The Maids of Aurora

Once again, the owner has attitude, and cancelled on me. After several emails and phone calls, calling a MONTH IN advance to schedule an appointment, and booking it. He calls the next day and cancels it saying he doesn't have availability. I really wanted to give them a chance, but I had a similar experience last time I used them. The owner says a lot of "I don't know why they did that". Well then, don't use a service through the franchise if they misrepresent your availability and book appointments for you if they are not doing it right. You are just wasting everyone's time. He said he is calling the next day, and yes, I made a lot of plans around that date.

They did a very thorough job and I would use them again but I found a very good cleaning service for a lower cost.

Service is good in general, prompt when scheduled, but Bruce won't contact you via phone, except to take credit card payment or to give you a quote. All else is done via email, but he won't put quotes in emails, then what he tells you on the phone is different each time. Price is a little iffy, I feel like I have to watch the cleaners like a hawk and document in and out time....because the charge always seem to more than what I think, by what I noted. A lot of standing around at the end, which Bruce charges for. I never argued about it, but I don't feel comfortable about the extra claim of time and thus cost, esp. when I am there. Despite all that, I still was happy with service when it could be arranged. However, Bruce is hard to work with, if you ask questions or request more info on a service, time, adjustments, he doesn't respond. It takes him ove a week to respond...too bad. Bruce...why do you do this? I would have been a loyal customer. I don't appreciate the lack of communication! It's been almost 2 weeks since my last communication, and I have been trying to set a cleaning for over a month. I hope you are not blowing off people due to the holiday, and then will want their business in January/February when it is slow. That is a very bad business practice.

Very thorough! Everything looks great when done and house doesn't smell like massive cleaning fluids were being used. Yep - they are a bit pricey - but the best cleaning we have ever gotten! Highly recommend!

Took about 2 hours, 3 people. Very nice on phone when I was setting up appointment. Timely arrival, excellent cleaning job, but $300? Way too much! I usually pay another cleaning company $120 for every other week cleaning. Maids of Aurora were definitely better, but just too expensive for me to hire again.

The Maids are very reliable and efficent. We depend on them to give a thorough cleaning to our 2.5 story home every three weeks. Normally the just to the 1st and 2nd floors. However, upon request, they will dust and vaccuum the basement and/or the attic and no additional cost. They are very flexible when it comes to changes in the schedule. We try to keep this to a minimum but sometimes things change and they are very cooperative when conflicts arise. We have not used them for window cleaning or any other services but I would certainly give them consideration should the need arise.

They were excellent! They were very thorough and did an excellent job. They were very professional and their price was reasonable.

The team did an amazing job cleaning, though they came in on the highest end of their estimate, and even went a little over. Our house is roughly 2500 square feet, and so the price is fair but on the high end. I would definitely use them again, but only for a spring cleaning not regularly due to the high cost.

They arrived on time and cleaned exactly as promised.

I was pleased with their service. It was a little expensive but they did a good job. They didn't pressure me about scheduling my next monthly visit which I appreciated.

I use them every week. They will be coming shortly. I spend between $175 and $200 a week on them. If you can afford them, they do a great job. They are very expensive, but they are in and out quickly. They clean the house really well. I like them and I would definitely recommend them. They do an excellent job. I am not sure if they can be any cheaper because they do such a good job. They always call a day before coming out. I have a summer house and I use them to clean it as well. I would continue to use them in the future.

They are very good. There were 4 ladies and a supervisor. They each had a division of the work to do. They completed the whole house in one and a half hours on the follow up visit. I am very pleased.

Bruce the owner is wonderful and follows through. The maids are fantastic and remarkably thorough. They do not over look anything. We continue to use them.
