 + -1 moreJavier fixed our front brick walkway and rebuilt the front steps. The work looked really good at first. Then many of the bricks on the steps came loose. We called him many times and asked him to come back to fix this. He said he would but never did. He just blew us off. VEY UNHAPPY!

 + -1 moreJ&G do a good job. They show up at the same day and time every week to cut my grass. I also hired them to remove many bushes and roots from my front yard. The price for the bush removal was a very good deal ($300), and they did the work very quickly. The only complaints I would be able to come up with is that sometimes they forget to lay my sump pump hose back out when they are finished, they have put a few divots into the yard with their mowers, and finally it's not always easy to get a hold of them. Overall, I am happy with the work they do and very happy with the prices they charge.
Description of Work: Cut grass. Use trimmer and blower. Pulled 15-20 bushes out of front yard.

Description of Work: J & G Landscaping & Contractors do not do anything for me and they never will. They came to my door at 8:20AM on a Thursday morning trying to solicit business from me. #1 At my front it is clearly posted: NO Soliciting & NO Doorhangers / Literature #2 J and G left unwanted literature on my door and I when I called the lady back to remove it ... she developed an attitude and I issued her a verbal NO TRESPASSING directive. -- This was a clear violation by J and G of Village of Oswego, IL Solicitation Ordinances. #3 The Solicitation took place prior to 9AM. Another clear violation by J and G of Village of Oswego IL Ordinances for soliciting prior to 9AM. #4 Neither Jand G nor this woman is licensed by the Village of Oswego to do Solicitations. The woman did not wear the required photo ID name tag. Another clear violation by J and G of Village of Oswego IL Ordinances. #5 All the above was reported in a formal written complaint against J and G at the Oswego Police Department. #6 J and G is not registered by the BBB and acts in an unprofessional manner.

 + 1 moreThe price was competitive and the quality of the service was in line with the price (not the best quality but not the lowest either). The problem, and reason why this company is not my snow removal one for this year, is that they never answer their phone, if they live a voice mail the sound quality is so bad you don't really know what they say. The owner never comes around with the contract so you never know if you are going to receive the service or not and you don't want to find out after the fact. They are well priced and do a good service, but they lack responsiveness and follow up initiative.

 + -1 moreThe yard looks great when they are finished. They are professional and very hard working. They get the work done quickly and the price is right. They make sure to get rid of any debris left behind. They are professional and I am pleased. I pay them weekly.

 + -1 moreRep called and made appointments twice in 2 days and failed to show up each time. Kept saying he had the map and he knew how to get to our housem, but after an hour of waiting and confirming that he will show up, he never did. Serious doubts about their work, if they don't show up for an estimate.
