Description of Work: Installed new furnace, A/C condenser and thermostat. Reused current humidifier and UV air purifier. Very thoughtful installation saved space and was very professionally done. (And as a former manager of craftsmen in a manufacturing facility, I have high standards.) Performing very well so far. House feels much warmer (we have reduced the thermostat setting)even though furnace is rated for fewer BTUs than what we replaced.

 + -1 moreWay above and beyond for an annual check! Incredibly thorough! He even took part of the furnace apart and cleaned it. Very nice.
Description of Work: He came to do a check on our furnace and found a problem. Repaired and cleaned our furnace.

 + -1 moreOur house was built in 1923 and already had central forced heat via a furnace in the basement. The previous 2 owners used window AC units in a few rooms during the summer and we too did this our first summer in the house last year, but it was terrible with a new baby. We were given a recommendation to use Pillar Heating and Air by our neighbor and couldn't be happier! Travis was very detailed in his quotes and answered all of my questions about different SEER options and how they would actually effect our electricity bill. We received a quote from another (larger) company but felt Pillar was the better choice. I also like that Travis teaches classes at Waubonsee Community College?s Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning department. The work was performed in the time frame as promised and the unit runs great! We plan to have them return in the fall to replace our broken humidifier.
