The experience was seamless from the time we made the call to Plumb-It till we waved good bye. Scott (owner) is a very personable person. He knows his business too. He had a new employee with him, who was very knowledgable as well. Scott also went above and beyond when I presented a problem with my sink, he fixed it immediately(I had been meaning to research and fix it myself for the last 4 months). What a relief it was to finally resolve it, and he knew just what to do. I will definitely call upon Plumb-It for any plumbing needs, also I would recommend them to anyone else.

He had to go into my crawl space to perform the work and move the piping around. I would hire him again and he did a fine job. He has got fair quote pricing. He is prompt and courteous when he is on the job. He cleans up after himself and I don’t think you can ask for more than that for somebody to hire. I had other people quote it and he came in at the best price. He capped the pipe nicely, and he put a valve on there and I wasn’t even expecting it. So I would say quality wise he was fine on that too; but it was a pipe and it’s not like it was a finished kitchen or something. I reached him on the same day I was trying to get the quote. He came out the following day to give me the quote. I hired him on the spot when he told me what he charged. I think he came out within 3-4 days of his quote job time; which was fine with me as I needed time to clear the area. He worked with my schedule and he did what I needed. He was right on time and very professional. I don’t think I can ask for much more than what I got from him. He did everything I was expecting and he actually added a feature I didn’t even consider.

Had a toilet that was leaking. Scott came, was no-nonsense about what needed done and what it would cost. Also had some smaller jobs (2 sinks with problems). Everything was done within a couple hours. A+.

We had 2 toilets that need to have the internal flush mechanisms replaced. It was not an emergency, and we ended up having to reschedule a couple of times because they had other, more urgent calls. But they were very good about it - communicated well about the changes in schedule, and also asked if we were ok with the changes. They were willing to put in longer hours to get us in after the other emergencies, but we agreed to reschedule since ours was not urgent. We also like the fact that they are local small business, and give a personal touch. We plan to use them in the future when the need arises.

To make it short and sweet and quote my husband "He was great! A really cool guy". Scott was on-time, professional but very easy to work with, and really took his time to make sure what needed to be fixed was fixed, and what really didn't need his help was not touched. All of that, and the job was still done in around 2.5 Hours! Much quicker than we anticipated. I believe that the 600.00 dollars I paid was worth every penny; and we will be calling Scott for all of our future plumbing needs (which will be easy because he gave us a magnet with his number on it!) Overall Plumb-It was very honest and upfront about everything and the entire service visit went smooth. I am very happy with the work that was performed.

I originally called Scott on Saturday. He asked what the problem was, and whether it was an emergency. We had shut off our water completely because water was spraying from below the hot water handle of the kitchen faucet out all over the kitchen. We have no shut offs right under the kitchen sink (very old house), but he explained that we could shut off the water at the water heater and still have use of the cold water. That was great to know, so we scheduled him to come on Monday afternoon. Scott also advised us on the best kind of new faucet to get, and that we would save a bit by buying it ourselves. He actually came Monday morning, as his earlier jobs had gone more quickly than anticipated. I wasn't the one at home when he came to do the work, but the report I received is that Scott was very professional, and very careful, and went above and beyond to make sure all was right. I can say our new faucet is installed perfectly, and works and looks great. With regard to fixing the main leak, due to a very old pipe, I understand that Scott first tried to seal the leak without replacing the pipe, but when that was not working, recommended that the pipe be replaced right away to avoid further damage and potentially worse problems in the future. I appreciated that he tried a less expensive approach at first. I also want to mention that although this was our first experience with Plumb-It, I originally located the company on Angie's List for my mother, who thought there was a leak in her shower plumbing. Scott came and analyzed the situation, and determined there was no leak, but that my mother's gutters were clogged and water was running down the side of the house as a result. He actually got up on his ladder and cleared the gutter, and charged my mother nothing. Of course, later when she did need a plumber, she called him right away and he came and did the job very satisfactorily and at a very reasonable price. We have added Scott and Plumb-It to our list of key resource people, which is very important to have, especially when you have an old house like we do.

Called at 9:30am on a Monday morning with a leaking water heater. Scott came out that afternoon with a new Bradford White water heater. Removed old water heater, installed new, cleaned up. Good to work with, knowledgable, fair price. Very pleased.

The job turned out great. They communicated with me very well. They were there when they said they would be there. They performed the work very satisfactorily. If I were to recommend them to friends and family, I would mention that they were prompt and very reasonably priced and that they provided professional service.

Can't say enough good things about my experience with "Plumb-it". Found a big leak under my kitchen sink on a Sunday night and called first thing on Monday and by Monday afternoon all was dry again. Had to have my garbage disposal replaced, he had one on his truck. Nice guy, quality service, prompt and reasonal rates.

Came home from 5-day vacation to 1/2 inch of water in basement. Extracted water ourselves, cleaned up basement. Saw more water after next storm coming from ejector well pipe and basement toilet. First contacted Finn Plumbing, which had 21 top rated reports on Angies list and zero negatives. Ryan Finn was committed to a week-long contract. Next, contacted Scott Mrizek of Plumb-It, who had 8 top rated reports on Angies list and zero negatives. Responded next day. Correctly diagnosed sump pump failure. We had failed to recognize that sump pump was failing, as it was still pumping some of the time. Sump pump provided was high quality and pumped water for over 100 minutes straight to empty the accumulated water under our house. Pleased with Scotts knowledge and professionalism. E-mailed Scott with request to replace our 14 year-old water heater, but he never responded. Must be too busy.

We had a problem with the kitchen sink backing up when ever we ran water or the dishwasher was draining. We tired several products to see if it would clear up the problem but we had no success. I called Scott at Plumb-it and he said he could be there the next day. This worked out perfect for me. Scott arrived on time and began to assess the problem. He inspected the sink and then went to the basement to check out the drain pipes. He pointed out some issues which I was already aware of because several people in my neighborhood have had the same problem with their homes. He gave me several options on what could be done. He recommended the least invasive and least expensive. If it happens again we will have to review our options. He performed the work and cleaned up. Everything went off without a hitch. Over a month later and the drain is still working fine. Scott was professional and showed up ON TIME, which is important to me. If I decide to have additional work done I will consider Plumb-It first.

It went great. He was fast, clean, and friendly.

He was just fine. It was a small job and he came in, did the work and he did it very satisfactorily. He totally removed the gas pipe from one wall in the utility room, went into the crawl space and rearranged the pipes there and put the pipes on the diagonal wall from where it originally was. He put a pipe in that had a nice up-to-date nozzle. I got exactly what I asked for. He suggested that he could do it in one of two ways because my furnace was nearby. He was very courteous and professional. He was on time both with the quote and with the response for him to get the work done. I was very happy with his services. I added to the cost by asking him to do the job a bit more uniquely. I had contacted some other people and their prices were higher than his.

We were trying to put the water heater on our own but the pipe was old and needed replacing. One thing that was nice what they he came right away the night we called him. He was a really amiable guy and was nice to work with. He did a beautiful work and made sure everything was right. He did very good work and was very straightforward. He was slightly expensive but it was an emergency call so I think he was fair.

I called to get an estimate to add a gas line at home, he responded promptly he came home gave an estimate, I accepted it and he came back on Saturday. He dropped one of his tools and chipped a small piece of my title floor, he immediatle called me and let me know, he offered his help to replace the tile he chipped or to fix it with a bath tub fixing compound, the chip was small so I told him he could use the compound. He finished he line the same day and fixed the tile. I was sattisfied.

I called Scott up on the night of the 18th when we spotted the problem and he was very helpful in trouble shooting over the phone. We made an apointment for 8:00 to 8:30am the next morning. He called me at 8:15am to tell me he was on his way. Scott found the problem in the Main Drain and cleared the problem and tested the Main to make sure it was working ok. He then rodded the rest of the Main pipe past the blockage to make sure the rest of the pipe was ok. Great Service I would use him again!!

They were very competitive on their price, and actually under bid another company. This company new exactly what to do and saved me about $1800 easy. He was out there the same day that I had called.

Scott was very responsive to my call and arrived for my initial appointment right on time. I say initial appointment because when we turned the water on, the valve was showing some leakage. He suggested I take care of this before testing the valve. I opted to do this myself as I had replaced gaskets and seals in the past. I then scheduled another test with Scott. At this point we had a small hiccup -- the scheduled service date came and went. I called Scott and asked what was going on -- and he took responsibility for the fact that he erred in not getting me put on his actual work schedule. In spite of my being frustrated, it was refreshing to have a little honesty (I've had other providers in this situation suggest that I must not have made the appointment). He then offered immediate rescheduling and was out the next day, taking care of the service. While the RPZ certification is not a major service, I did find his pricing very reasonable and in the low end of the range of providers. Other than the scheduling snafu, the service and price was outstanding. Even considering the scheduling snafu, I would use him again.

Scott responded pleasantly to my call. He offered to come out to identify the problem and to offer an estimate for repair free of charge. He arrived promptly and routed out the clog in our drain pipe. He was efficient and helpful. He provided a quick fix to a potentially disasterous situation.

I came home from work to find the drains backing up and running very slowly. Found Scott on Angie's list, my first time using Angie's list, gave him a call and discussed the problem. I'm normally a do-it-yourself type but it was already 7:00 pm and my last experience at cleaning out the sewer line by myself was enough to convince me to hire it out. Scott was here in half an hour. While plumbing work is not inexpensive, I feel Scott is fairly priced. My sewer problem turned out to not be as simple as a couple of roots in the line. Which explains my previous problems. Scott was very honest about hitting a stopping point (literally) and what the options are. I feel he is very candid and accommodating. He presented options rather than just steamrolling me with gloom and doom scenarios.

Scott Mrizek was referred to me by a friend. My drain out of my house was clogged, and I couldn't run my washing machine because the tub would overflow. My hours have been really crazy, and he agreed to meet me on a Saturday afternoon at my house. He got the work done quickly and efficiently. I'm so glad I called him. He was friendly and professional. I highly recommend him!
