BOB'S LANDSCAPING SERVICE

They came for spring cleanup and supposedly seeded at the end. But I couldn't see any seeds and after a couple of days of rain, my front and back yard was basically mud. So I went out and bought grass seed and re-seeded. After that the grass started to grow. Bob the owner, seems to be a pleasant person, but the crews he has working for him do not speak english so it was difficult to communicate and tell them what was needed. I had to call Bob and leave messages. Sometimes they edged and sometimes they didn't. They didn't trench so now I have grass growing past the bricks into the plant beds. I have a fence in the front yard and when they were cutting the grass by the fence they kept hitting the fence until finally one of the spokes broke. Bob came out and fixed it, but they continued to do the same thing. So I called Bob and told him to tell them not to cut around the fence. I would do it. They didn't cut the grass short enough so when they left, you couldn't tell the grass had been cut. All that was done was the wheels of the lawn mower smashed down the grass. And, there was no weed control or grub control. So after the season was over I told Bob we didn't need their services any longer. If you just have a plain yard with nothing special - no fences no plants you care about - then use them.
