We found the best installer we've ever had in JRE Carpet Service! We had a different, well-known area flooring company install new carpeting at our home a while back. They left fraying edges on 18 feet of entry space into our kitchen and foyer. I should name that company but I won’t. We couldn’t believe they left edges like that, and with the carpet sunken lower than the tiles. When we brought it up they tried to charge us to come out with tapered carpet ‘ramps’ to raise the floor and rework the carpeting. We told them the right thing to do would have been to have figured out the need for them in the first place. We didn’t trust them at that point so we asked around. That's when we found the best installer we’ve ever had in JRE Carpet Service, who was recommended to us by a builder friend that we know. No matter where you purchase carpet from, my wife and I would recommend Jorge, owner of JRE at 630-675-5283 for install. He will measure for you, you go find the carpeting you want, and JRE will perform high quality installation. Jorge was excellent to work with, kept all appointments on time and did exceptional work. We were very satisfied with JRE Carpet Services. We contacted Jorge to give us an estimate to install carpet in a home which we had purchased from a local big-box retailer. Jorge gave us a competitive estimate and said to give him about a week lead time to schedule the work. When we were ready to have the carpet installed, we contact Jorge who schedule a time as promised. On the day of the installation, Jorge and his crew came and installed the carpet as agreed upon. The workmanship was excellent, and they left the job site very clean. We were very satisfied with the work performed.

We removed some built-in cabinets from our den, which caused us to need to replace the flooring with new carpeting that we already owned. The gentlemen from JRE were prompt, quickly got down to business laying tacking strips, cutting the carpet to size, seemlessly gluing it to the existing carpeting so that the subtle pattern matched and finishing the install. They were quite efficient and altogether it only took them about one-half hour. I do wish they had used the vacuum in the room, which was already plugged in and ready to go, but they left the scraps for me to pick-up. I'd use them again as their pricing and install was professional.

Arrived on time - installed our carpet in no time - and we are very happy with the result. JRE are real pros.

Jorge was extremely professional and wonderful to work with. He came to us recommended through a realtor, having done a lot of work for him in the western suburbs. Right from bringing samples to our home and helping us select the type of carpet and color (Plush/Frieze/Berber) to giving us an accurate quote, to checking back with us on a good installation date, to completing the job on time to doing a quality job, it was a wonderful experience working with Jorge. He also nailed down some floors that were creaking while doing the carpeting. We are extremely happy with our carpeted floors. I have already recommended JRE to a friend and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
