Description of Work: After an initial stop by, it was established by a team of two very professional guys that my sewer didn't need to be rodded. I benefited greatly from the experience, though, because now I know that my sewer can't be concreted over due to local code. Therefore, there is no point in rodding my line because it was done so recently. I would definitely call Perfect again for a sewer repair.

Description of Work: They arrived on time, and were very pleasant, but when they checked on my system, they determined they could not complete the service since my sewer entry point was in the crawl space rather than the basement.

Description of Work: My tub drain was plugged and I wanted a plumber to rod it. I saw the offer and purchased it. When I called, they said that they wouldn't do that type of service call, so I never used the offer and would like a refund.

Description of Work: Perfect Home Service came to the house and assessed our situation. The technician recommended a different service that would better correct the problem. That work has been scheduled for completion in the next week. The service associated with the coupon is not necessary/would not be valid for our problem.

Description of Work: Perfect Home Services is well-named. Everyone we dealt with, especially Jason Kapus (Sewer Engineer) was helpful, professional, courteous, eager to educate us. We were terribly disappointed that our sewer connection broke at exactly the wrong time, because the relining process they offered would have given us the equivalent of a new sewer. When it turned out that we could not afford both the sewer repair AND the new lining, Jason was very understanding. We hope that someday we can go ahead with the lining, but for now we have to address the broken connection to the public main, and tearing up the street is very expensive! We highly recommend Perfect Home Services.

Description of Work: I had purchased a big deal for $39 for a Plumbing Service Call PLUS Whole House Plumbing Inspection. I was unable to use the big deal due to the fine print. The company was professional and polite with me.

Description of Work: 8:30 am Tue Apr 30 2013 Called Perfect Home Services and talked with Amber who scheduled the job for Thur May 2 8am to 12pm. Mark arrived 10:30am to state that he cannot do the job because he has no camera and no experience. Called Amber who said new technician with camera will arrive in the afternoon, which he did not because he got stuck on another job in West Chicago. Re-scheduled with Amber for Tue 8am to 12pm May 7. Amber called 9:30am to cancel as they were overbooked. Amber wanted to re-schedule for Thur May 9. Told Amber we would not be home again until early June. Called Amber early June and she scheduled the job for Tue June 11 1pm to 4pm. Amber called twice in the afternoon that the technician was on his way. Around 3pm a gentleman called us to say that our job does not qualify for this offer because we don not currently have a problem with our main sanitary sewer line. This company took many hours out of my life and I am amazed that Angies List considers them a valued supplier.

Description of Work: When you call they tell you there is a service fee of $40.00 plus dollars to come out and diagnosis problem. I didn't have a problem, I just wanted yearly maintenance done on having the main clean out rodded and cleaned, still charged a fee to come out and look. Also was told the coupon they offered online wasn't good for clean-outs that were located in crawl-spaces even though the ad doesn't state that, they said that it was a misprint and only includes outside clean outs. Right from get go , not happy won't use !!!

Description of Work: It went well overall. They came on time and checked and said they were not allowed to do the rodding in Downers Grove area and told us that we can request for the full refund as the service was not performed.

Description of Work: First appointment I scheduled, they did not show up. I called and they had told me one date, but gave the company a different date for the appt. Second appointment also a no-show. I called (I had to call them) and they said they could not come until much later in the day, which was no good for me. I called company again to talk about the coupon, because we were about to just go ahead and install a new water heater instead of salvaging the old one. They said the water heater flush wouldn't be used, since we were buying a new heater, but we could have a plumbing inspection (turning the faucets on and off). They had nothing else to offer for their "inspection" when I asked if that was all they would do. Their answering service that I dealt with was really lousy. They were very muddled about appointment dates and times. I don't think I dealt directly with the company itself, but the answering service, which really didn't understand the business and what it entailed. They extended the coupon for 6 months past the exp. date, but I decided that turning the faucets on and off was not worth $79. I spoke with them very recently and they told me to get a refund from Angie's List. All in all, a lost cause. I think they need to answer their own phones or get a trained answering service. They are probably a good company, but need to overhaul their customer service and get their dates/times straight.

Description of Work: The reps from Perfect Home came out, asked several questions and then proceeded to look for the sewer cleanout. After determining that the cleanout was either not installed or behind a wall in the basement, they recommended that I ask the previous owners where it might be. So I rescheduled assuming they (previous owners) would have that information. No luck there. I had to cancel my 2nd appointment last Friday and requested a refund today.

Description of Work: The service rep. Mark was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Mark gave us preventative tips to keep our drains clear. It was refreshing to hear Mark's statement that 100ft.rodding,that he did not feel or find an obstruction. Thank you, The Piotrowski Family

Description of Work: On March 20, they came to our home and wanted to charge $189 for just removing the toilet to put in the rod. My wife told them that she will reschedule the appointment so that I can be home to remove the toilet. We rescheduled to March 27 morning. They confirmed the morning then changed the hour to early afternoon. Since I can't make it for early afternoon, I requested to change it to 3:00pm that day. I got home at 3:00pm and waited the whole evening for them to show up. No show-up and no phone call. What a waste of time? With all the hours wasted, I wouldn't call this a "Big Deal".
