This is the third time we have used Dependable Maytag for appliance repair. Each time we have been completely satisfied. We called for service at 10:30. We were given a window of 2 - 4 PM THE SAME DAY. The serviceman arrived at 3. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a blower gasket that had become dislodged. He returned the gasket to its proper place and will return in a few days with a new one. He said we could use the Dryer until he returned to install the new gasket which had to be ordered. I used the dryer for several loads after service was completed. All is well so far.

Arrived on time - performed series of tests to determine the problem and thoroughly explained everything to my husband and I. There were too many things wrong with our washing machine so we decided not to fix it. I felt the price charged for the service call was quite reasonable considering the travel and time Tony spent at our house. Plus, if we do decide to buy a new machine at their store, we will get a $30 credit towards the purchase price.

I'm not sure if the price was high or not, but it was well worth it to me because I did not want to buy a new dryer. It was the first repair to this machine and it was 10 years old, so also kudos to Maytag Corp. for the equipment and for stocking the needed part.I would recommend Dependable Maytag Home Appliance for service.

Tech arrived on time, did the work while showing a friendly attitude, cleaned up and everything went great.

I called at 9:30 AM. The order taker said he would call back within an hour to tell me what time the repairman would come. I got the call and was given a 2 hour window - 2PM - 4PM. Mike, the repairman came at 2:30. When he turned on the dryer, the heat was working. He waited for the dryer to cycle and after 3 or 4 cycles the heat stopped. He knew that the problem was the coils that supplied the gas flow. He also noticed that the blower wheel was wobbly and moving slower than normal. He quoted a $250 price to fix both. I approved the work. He replaced the defective parts, vacuumed the inside of the dryer - 15 years worth of dust - and cleaned up the area. He finished in about 1 hour total. I asked Mike about various kinds of washers and dryers and he was knowledgeable in and helpful in his response. I would not hesitate to use Dependable Maytag for appliance repair in the future. Also, the next time I need to purchase an appliance - fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer - I will check with the Dependable Maytag store in Naperville. I have not been to the store or purchased anything from them. The experience I had with this repair has given me the confidence to try them in the future for purchase in addition to repairs. This same day service was outstanding.

We thought that the machine may be unrepairable, and Tony confirmed this. We plan on going to their retail store to look at a new unit.

I purchased the refrigerator from them several years ago. It developed a rattle while it was under warranty and they came out right away to fix it. Then earlier this spring the same refrigerator had a recall come out. I called them and again they were out right away to fix it. Both times the repairmen were quick to fix the issue, and they showed up on time. It's a small family owned business, and their prices were even better than the big box stores. Their sales staff were knowledgeable and nice.
