking results. In other areas, his team does and adequate job but wouldn't consider them expert carpenters but the results were still good. Over the years we have had Erik paint several room do small jobs etc and would always consider using him again. His pricing (IMHO) is a bit on the high side but you get what you pay for and it is probably worth the extra money to know he will do a good job rather than take your changes with someone cheaper.

It went great! We originally hired Erik to clean our gutters and we like him so much we had him install gutter guards over those high gutters. Shortly after that we had a flood in the basement and needed paneling and drywall repair, as well as painting. He is the first contractor we've hired (and we have hired alot of them!) who showed up when he said he would and ON TIME! Every day he said he was coming...he came! Anyone who has experience with contractors will tell you that's VERY unusual! We then hired him to paint our aluminum siding! It has been faded and in bad shape and Erik recommended painting it! For a fraction of the cost of new siding our house went from being the worst on the block to looking brand new! Erik and his crew were nice, polite, professional, very accomplished and all-around fantastic. It was a positive experience from start to finish!

I found them very easy to communicate with and all of the workers were friendly. They left no mess at all and I'm having them back to do some more work.
