Accurate Home Repair

Todd patched up a few holes we had in drywall after installing some can lights in our family room. He did a truly outstanding job - it's impossible to tell where the holes used to be. And the price he charged was very reasonable. He takes alot of pride in his work and makes sure it's done right. Very easy to communicate with - he showed up when he promised and worked quickly. We will definitely call him again for handyman services.

Todd is great! He is now our "go-to" handyman. Very easy to work with, very competitively priced and does great work.

Todd was really great with everything he did. I got estimates from 3-4 people and Todd's estimate was priced in the middle but I went with him because I felt he would do a good job and I wasn't wrong. Since he is the only person working on every major project, it does take time to get him scheduled but I wasn't in a hurry so I was OK with the wait. Todd and Mike (his helper) were courteous when they were working around the house. Todd also mentioned anything else he found while working on the windows (cracked siding, chipped paint on the roof, etc) and fixed it while doing the regular stuff, which I really appreciated. His final cost ended up being higher than the original estimate but I felt it was OK considering the additional work he did. I would definitely hire Todd again.

Todd and his assistant did a great job removing all the cabinets from our kitchen. They were careful not to damage either the cabinets or our home during the demo. Though they did put a small nick in one of the walls while carrying out a particularly large and heavy piece, he proactively pointed it out to us and repaired it. Even the Habitat for Humanity (ReStore) drivers who picked up the cabinets for donation commented on how well they had been removed, preserving the cabinets in the best possible condition. His price to do this work was also very fair. He is now completing the drywall work and has been very meticulous to be sure no lines, cracks or imperfections show. He also takes care to minimize drywall dust from sanding, both in his approach to applying the joint compound and his sanding techniques. He has also taken the time to walk around the house and point out a few things (like rotted window sills and brickmold) that require attention. We will be using Todd again for these and other projects.

If i could give more stars I would. Absolutely fabulous job done. I had got cost estimates from three different providers for the work and Todd's estimate was the one in the middle. I ended up going with him because he was the most thorough in his inspection, going around the house, up on the roof and examining every single potential repair item in advance. As a result, he took the longest to provide the estimate, but I was confident enough that it would be reasonably accurate. We scheduled the work in early summer. Todd and Mike (his helper/painter) came in promptly and went about the work. On each day and during the day (I work from home) he would show me what was done and point out other areas that he had discovered would need attention. Work was completed in a couple of weeks (took longer than expected due to few rainy days). In addition he fixed the siding and a few other things around the house. His final bill ended up a bit more than the estimate, however that was expected given the extra work that ended up needing to be done. In any case it was around the number that i expected it to be. Being a new home-owner, i was apprehensive of the first major work on my home. However Todd was professional, courteous and gave me confidence on the job well done. Highly recommended, and I will definitely use his services again for work on my house. -Sanjay

The lower sash on one of our double-hung windows fell out and the rope inside the mechanism was falling out. I called Todd, and he fit us in that day. (It was very hot outside, and I wanted to turn on the AC.) He wasn't familiar with our particular window, but he was able to figure out the mechanics and temporarily have the sash functioning. I ordered a part and will call him back to put it in. Then he fixed the crank on two casement windows and identified the parts that need replacing. I was able to order everything. In short, I thought that we'd have to be replacing our windows soon because they just weren't working right. Now, I think they'll be working just fine once a few parts are replaced. I'm very thankful to Todd.

Todd was responsive and communicative. He replaced a couple of flashings and some missing shingles on the roof. He inspected the roof, explained what the issues were and gave me an exceptionally fair price. He then was able to compete the repairs the same afternoon. I will definitely be calling him for some other work around the house.

We have 3 piece shingles, and Todd replaced full 3 piece sections even if there was only damage to one piece. While on the roof, Todd discovered that the boots to the vents were cracked and falling apart. He went to the local hardware store, purchased new boots (collars), and completed the must-needed repair. Despite the fading of our original shingles, he did a great job matching them. He's a little chatty, but very nice.

Todd came to the rescue again! Our neighbors girlfriend backed her car into our mailbox post and broke it. Now it's never a good time for property damage but this was very bad timing considering we had just listed our home the day before and had showings scheduled. We got a hold of Todd, explained what happened and he said he would swing by to replace it with a new one. If anyone has ever tried to dig a post hole knows this is no easy task. Along with installing and leveling the new post and attaching and adjusting a new mailbox. Now may I add that Todd had been working all day at another job and still came by in the evening even after I had asked him if he'd like to come another day since he had been working all day. Nope! Tried and true he still wanted to make time and fix it for us. So he came, battled through the nasty hard soil and gravel and got the job done! He truly means it when he says when he says he's going to do a job he's going to do it right. And he did!!! Perfect!

My husband attempted to change our ceiling fan when things started to go south. We have a two-story angled vaulted ceiling in our family room and the fan just stopped working. So off to the big box store to get a new fan. As my husband removed the old fan something seemed wrong when the wires that come down the rod that connects to the fan came completely out. BIG PROBLEM. The ceiling is too tall for us to reach so the search for a handyman began. After calling a few others with no return calls I finally found Todd Yeates. He came to our home on Sunday (yes a Sunday! Amazing!) and started working in this disaster of a fan replacement right away. Something that generally is straightforward wasn't so. The ceiling plate started crumbling, the mounting had to be reconfigured but Todd took care of all of it with confidence. He made sure everything was secured properly and safe to use. The job took longer then he had anticipated and never once did he complain or make us feel that he was annoyed. If you want a handyman that really cares about doing the job right, is very knowledgable and is truly sincere then look no further because Todd is your guy for the job. He has earned our business and we will be using him again for future projects.

Todd, is very polite and responsive, very thorough, concise and professional. He fixed many things in my townhouse and was very affordable. I would highly recommend him and his work is great.

Todd arrived when he said he would. He explained what he was going to be doing before he began. After removing the old shutters he cleaned the siding and caulked the old mounting holes. Work was completed within the expected time period. We were very happy with his work and plan to use him again on a future project.

Came out few days before to look at it and fixed it quickly within a few days. Wanted to do some electrical work but he was honest to recommend that work should be done through licensed electricians.

Time (and the next big rain) will tell if he was able to fully address the leak (he repair the flashing and re-caulked in multiple areas), but he has guaranteed returning if necessary to make adjustments to assure a complete fix. We routinely have jobs around the house where we could use a quality, dependable handyman and would not hesitate to call upon Todd again.

Todd confirmed the appointment, arrived on time and worked in a professional manner. Todd was very attentive to details. He carefully measured with precision to make sure the items were level and centered. He worked around our uneven wall to make sure the unit sat properly and had no visible gaps on the backside. He made sure the heavy mirror was securely fastened to the wall by using his own anchors that were superior to the ones included with the mirror. He took pride in his work and did a beautiful job. We anticipate using him for future jobs.

Went very well. Not only did he fix the spots we knew about, but he also checked everything out on the roof while he was up there and found another that needed preventive work.

Mr. Yeates is a very trustworthy person. He shows up on time and ready to work. He takes pride in the jobs that he completes and guarantees his work. Mr. Yeates started with my home by putting in wood floors, new screen doors, new windows and changing out restroom hardware for my new restaurant. Todd installed handicap hardware for the bathrooms and placing it in the right position as outlined in the handicap code book. He also installed all of the counters and trim work that makes the restaurant look complete. I would not have the restaurant opened without him!!! I cant say enough about his service and about him as a person.
