John was able to work with my crazy schedule in order to do the job. My mother wanted to install the cameras at her place and of course she wanted me her daughter to be there to make sure that it was done right. John came on time, we went over the equipment, showed him where I would to install the cameras and made some suggestions. He cut his finger by accident but that did not stop him from doing the job. He knows how to work with his customers. He is very professional and easy to work with. The work was done in a timely manner. We couldn't have been more pleased. He is #1 in my book. A+++ all the way.

I wanted video cameras installed viewing the two entryway doors in my house and also the street outside the front door and in the back alley behind my house. If my daughters come home from school and no one is at home, I want to be able to see that they get inside safely. I've been told by contractors that my house is difficult to wire. 2 different companies I interviewed for this job told me that to avoid making many access holes in walls, I would therefore have to go with wireless cameras. Wireless cameras are easier to install, but are much more expensive and can fail more due to bad weather etc. The cost of a wireless 4-camera set up with dvr and monitor would be $6,000. John Puga of Chicagoland Wiring, Inc came in, assessed the situation and came up with a better solution immediately. He told me he could install 4 wired cameras easily and in 2 days. The solution John came up with that no one else did was to run a wire along the outside of the side of the house. The side is not seen at all due to the neighbor house being so close, the wire could easily be tucked under a plank of siding and I didn't need to spend an arm and a leg on hardware! John started the installation on the day that worked best for me. He installed all the cameras in one day while I was at work. He entirely cleaned up any mess he made--the only evidence he had been there were the 4 new cameras and dv installed. John came the next day and programed the whole system and left detailed instructions for how we could get the images on our computers, smart phones and tablets. I could not more highly recommend John Puga and Chicagoland Wiring, Inc.

John did a great job working with the existing wiring and our existing equipment and worked with us to select a new receiver for the new zones in our house. He was extremely knowledgeable and listened to our requests/needs and helped us get a system that would work for us. After setting up all of the equipment for us and programming everything to a universal remote, he took the time to show us how to use everything!

They could physically install the antenna, but technically they could not, which was odd for the type of work the company claims they do. They wanted to do things their way, instead of the way I asked them, to complete the work. The process was a mess, but they finally did it the way, I wanted. I'm going to contact another company, to come adjust the antenna, as one part is installed backwards.
