They were prompt. The estimate was reasonable.

I called A & J at the end of November, after lingering health issues preventing me from raking my leaves. I chose A & J because of the company's previous positive reviews. I called on a Sunday, planning to leave a message , and was delighted that Victor not only answered, but agreed to come right out for an estimate. When he arrived, he suggested some perennial clean up in addition to the leaf removal and we agreed upon a price. The first real snow was predicted by the following weekend, but I stopped seeking other estimates because he assured me he would do the work by Friday. I called Victor Tuesday and Wednesday and both times he said he would be do it by Friday. On Friday morning I was nearly a wreck, but was relieved when he answered the phone and said he was on his way to come do the work. When I came home, I was furious to see it hadn't been done. When Saturday (and the promised snowfall) arrived, I called Victor, who told me "he had another job" and would try to do it another time. Maybe this business does great work. I wouldn't know. I only know that my work was promised three times, then ignored and bumped, even though I stressed from day one that I absolutely had to have it done that week. My leaves were untouched. The only thing blown off during this promised job commitment was me.

On a hot August day, I discovered A&J Green Cut Landscaping company. I literally waved them down when they were passing my house in Naperville in their truck. Victor and his team were very thorough in sawing down the two overgrown junipers in my front lawn. They did an excellent job. One of the tree trunks required the entire team of three men to remove it. They patiently sawed away at it until the job was done to my satisfaction.
