He recommend a high efficiency toilet, and it was the best choice we ever made. The work he did was terrific. He left the area very clean. I would tell a friend that they are a very good company, really nice, and were complete gentlemen.

My appointment time was set up between 10:00 and 1:00. I asked the guys if they could just give me a call before they left for my place so I wouldn't have to sit at home waiting and they obliged. The guys arrived around 12:15, I showed them the problem and they got right to work. I asked what the process usually ran price wise and they told me. About an hour and a half I got a call from HQ explaining my drain was a bit more work than the suggested price. My house is old so it's fairly normal for things like that to happen. I appreciated the call during the service instead of being blindsided at the end. I don't remember the guys names but they were friendly and walked me through the work they did and was overall pleased with the service. I called them on Monday and they got out on Tuesday so the service was prompt as well.

Contractor showed up directly on time without any call and surprised me doing so. It is such a great thing in life to experience with people who love the work they do them helping you resolve some problem with their efforts & skills. Jim was the person doing the work quickly, surely and thoroughly. Overall the issue was a broken water heater to replace. My laundry room is not large yet with careful planning and placement it all fits together and works. It takes time to unhook & remove the dryer and washer to make space for the water heater to be worked on, removed, replaced and the other two then returned into their places. Simple sounding but it took all of three hours to finish without rushing but also no breaks. It started with once I got up from a needed nap on Saturday, the cats seemed to act different. I stepped into the laundry room to finish the clothes and that is how I found out why. Oh it was water, kitty litter and dust bunnies in kind of a soupy, brackish mess. I knew right away the water heater was a goner having had previous experiences. I realized the weekend routine was now completely shot so I went into emergency process mode having handled many emergencies through work over the years. Also per normal routine, disabled family called out with needs, the kitties meowed their interests of dinner, also it was make people dinner time too so I had to figure out how to make everybody happy and everything happen at once. I cleared out the pet items from the laundry or utility room and shut off the house water, used my shop vac to vacuum up the water and mess while "dad" was resting in the bathroom for a few moments, so then it progressed and became a weekend of making do and keeping everything sanitized under emergency conditions. After all my disabled family still need complete attention and care in spite of this crucial appliance breaking down. I took a further step to shut off the water keeping any leaking to a minimum. The cats lived in a makeshift bivouac for two days and were really looking forward to having their "room" back and dry per normal. Monday's effort was still making progress and the new water heater went in easily but that was because Jim was focused and certainly knew what had to be done thus making it all seem effortless though I knew it was not. That is the skill and depth of knowledge I referred to at the outset here. The water heater was able to be shifted some and the gain was a bit of extra space for the washer & dryer. The washer & dryer feet were adjusted to keep them level and balanced while the dyer's space saving vent extension was carefully sealed in place with aluminum tape. One final adjustment of the dryer closer to the wall and the process was over. It seemed too soon yet it was an amazing amount of work that had been accomplished. So focused and engrossed was the concentration that it took a while to register a whole 3 hours had actually gone by. It was so nearly like watching a professional captivating show that resolved a problem with a happy ending, but with audience participation, too. I don't have praise enough for this company. I have used them a time or two before and was glad and certainly very glad to do so this time, too. They are courteous, professional, dedicated and do a complete job.

Excellent service. Called Scott around 9 am. He came in around noon time. Diagnosed the problem to the wax ring. Replaced the ring and fixed a valve problem within 30 minutes. Clean and quality work

Called in the morning and he said he needed to finish a job. Gave a ETA and was at the house as promised. Had all tools, equipment and parts on his truck. (well prepared). Evaluated the situation and gave an estimate. Did the work professionally to my satisfaction. There were two guys on the crew. Charged a fair price for an afternoons work.

I called Scott in the morning and James came by in the afternoon. It was great to have same day service! When James came over, he immediately assessed the issue and fixed the leak problem, as well as repaired the valve problem I wasn't aware of. Everything was fixed in less than an hour. I needed my kitchen sink installed, I called and spoke with Scott and he asked if he could call me back in 5 mins. because he was in the middle of something, I said "sure, no problem". An hour and a half later I still hadn't heard back from him so I called another company on Angie's list.

The drain in our bath tub was stuck in open position, unable to be closed in order to fill the bath tub. We called in Plumb-It. He examined the problem and found that a piece in the mechanism had failed completely. He removed the entire drain assembly and replaced it with a more up-to-date drain model with less pieces that could fail. Then, he filled the tub and ran the whirlpool feature to be sure that there were no leaks and that all was running smoothly.

Scott diagnosed the problem & replaced the drain quickly. They cleaned up shower and work area in basement after they were finished. I will definitely keep his number handy for future plumbing needs.

I called them and they were here the next day and he was able to open the drain.

They arrived on time with 3 guys and finished the job in just 6 hours even after I added an additional task of moving a water line. Everything was done per code and looks great.

My kitchen sink was clogged big time. I called Scott yesterday afternoon. He gave me an estimate of how much it would cost maximum if the problem was what my handyman had told me. But also said to me that it sounded much simpler than that and wouldn't even cost that much. He sounded like he knew exactly what the problem was and yes, he knew it in a minute he came down today morning. Scott and James were punctual, professional and friendly. They came here and unclogged my kitchen sink in less than 20 minutes- $200 He charged much less than what he told me over the phone. Also fixed my leaky flush tank -$30. With the $10 AngiesList coupon altogether it was $220. I highly recommend them. We are very glad that we found a good plumbing company to use in future. My kitchen is functional again.

This was our third time using plumb-It. Frantically called them after I took a walk down to the basement and realized our sump pump was not working. Water was everywhere! Scott told me he would be at the house within the hour. He was true to his word and actually came earlier than expected. He quickly replaced the sump pump. We found Plumb-it through Angie's List and have used them for every plumbing issue the past year and a half

Scott and helper were on time, took their shoes off, was polite. He shut-down, bled-off and inspected the heater, found a small leak. Scott gave us options and we chose the replacement unit that he recommended. When he came back w/the unit, he identified a small dent in the exterior of the unit. He immediately returned that one and brought a brand new one in the same day, installed it, gave us instructions. Did not take alot of time. Great communications, very knowledgeable and professional.

Scott and Jim showed up and quickly assessed that the pipe would be difficult to get to. The ceiling in the shower would have to be removed. They allowed me to take out the ceiling and do all the clean up to save some money. They came back the next day and were able to fix the pipe in a really tight location without having to cut the floor.

Plumb-it was on time and able to help with a bursted pipe / hose bib. They made it look easy and installed this piece better than the original builder. They even reattached a fixture in one of our showers which was starting to leak. Well done sirs!

He actually arrived a little earlier than he thought he would. Tried to clear drain, but after going to basement realized the drain pipe was originally installed wrong. Changed out the drain pipe and got the drain cleared. He charged less than he might have. Would recommend them to friends, family and neighbors.

Did requested provider to come out and replace single faucet cartridge replace, He wanted to charge $175 to visit. What an outrageous charges for the service.

Scott, the owner and his assistant came right on time and went to work immediately with the punch list I provided. In about one hour they had taken care of the items mentioned in the report. Some of the items were in reality not a problem and he so he noted in his invoice which I have to present at closing. Scott is a person with a friendly demeanor and intent on solving problems. I am very pleased with the service and the results. If I was staying in IL he would be my plumber forever. Additionally he is a veteran that has the mentality of honesty and service. I most strongly recommend this company for any plumbing work.

We had a kitchen sink with a disposer that began to back up and fill our double sinks with water if we attempted to use them. I called Plumb-It and they asked if it could wait until the next day since we were in the middle of that horrible cold snap and they had several customers with burst pipes already lined up. Not a problem for me as this was in no way an emergency, just an annoyance that needed to be taken care of. They were out at my house first thing the next morning and got right to work sussing out the situation. They determined that they needed to snake and root out the drain pipes and clear any blockages. Scott and Jimmy were very pleasant to be around and I never felt that I was in their way as I readied my family for their school day (finishing breakfast and making lunches). They were very neat and professional. I will never use another plumber if I can help it! Every encounter I have had with Plumb-It, Inc has been nothing but great.

Scott was upfront about what needed to be done and was very knowledgable about the work he was doing. He was on time, very clean with the work they did, and everything worked great when he was done.
