Everything from start to finish was quite professional. If we had a question we would contact Jaime either via phone or email and he was so prompt in replying. We were in close proximity to the brick yard thus we visited it and saw all the bricks and color combinations in large layouts. However Jaimie also had samples. We were so suprised at the speed and completion of the project even though there was some rainy weather. The area was all picked up and we are so satisfied with Jaime and Brick Creations and Landscaping, Inc.

Roger said he couldn't take a credit card, even though it says on his website that they accept Visa and MC, but would take a check instead. He said the guy that would deliver the soil wouldn't know how to use the CC machine so he'd need a check or cash. He didn't mention any discount even though it states on his website that they provide 10% for Angie's List members, and I did tell him I got his name from Angie's List. He told me the soil would be delivered to my home between 11 AM and Noon today. I set aside the time to wait for the delivery and when noon came and there was still no delivery, I decided to call Roger. He told me his driver wasn't yet done at the worksite and that he'd be over in a short time. I asked when that would be and he said he'd find out and call me back in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes, Roger called and told me his driver wouldn't be delivering today because he was busy, but that if I could reschedule for another day, he'd drive it over himself. No apology, no nothing, just that the soil wouldn't be over today. I'm glad I decided to call because I'd still be waiting, and all that time would have been wasted. I won't be calling him again; I don't think he can be trusted.

The company is impeccable. The work started on time, finished early and with the highest quality possible. The price was one of the lowest of all bids. I am going to call the company in spring to do a much bigger job.

They are very professional. They worked without an architectural plan. The guy was very smart and knew what he was doing. They worked very quickly and got it done. Showed up on time.

They showed up when they said they were going to. They charged what they estimated. The workmanship was pretty good. The people were pretty friendly and easy to deal with.

We have used Brick Creations before and absolutely love them!!! Roger is great to work with and so is his crew. We have referred them to many people and will continue to do so. We plan on hiring them back every year to maintain our edging and replacing all of our mulch in the yard. We will also hire them for any other landscaping projects that we plan to do in the future.

He was just amazing. A walking encyclopedia. He also helped me on saving a tree that was planted for my sister. He told me the best place to go for plants and where to save money on them. He knows what plants will attract birds. I know a lot about plants but he is just amazing; one of the most interesting people I met in a long time. He came inside the house to see the views from my windows to make sure that each view was beautiful. Mike Spravka is the single best service provider that I have found in all my years with Angie's List. He will tell you the exact plant down the genus species that will grow best in your yard. Its like having Thoreau come visit you.

Three workmen showed up on time, and worked on the project for two days. Roger stopped by to check on their progress a few times. The finished job looks great - his price for the brick work was especially reasonable, and the finished project looks beautiful. We will definitely use Brick Creations again when we are ready to do more home improvements with our yard.

He came with a team as scheduled. They worked for two full days performing the work described. When it was complete, "everywhere I looked was beautiful". We had some problems with a damaged sprinkler line that Rodgers team hit. Rodger came back on two occasions to correct the problem and insure that I was satisfied.

He also didn't show any impatience at the fact that I really hadn't thought about what exactly we wanted. He was very helpful in making suggestions. He left an estimate, and left some brochures. My wife looked at them and had some questions that I couldn't answer. She talked to Roger and he gave her the answers. He then suggested that he come out for another look to explain to my wife what the estimates entailed so she could have a say in it. He came out and talked to my wife. We decided to pretty much do what we had asked for in estimates. He then came out so that we could sign the contact and give him a deposit. At that meeting, we also walked around once again, and we talked about how we would like things done. We set up a time for 3 weeks later. His crew came on time, and they got everything done. There was a bit of a mix-up about the number of steps leading up to the deck (that was one of the things that we had talked about that was not on the original estimate). I planned to talk to Roger when he came by that afternoon (he was at the house every day to check on the progress). But when I went out to talk to him, the steps had already been taken care of :) I got a couple of quotes for the work, and was anticipating getting a few more. There was not a whole lot of difference between the two quotes I did have. While waiting for the other quotes, I talked to one of the two references from around my neighborhood. I had never heard such positive comments about a company. And the reason he decided to go with Roger was because his neighbors who had used him had given such good recommendations. At that point, I decided to go with Roger without waiting for any other quotes.

The previous landscapers did not dig deep enough holes for the trees, so we had several dead trees as well as some that were on their last legs. Roger seemed to know his stuff; when providing the estimate he informed me that we only had 4 inches of topsoil and the rest was gravel and clay. He said that when planting trees they would dig deep holes and fill them in with topsoil so the roots would be healthy. Bingo! I gave the man the job. They got us on the schedule quickly and finished the job in two days. They cleaned up afterwards and left everything looking great.

There was always at least one person on hand who spoke English. They cleaned up at the end of everyday and power washed my house and driveway after everything was done. I asked Roger to install a patio in my backyard because a low area would puddle with water and ruined the grass. He suggested a drain to solve the water problem instead of replacing the grass. He suggested running a drainage line under the deck to a low area near the street. Since I thought that would be too much work, he suggested going up the side of the house. I also showed him a gutter drain in front that was washing mulch around a tree into the grass. He said he could dig it up and extend it to another area. He estimated the work at $1940. I had also pointed out some very overgrown bushes. He said he would cut them back for free if I gave him the job. He came out in 2 days after contacting Julie because he would be digging. The work was all completed in one day. Much to my surprise, he chose to run the drain under the deck which was undetectable. He revised the landscaping to accommodate the drain and everything looks great! He did much more work than expected for the price.

He also suggested adding mulch to make the beds look nicer, and agreed to spade edge the entire front yard at no extra cost. He was very courteous and informative, and he was the most reasonable estimate we got. We would have worked with him if we hadn't chosen to do the work ourselves.
