Company was suggested to me from a friend who had work provided by them earlier in the year. Two other 'Angies List' tree service companies bid on this same job to which Best Tree Care came in the lowest (Angie's list companies came in 1.2 to 4.0 times higher then Best Tree Care!). Between the price and prior recommendation I scheduled my job with Best. Scheduled date was made but Best Tree Care was able to do the job sooner due to an opening. No boom truck was needed. All 'high' cut work handled and carefully planned out by one man with two on the ground. Majority of 'waste' handled by large chipper truck supplied and larger tree bases hauled away. No stump grinding was requested and Best managed to cut bases very low to ground which was appreciated. All work completed within 3-4 hours after arrival which included pickup and raking of lawn of residual materials by Best.

Delivery was prompt & cost was quoted up front. Price was comparable to other companies for a hard wood mix. This was one of the only companies in Dec. to actually have wood left. Wood delivered was wet as it was stored outside so it takes 1 day to dry out inside prior to use.

Company showed up on time, stacked wood exactly where I wanted - very professional. Started using wood and realized I had a face cord of wet wood. Won't burn.

The wood was wet when received, which meant that it would not burn well (smoke a lot and make a hissing sound). I called them, and they offered to pick up all the wood and give a full return if we were displeased -- but they emphasized that they season their wood outside, so some wetness is to be expected (it had rained most of the prior week). We brought the wood in and gave it a few hours to dry, and it was fine, so we did not have them come back. Over the course of the winter, we had no problem with the wood.

Perfectly. They were prompt, quick, and very neat overall. They did not stomp through my garden as other companies have.

They delivered timely, but the wood was extremely wet. I called and they offered to take it all back, but did advise that, because the wood was seasoned outside, some wetness was inevitable. It took at least one full day (even a month later) for the wood to dry out indoors before it was usable.

Called an got a delivery set up for the next day. They came on time, were friendly, stacked the wood and gave me a receipt. The next day, the wood pile fell over. I called and asked if they would either re-stack it or refund the extra $20 I paid to have it stacked. I was told that it must be my fault that it fell because they stack wood all the time and that I would neither be receiving a refund or having it re-stacked. So, I re-stacked it myself and it has been fine. Anyway, the wood seems good. So, I would recommend the company for delivery, but don't pay extra for stacking.

Delivered firewood next day as promised.

The service was good. I was contacted the day before delivery and informed at what time to expect the delivery. They arrived within the specified time and were quick and efficient. The wood seems good and the stacking also looks good.

This is the third year I have ordered from these folks. They have a good product (high-quality wood) and are prompt. I did notice the wood appears a little shorter than last year. Since the price did not go up I just count the missing inch as mark-up.

AURORA FIREWOOD LOADED MY TRUCK AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY STACKED IT NICELY SO I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ALL OVER THE BACK END WHEN WE GOT HOME. THE STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.
