First, Joel, the owner of Epic Audio, showed up 2 hours late for our appointment; second, he asked so few questions as to what I wanted that it would have been impossible for him to understand the project; & third, Joel never submitted a proposal or contacted me again after the previous ordeal. This guy was very unimpressive.
Description of Work: Epic Audio was asked to give an estimate on setting up a distributed audio & visual system throughout our house.

I (JOEL) ADMIT THAT SOME MISTAKES WERE MADE THAT LED TO AN UNUSUAL AND UNFORTUNATE DELAY IN THE PROCESSING OF THIS MEMBER'S PROPOSAL. IN ALL FAIRNESS, I MUST EXPLAIN THAT MY LATE ARRIVAL TO OUR MEETING WAS A RESULT OF UNCONTROLLABLE CIRCUMSTANCES - SUCH AS A MAJOR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT THAT BACKED UP THE HIGHWAY. DURING THE DELAY, MEMBER WAS CALLED AND INFORMED THAT I WOULD BE LATE DUE TO THE ACCIDENT. I HAVE PERSONALLY APOLOGIZED TO HIM FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE AND HAVE MADE CHANGES TO AVOID THESE ISSUES IN THE FUTURE.

JOEL WAS OUTSTANDING, AN ENGINEER BY BACKGROUND WITH A GREAT WORK ETHIC. HE WAS PROMPT, POLITE, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY WOULD COME UP WITH INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT WORKED WELL. WE ARE NOW COMPLETING OUR BASEMENT AND HE IS HELPING WITH THAT.
Description of Work: JOEL INSTALLED OUR WHOLE HOUSE SOUND SYSTEM AT CONSTRUCTION, WHICH ALLOWED US TO CONTROL THE SYSTEM THROUGH MULTIPLE ZONES. HELPED US SHOP FOR ALL COMPONENTS, SPEAKERS AND REMOTES WE NEEDED AS WELL.
