He did excellent, he was friendly, he was fast and wanted to make it right and they cleaned parts of the fridge he took him out.

He was very polite and came in and did it. Took all the part and put it together, when he was finished he cleaned up the area. He was very capable and quick.

If I could give less than one star I would. Placido came out to repair my dryer and charged me $335. The loud noise is now gone but the dryer is not venting outside from the dryer vent but is venting in my basement. This was not the case before this service call. I called Placido to let him know something was wrong and he needed to return and fix. He refused. No one should use this service.

Horrible!! Never work with them!! Impolite and doesn't care about his quality of work! Not insured business as well!! Lack of communication from the beginning! He just happened to be the only available guy then! Charged me $450 for repair. Claims changed with new parts that somehow have only 90 days warranty on them. Of course, the dryer broke down once the 90 days passed. What type of parts only have 90 days warranty on them?

This person called after placing request at Home Advisor since they use Angi to source suppliers. This company and individuals are both fraud. He called immediately after I placed the advertisement in homeadvisor. Upon pay cash to add his convenience, this man avoided phone calls, texts and every form of communication. He has recommended changing the board, however it may not even be the issue.

The technician found the brake in wire quickly, and repaired it.

We had Placido repair our oven on July 19 2020. He said it was an igniter and replaced it. We were led to believe that he had put in a LG igniter. Cost of visit was $286. The oven started losing heat on Thanksgiving Day while I was roasting a small turkey. We called Placido and he told me that we needed a new thermostat and he would get back to us with a price. When we didn’t hear back from him we called again and he said that he would get back to us first thing in the morning when the parts store opened. He never did. We have called several times and he has not returned our calls. We called another repairman who told us that the igniter Placido put in was a generic one and that our oven doesn’t have a thermostat it has a sensor and we should get Placido to come back. So on top of his charging us for what we believed was an original part we also paid $80 more for another repairman. I was originally very happy with the service. But now knowing that we were scammed I had to write this review. Not returning our calls told us that we had chosen the wrong repairman. Terribly disappointed with the lack of response not to mention the amount of money we spent. Any repairman that will not return calls after an oven fails just 4 months after he repaired it should not be in the business.

Discovered our issue and not only did we need a repair on our washer the water valve was also messed up causing leakage he also recommended a plumber great work both men

UPDATE: I had requested info for repair...Unfortunately, the company I choose through Angies List is not reputable. The man was the owner of the company and he was friendly and I trusted him... my big mistake! After 335.00 paid in cash( my mistake) days latter the freezer was not working... I loss much of my food... he was not honorable... Placido got back to me right away. When I called, we made an appointment immediately. He was on time, very courteous, and was able to fix my oven in less than an hour. I will definitely be hiring him again.

It was very, very well. He completed everything very fast. The price was great.

Company was a no show for my appointment. Tried calling that evening, the following morning and afternoon. No answer and couldn't leave a voice mail as message stated inbox was full. Extremely unprofessional!

On Saturday night at 7 pm I discovered all of the food in the bottom half of my freezer had completely defrosted. I desperately searched online for emergency appliance repair services in my area. When Angie's List popped up first, I took the leap. Out of 3 choices, owner, Placido Corrales, returned my request literally within minutes!! Others did respond but were unable to come after hours. Mr. Corrales arrived within the hour, (wearing a protective mask), identified the problem and went to work. He retrieved the right replacement part from his shop then returned to complete the project all within a couple of hours. He was friendly, courteous, and very professional in explaining each step of the repair. The cost was reasonable considering it was an after hours, weekend repair and now our freezer is food worthy again. We will definitely use his services for any future appliance repairs.
