Amco Appliance Repair

Had this guy out to fix our refrigerator. He made 4 visits, was late every time and occasionally did not show up at all, and failed to fix anything. Finally had to ask for a refund and ask him not to come back. This is quite possibly the worst service I've ever had in my life. It took 4 weeks for him to do absolutely nothing. I still have a fridge that doesn't work. In the mean time, my dishwasher started acting up. I asked him to take a look and he told me to run vinegar through it and it would be fine. Several weeks later, smoke started pouring out of it and it died all together. Obviously, vinegar was not the solution here. Ridiculous. Wish I had checked Angie's list first.

wanted to keep business local so hired him based upon zip code. Showed up late, had to make multiple visits, missed scheduled visits, part order delays, additional repairs required after first attempt. Didn't seem interested in job. Zero improvement in performance. Ended up scrapping the DW and buying a new one.
