Arun and his crew were wonderful! Arrived on time each day and worked hard the entire day. Arun did a complete walk thru to get information for our estimate and then went with us throughout the entire yard the day of our remake, confirming what we wanted done and explained why some things we wanted may not have worked and made suggestions as to how to make it work. His crew was very professional and courteous. I cannot express how happy we are with the final outcome of our "new" yard. We will have them out again in the fall to replant some peonies and as well as work on the lawn (reseeding) and fall cleanup. Thank you Arun and crew!

They were prompt, curtious, and cleaned up after themselves. The owner, Arun, is very knowledgable and has many great ideas. I am having them come agan in the Fall to help again.

As new homeowners we were wary of the landscaping process. We knew we needed a 'clean slate' as the previous homeowner had let everything in the yard get out of control. From the get-go Arun was a top notch professional. Calls were returned promptly, estimates arranged and communication via phone and email was continuous through entire process. Arun understood our goal and made appropriate suggestions. He knew when to offer guidance and his information was really helpful. He really knows his plants and was helpful in giving suggestions when we needed them. The project was scheduled promptly and Arun personally came by on the morning of the work to go through the yard with both the crew and ourselves marking the work with flags so that we were all on board and in agreement with the work that was to be done. We were having many plants removed and we wanted to give some to relatives. Arun's crew was very careful and conscientious in their work and set aside designated plants for us to reuse. In addition, Arun even prepared a few plants (with our permission) for a neighbor who came over to see the work. Arun's crew was top notch. They were clearly gardeners, not simply labor. Hardworking, professional, conscientious, tidy. The weather that day was rainy on and off yet his employees made the most of all possible time and did their best to finish in the estimated one day. Arun's estimate was right on target with the invoice we received even though he decided to increase the number of workers from three to five. We appreciated it because we had taken the day off of work and with the rain and the amount of labor we needed done, the increased manpower was needed. However, as I mentioned earlier the final invoice was right on target with the estimate. There were no last minute surprises, hidden charges or unexpected fees. Now that we have a clean slate we will be looking to plant new trees and create new beds and without a doubt will be returning to Arun (Rent-a-Gardener) for that work.

Arun came to our house and did an estimate; there was no charge for this service. We appreciated his suggestions when we were't quite sure about something. We scheduled a day that was, unfortunately, rained out. I had taken days off from work that were difficult to reschedule and was VERY LUCKY Arun was able to juggle some things around and work us in the following day. A crew of 4 came to work about 8-ish with Arun arriving a short time later. We walked through the yard with Arun and his crew chief to be sure we all understood what was to be done...defining all the beds with a bright orange so we could all approve it before digging. They Arun left, the guys got it done...viola! The price was reasonable, the crew was very considerate and cleaned up after themselves. I definitely will be getting in touch with them again when it's time for them next project.

I left a message for Rent A Gardner and received a call back from Arun, very quickly. Arun stopped by for the walk through within just a couple of days...over a holiday weekend which was great for me. When he arrived, he was friendly, professional and assured me of the quality work that would be done. I had hoped for recommendations beyond the obvious and that's what I received. An estimate arrived via email same day or next day. I admit I thought it was a bit on the high side but was confident of the work that would be done. He requested a deposit which I could either process online or via check. We arranged for work on a particular date and he called to tell me that they could actually make it a day earlier while I was at work. I had previously called him about any circumstances under which the actual cost might be higher. He didn't anticpate any increase and in fact ended up charging me less than estimated. My neighbor called me while the work was in progress and told me what a wonderful job they were doing. It was indeed very, very thorough and professionally done. I can't believe the difference and am very pleased with the result.

The owner, Arun, is extremely professional and organized. We arranged for him to come to my house to do an estimate. He was right on time. I explained what I wanted done, and as we walked through my front and back yards, Arun also offered suggestions. Several days later he emailed a detailed estimate to me, I approved it and we set a date. On the night before the scheduled date, there had been heavy rain, and Arun called and emailed me early the next morning and explained that due to the weather, it would be best to start the next day. Considering all the service people that I have dealt with that just don't show up, I was very impressed with Arun's professionalism and for being on top of everything. The next day, as promised, his 2-man crew was there, put in a very full day, and my yard is now oh so neat and lovely. Yes, my husband and I could have spent 2 full weekends doing this, and of course we could never have done as good a job, but as someone who works full time and has a one hour commute each way to work, I'd much rather spend my weekends doing more fun things. This project was expensive, but I consider it a well deserved treat and gift to myself. I will get pleasure every day this summer just admiring my yard.

Arun promptly returned the original phone call. The work was performed within one week to our satisfaction. Although a bit on the high side, I'd definitely recommend this company. All our new neighbors commented on how nice the landscaping is now.

After a large shade tree in our back yard was destroyed by a storm last year, a large area of our yard was an unsightly mess of mud, weeds and tree stumps. I contacted RentAGardener and Arun came to estimate the work the following Saturday. He was very professional and had good ideas for how to deal with our situation. After we decided to use RentAGardener, Arun was able to schedule our job promptly. We were not home when the work was being performed, but the end result is excellent.

After a late start due to a previous job running late, all work was completed in a timely manner. Second time we've used this company and would recommend again.

They did a fantastic job. They go cost a bit more then some other quotes that I got but overall the work was done very well and they were on time and plesent.

Estimate not received timely --- Arun came to measure the lawn on Monday, 4/12 and promised to email the estimate on Tuesday. I didn't hear from him again until Friday, 4/16. He was a pleasure to talk with on Monday & very knowledgeable. But, as I explained to Arun, my schedule is hectic and I need contractors who adhere to agreed upon deadlines or at minimum contact me to advise. He apologized, but I've decided to use another contractor.

He workers showed up on time, did beautiful work were very pleasant and they did a really nice job of cleaning up. The sod was completely removed and bed are ready to plant. They did a lovely job of following the lines I marked out. The job came to exactly what he estimated. All-in-all I couldn't be happier and I would used them again.

One of the most responsive, punctual and professional contractors I have ever used! I called Arun for an estimate and he met at my house the same day. I got an estimate by email two days later and then we set up a date to start. The guys showed up on time and did everything Arun and I had discussed. Everything went like clock work. And the two guys were so sweet to my son and the neighbor kids! We will defintely call Arun agagin!

Work was done when and as expected. It was thorough, timely and quietly done. Lawn was thoroughly raked. Debris was not simply blown into piles. All refuse was placed neatly in paper bags and placed at the side of the driveway. I am well pleased with the service and will use them in the future/

Everything turned out wonderfully. Almost two years later everything still looks great. We explained at the beginning that we had a limited budget, so we worked within it. He was well within the budget, and worked to stay within our limits. The physical landscapers followed his orders, and he came back several time to assure everything was growing as he wanted it to. If we need anything we just call him, and he is a very nice and reliable guy. He is very professional, and we appreciated the drawings and pricing he prepared. We knew what to expect, and he truly delivered. We couldn't be happier with his work.

They did a fantastic job. They had excellent communication, showed up when they said they were going to show up and they did excellent work. I would hire them again.

We called them & played phone tag, trying to get an estimate. They had canceled one meeting already and had to reschedule. That day it was pouring down rain and he called to make sure that we wanted him to come still. We told him that we did but it seemed like he wasn't that happy about having to come out. Because of this, and how hard it was for them to come out, we decided we wouldn't take our chances with them doing the work. Please note that this report was solicited by Angie's List.

The work was okay. He planted a bush in my front yard and he didn?t put any tarp down to prevent weeds from growing up. Now I have weeds growing through all the time. I didn?t notice this at the time, but it should have been done when he planted the bush. He also was a little bit expensive.

It seems like a well run company and the owner is involved. They are punctual and cleaned up after themselves. Their work is a little high in price though.

They were very nice, very expensive, but very nice. Because of their price we decided to go with another company.

They knew what they were doing. They were hard working and friendly. Their quality was good.

This is the fifth or sixth time we have used Rent A Gardener. We use them for fall and spring cleanup. In the fall, it is mostly leaf cleanup, but in the spring, they have provided many services such as bush trimming, weed pulling, and creating mulch beds around our trees, and replenishing our mulch. Arun is always quick to respond to my requests, and his crew always does a great job.

They smoothed out the area and layed the sod. They even roto tilled the area between my bushes without me asking. They provided an estimate over the phone, came when they said they would and worked efficiently while here. Evidently the roto tilling didn't get rid of the weeds as it did not survive the winter. I contacted the company and I think they are just putting me off because they say I am 30 miles away. They want me to wait 3 weeks.

I called RentaGardener because they had received good ratings in Angies List. I tried to make an appointment for an estimate over the phone but they asked my to go online and fill out the estimate request instead of taking my info, which I thought was odd. They did explain that they wouldn't be able to do the work until the 1st week of June. They did come for the estimate when they said they would but did not take any measurements of the yard, which all previous landscapers had done, since it is a large area. He said I would get a quote via email but I never received one. I was very disappointed in this company.

Had to reschedule due to weather. Not a problem and job was done 4 days later.
