It was great from the first call with Chris and throughout the entire job with his crew. We had some repair work and it turned out perfect. They were all very professional and clean.

The house was power washed several days before arrival and then additional preparation and board replacement was completed before painting. We were totally satisfied with the application of the paint and the quality of the finished product. The entire crew was extremely professional and courteous. Cleaned up was perfect. The price point was extremely competitive. My rating would be an A+. I will be sure to hire again for the next painting projects.

I originally posted the D review as Chris was initially lacking in follow up to schedule my painting. He went above and beyond to remedy the situation and instantly scheduled me for prompt service. The quality was perfect, his crew was professional, and I am super satisfied. They were super efficient also. I will use him again.

Chris and Tom did an amazing job. They were clean, efficient, and cost effective. I will absolutely be using them again for my next painting job.

It went very well-this company is very professional, clean and neat- and were on time-and finished on time as well.... My kitchen looks beautiful..... And I plan on having this company paint the rest of my projects...... Chris the owner was present-had a man painting with him who has been a painter for over 20 some odd years, extremely accurate painter..... Chris is good with wood details, my bead board looks amazing (-_-)..... The estimate was right on target as well....... All in all, CY Painting Inc. is a "10".......

Chris and his team did a wonderful job. They are very thorough, neat, professional and affordable. I originally asked for prices from four painters, including CY Painting. CY Painting's price was well below the other quotes. We first had Chris remove wallpaper and paint the stairway. He did it in one day, where other painters said it would take two days and quoted twice what Chris quoted. Then we asked him to paint three rooms and the ceiling of another room. He brought a crew of three men. They covered furniture and floors and prepped the walls and ceiling thoroughly before they painted. Our walls and ceiling look great. They even moved some of our heavy furniture back for us before they left. We are going to have them paint the trim and baseboards next. I won't call anyone else. I highly recommend CY Painting.

They completed the job of painting the home but I had to keep a watchful eye on them to make sure that they completed all woodwork. In one instance instead of replacing the wood they put in wood putty ???? Hire at your own risk

Excellent, everything was on par and we are very happy with the work.

Chris and his partner did an excellent job painting my daughter's bedroom and ceiling. They even re-painted the trim in the room with paint I had in the basement, which helped the room really shine. The job was done quickly and at a reasonable price.

Work was not performed. I spoke with Chris on the phone, and he said he would get back to me. After that, he would not answer his phone, nor did he respond to an e-mail. I don't know if he didn't want the job because it was not the biggest, but I thought he would at least be considerate enough to let me know that. I honestly don't understand why this happened, as he has good reviews on Angie's List. But I thought it was unprofessional enough that it warranted mention. (Other companies did get back to me, and I am always incredibly respectful, so I can't imagine it was anything I said. If it were, he should have at least let me know that.)

We got off to a slow start due to weather. Once the crew arrived they were great. All soffets and fascia were power washed, primed and painted as were our new shutters (the crew mounted them too). Once the exterior was finished they moved inside. the walls were cleaned, drywall was repaired and sanded as needed (no dust - they used a HEPA vacuum) and painted. While we moved most of the furniture as needed for the day the crew did need to move some thing and were extremely careful. The results were spectacular. On top of all this we have 3 cats and 2 dogs none of which were a problem. Chris' crew was excellent - the results showed. I would definately use them again.

Chris and his crew do great work. They showed up on-time and were ready to work as soon as they stepped in the door. I decided to hire out painters due to the vaulted ceilings and difficulty of painting around cabinets in the kitchen. The job would have taken me months since I only would have Sunday's available to DIY. A crew of 4 came in and did this in under 6 hours. They took down curtains, light fixtures, and hanging lights in the ceiling and replaced everything after painting. They even went above and beyond and used a extra paint can from the basement to touch up a wall that I painted earlier in the year that I could not reach due where it was placed above a stairway (I didn't even need to ask!). Highly recommended hiring these guys to do your painting.

Chris and team are absolutely the best. I would highly recommend CY for all your painting needs. He did this hard job in a few days and the results are fantastic. The boards in the deck were really needing of repair as the last owner just painted over. CY had to cut new lumber and replace a significant part of the lower level screen in porch. He also provided us cost saving options and helped us plan for future.

From start to finish Chris and his crew where great. Very pleased on all levels. Highly recommend them!!

Chris did a fantastic job! We are thrilled with the results. He arrived on time, prepared and ready to work. He completed the project in about 8 hours as he estimated. He cleaned up thoroughly and left us the extra paint. He was very polite and easy to work with. We will definitely use him again, and recommend him to others.

I can't say enough great things about Chris & CY Painting! He arrived on time, moved the furniture that needed to be moved, covered everything with drop cloths before beginning the job. He did the repairs and painting in half a day. The lines where the ceiling and walls meet are nice and straight, and our kitchen looks great! Afterward, he cleaned up and put everything back where it belonged. Chris has the qualities that are very difficult to find these days - he's honest, reasonable, reliable, courteous, professional and very skilled at his craft. In the future, he will be our first choice! Highly recommend!!

They were very professional the whole time they were here, answered any questions I had, timely and followed through on everything they said they would do. They moved any furniture away from the walls and had everything covered to avoid getting messy. Overall they did a great job!

The 2 gentleman that came out were very friendly, nice and polite. They did a great job. I was very happy with the service I received.

Chris first came by for an appraisal of the job. A few days later he submitted a comprehensive and excellently priced quote. I had to wait 4 weeks for the crew to be available but it was well worth it. Chris, Jimmy and Keith worked quickly and efficiently to move all furniture and prep the walls the first day. The second and third days they did an amazing job. Each day I came home it was like walking into a new place. I am extremely happy and am planning my next project for the guys. Finding this company has made my membership to Angie's List all worth it.
