Ray was very rude via email communication and claimed we were wasting his time, even though we had decided not to bring him out for an estimate. He was condescending and rude and expected to perform work based upon a cursory email from his MANY ads on CraigsList. While we responded quite quickly, he took days to respond, and when he did so, we were very happy to have already selected another vendor. I would not recommend this person to anyone. They post constantly on CraigsList but feels that work is owed to him if you contact him. Buyer beware. The work product may end up being nice, but it may not be worth it if this is his approach when he's not even taken on the work yet.
Description of Work: They did basement remodeling/framing.

Mr. Ray was pleasant & seemed as though he would be easy to work with. I thought he was helpful in helping me to select what I would need. However, I can't say much for someone who just leaves a customer hanging.
Description of Work: Work never done. We spoke several times and Mr. Ray looked at the project area twice; I purchased the materials on his recommendations as needed for the work (new floor in bathroom, new sink & pedestal, faucets, medicine cabinet, and new doors for entrance to house.) We had agreed I would contact him when I returned from vacation the end of November, which I did. I have heard nothing from him since. After three calls in which I left messages, I've given up hearing from him.

THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL, HOWEVER, AS THE PROJECT WAS WINDING DOWN, HE ASKED IF WE COULD PAY HIM THE BALANCE OWED AND HE WOULD COME BACK IN THE FOLLOWING WEEK OR TWO TO WRAP THINGS UP. NORMALLY, I WOULD CONSIDER THAT AN ABSURD PROPOSITION, BUT BASED ON THE 3+ WEEKS HE HAD SPENT WORKING ON OUR KITCHEN, WE REALLY THOUGHT WE HAD COME TO KNOW HIM AND HIS CHARACTER QUITE WELL. AS SOON AS WE PAID HIM, POOF! HIS DEPENDABILITY WENT RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW. WE LEFT HIM NUMEROUS MESSAGES IN THE WEEKS THAT FOLLOWED WITH NO RESPONSE AND IN CASE YOU'RE THINKING WE WERE UNREASONABLE OR OVERLY DEMANDING, LET ME ASSURE THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. LONG STORY SHORT, WE NOW HAVE TO HIRE ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TO THE TUNE OF A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS TO FINISH UP THINGS WHICH WERE CLEARLY IN THE ORIGINAL BID. I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU NOT TO USE HIM, BUT DO EXERCISE CAUTION. WOULD NOT HIRE HIM AGAIN.
Description of Work: SANDED, PRIMED, & PAINTED ALL CABINETS IN KITCHEN & WALLS. ADDED NEW CABINET HARDWARE. MOVED CABINETS TO NEW LOCATION ALONG WITH MICROWAVE MOUNT. TOOK OUT CABINETS AND REPLACES TILE. HOOKED UP NEW STOVE AND HOOD. TILE BACKSPLASH. PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL. PUT UP LIGHT FIXTURES. PUT IN NEW SINK. PUT IN BUTCHERBLOCK COUNTERTOP.
