pool cleaners
 + -1 moreCall and talked to Miguel. He promised to come out the next morning at 8am to open our pool. He was a no show, no call; we were totally blown off. What is shocking to me is that he knew we found him on angie's list AND he didn't even have the courtesy to call and say he wasn't coming. I wasted four hours of my day waiting for a guy who never showed. As a therapist who could have been working and making an income during those hours, maybe I should bill him for MY time that he wasted by not showing - 4 hours time X $200 an hour = $800; that's what it cost me because he chose not to show up.
Description of Work: Nothing - he failed to show up.

pool cleaners, decks
 + 0 moreMiguel performed some badly needed pool renovations in my large in-ground pool. We haggled with him on the price, and the price we eventually got was quite reasonable. He then started work a week later and worked extremely hard and meticulously to create a result that was better than we expected. He added elements to the project that we had not anticipated or expected (eg: silicone crack filling). All in all, a very good result and excellent value for the dollars paid.
