My 15 year old water heater started leaking and causing my carbon monoxide detector to go off. I decided to just get a new one since it was on its last legs anyway. The first plumbing service I called couldn't fit me in until the following afternoon, so I called Plumb-It instead. Scott quoted me some prices and said he could be there the same afternoon, and in fact, he arrived a little early, which was great. Everything took about 2 hours, the new water heater has been great, and my CO detector has been silent. Definitely would hire again.

Talked to Scott I explained what needed to be done. Sent a couple pictures of the problem and he gave me a price. We are very pleased with the outcome off the work. The workers were on time and did a professional job installing and piping the spigots. There was no mess when they left. They were the cheapest of the 4 plumbers I talked too. Some didn't even call me back. They even left a gift which is super helpful and appreciated!!! Thanks for a job well done.

All went great. I first found Plumb-It on Angie's List about 5 years ago and have used them ever since.

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience. They took care of an issue that another company said was unsafe to snake and would require 4X the amount and additional days to complete.

Service provider was prompt and thorough. They arrived with the necessary parts. They explained the repair requirements before work began.

Plumb-it actually picked up the phone when I called and got me a quote within 24 hours. I can't tell you how many other vendors didn't answer and never return my call. They came on time, the work was done very well and the plumers were nice to work with. They were good about cleaning up and make sure the carpet was protected when they removed the hot water tank and sump pump.

Plumb-It staff were very professional and timely. They easily identified the problems and remedied them quickly. They perform high quality work at a fair price. They also went above and beyond the norm in their job clean up. I hate when service providers leave the place a mess, so this was a very pleasant surprise. I have recommended this company to several friends, and we have all been extremely satisfied. I would definitely use them for all future plumbing needs.

Quick. The bad valve was stuck and needed muscle power to get it removed in prep for new valve.

James and his colleague arrived promptly and said there was no issue with sink it was now fine. There was an issue with toilet and needed basic fix. All done in 20 minutes. My question is this. The cost of the toilet repair was $175. The 'diagnostic' on sink where absolutely no work was done was $50. Now I work in service industry and I understand I have to pay for time or job. I felt that as there was no work carried out on sink I could have had a pass on charging me for that ,and just charged for the toilet? Foster goodwill or such? $225 for 25 mins (i know I couldn't have fixed it myself) just feels steep... maybe I'm out of touch. I have only rated fair due to cost not quality of work. $175 for 25 mins is still a good wage, more than I make!

After calling our regular service provider and finding that he did not work on weekends and didn't leave any other emergency numbers, we turned to Angie's list and on our third provider try, we spoke with Scott from Plumb-It, Inc. Scott told us up front that the weekend call would be $200 to start with and that he would have someone out in approx. 90 mins. Less than a hour later, James arrived and took care of our routing needs. Service was polite, clean and, most importantly- completed. Thank You

Scott and crew were very professional & friendly. They showed up to work a planned half day to find the bad pipe. After not locating the pipe in the location we had hoped, Scott & crew waited while my husband and helper removed cabinets so they could continue the job on past the agreed upon time, working well in to the evening to find, diagnose and replace the bad pipe. Scott offered us SEVERAL options to fix our issue (which wasn't an entirely easy fix), allowing us to decide which route we wanted to take. Every step of the way, Scott asked BEFORE doing any work. Scott provided a price range before the job began, so we had a general idea of the scope of work. At the end of the day, the work came back on the high end of the estimate, to be expected with the scope of the job and the hours he and his crew spent at our house. Scott also offered to write a Plumbers Report for our insurance in hopes some of the work could be covered, even after an initial denial. I'm not sure if he has done this yet, but it was nice of him to offer to help us recoup some of the money based on the extensive work he and his crew had to to do get our drain working again. Homeowners insurance does not cover broken or deteriorated pipes under your concrete slab if there is no visible damage ABOVE the floor. Unfortunately, the damage left behind after digging and replacing plumbing is extremely expensive, so beware if you're on a slab and have plumbing issues due to age & deterioration. We appreciate Scott's friendly professionalism, quick response to calls & ALWAYS asking before moving on to the next step, walking us through the entire process. Would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for plumbing needs. We hope to have Scott back to tackle our bathroom remodel at a later date. I spoke with Scott and he told me he had already ordered the part I needed, but I was told it may not even solve the issue. He recommended a new water heater. I told him not to get the part and he said he would just keep it for his inventory if we didn't use it. I told him I wanted to do the new water instead, and he said that he can do it the next morning at 8:00. I told him to wait a minute on that so I could go obtain the funds, and that I would get back with him once I have the money. He showed up at 9 the next morning anyway ready to install the water heater, banging at my door, and ringing my bell for over 15 minutes. He then proceeded to call over and over and finally left a threatening message letting me know he was going to sue me over this. There was never a message to say anything about rescheduling or asking if everything was okay with me. With all of our conversations he spoke wildly and it made me nervous and that is why I didn't open the door. He was making claims that people think plumbers are just out to get money. They never gave me a definitive answer as to the solution to my problem. I felt rushed and very pressured.

Scott promptly responded to my voicemail and scheduled service for the same day as they had a break in their schedule and could fit me in. I really appreciated that as I had a leaky kitchen pipe that wasn't technically an emergency situation as we were able to catch the water in a bowl but Scott understood and was able to send someone over. The guys he sent were friendly and efficient and also took the time to give me estimates on two other projects. The pricing was fair, the work was done in a timely manner and they exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use Plumb-it on my next project.

Scott promptly answered my call and arranged for service next day. Repairers arrived early for work and promptly finished the job. Pricing was fair, quality work performed, and I appreciated that 3 other toilets were inspected free of charge. Will definitely use going forward.

The crew arrived early and completed the task in short order in a professional/courteous manner. They were effective and they were very fast to respond and set up the appointment. Great turnaround and service.

I left a message for Scott the evening of Feb. 15, and he returned my call quickly. We had our basement finished 8 years ago, and the bathroom, which includes toilet, shower and sink, had it's own ejector pump installed. A couple days before I called Scott, nothing in that bathroom was draining properly. Scott and associate came out the next morning and replaced our ejector pump. We lived in unincorporated Naperville before our current house and had a septic system. I didn't realize a bathroom ejector pump acts as an indoor septic system. Anyway, all systems go. Thanks Scott.

If I could, I would give 10 stars to Plumb-It. I had a leak under my concrete slab and after searching and calling for a week, I could not find a plumbing company willing to do the work. When I called Scott at Plumb-It, he said he repairs leaks under concrete slabs and gave me an estimate. They came out and located the leak, then jackhammered the floor to repair the leak. They were fantastic and did excellent work and kept everything nice and clean. Yes, his magnet will stay on my refrigerator for future plumbing work and reference for family and friends.

I called Plumb-It because my kitchen drain line was backed up. I called Scott at 2:20. James was at my house by 3:00 and had the line cleared by 3:25. Scott was very friendly and helpful on the phone. He said they were working on another job, but was able to free up James as they were finishing that job for the day. I chatted with James throughout his work and found him to be very friendly and professional.
