It was very easy working with Lukasz. His bid was reasonably priced and he was very professional. He and his workers arrived pretty much when expected and actually finished the job early. The floors look very good, as do the baseboards. I've already recommended him to a friend who is looking to get some floors refinished. Would work with him again.

Lukasz is very responsive and on top of everything. He knows what he is doing. He priced for us several types of wood, and his price was far better than anyone else, we don't usually go for the cheapest, but since he really knew his stuff we went with him. The wood arrived as estimated and the demo got underway. There were some walls that were damaged in the process, I guess that is to be expected with this type of work. The floors, trim and stairs were redone in wood. Everything looks beautiful, it makes such a big difference. I was glad to see Lukasz replaced the toe kick and quarter round to match the cabinets in the kitchen and family room, he also replaced the vent covers in wood, stained to match the floor. I would recommend him to others because of his knowledge and price!

I called Lukasz after I realized I was in over my head with a DIY project. I closed on a condo and had less than 5 weeks to knock down two walls, move all the electrical, level the concrete subfloor, install the hardwood, and paint the place. Needless to say, after one day of not so awesome floor leveling with me and a friend, I conceded and started calling around. Lukasz answered the phone right away and came to provide an estimate the next day. Originally, I wanted him to just level the floor, and he quoted $900. That is a really good price considering leveling compound costs anywhere from $20-30 a bag and we needed a lot of leveling. He offered to do the floor installation for another $1,500 (I provided the padding and floor so this was just the installation). Based on all that was going on, I said yes. I was moving into the condo with all my stuff and animals in a week, and he moved jobs around to be able to finish for me ahead of time. Once he was about done with the floors, he offered to do the baseboards, and again he offered me a price I couldn't refuse. Lukasz and his team were very quick and professional and reasonably priced.

My fiance and I purchased our first home together. Not quite a fixer upper, but it needed to be updated. Prior to moving in we wanted to place hand scraped hardwood floors in most of our first floor, excluding the kitchen and family room. Prior to the hardwood floor install we removed carpet and tile in the areas where we wanted the hardwood installed. We looked on Angie's List and found Lukasz. We called for an estimate and Lukasz came to provide an estimate the same day we called. He seemed knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. He even gave us a name of a flooring company to purchase our flooring material from, which had good prices and a huge selection. Throughout the process Lukasz was available to answer our questions and was accessible by text/email/phone. He completed the entire project in 2 days.

There was serious staining under old carpet in the hallway. We originally wanted light colored flooring but Lukasz suggested an ebony stain since the staining under the carpet would not come up. We went with his suggestion and we love the floors... But there were a couple of issues. CONS : he would NOT take his garbage. He left it in the middle of our front lawn and told us it was our garbage, not his since he was providing a service for us. When my husband asked him to help with it Lukasz said he would separate it into two smaller bags. That did not happen. Lukasz decided to just shove it in the garbage can leaving it about a foot open. He also left a hazardous bottle in our yard as well. DUSTLESS??? I have been cleaning dust off of the walls for days! I would not recommend elderly using them because the cleaning is horrid... Not to mention the hardened epoxy or whatever that is that I have been trying to get off of my bathroom sink. He didnt put down the thresholds, so now we have to buy some and stain them to match the floors ourselves or we can wait for whenever hes in our area again and pay an additional price. Some repairs they made couldve been better. Some rough spots in the floors. He never provided a written estimate even upon our request, so we learned the hard way! We also felt very out of place when Lukasz started speaking to one of the other guys in polish in front of us about pricing. We felt this was very unprofessional.

Lukas delivered on his promise to do an excellent job, on schedule, and on agreed price. He is very knowledgeable on flooring and his advise helped us to make a better decision on the type of finish and stair spindles. He was also very flexible on scheduling his tasks in better coordination with other contractors. I was very satisfied with his work and hand him refinish my 2nd house.

Excellent quality work. Floors are perfect, and the banister looks great. Lukasz is very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. He is an incredibly hard worker---on the last day he was he was here, he and his helper stayed until almost 9 PM in order to get the job done. He was very careful with all of the furniture and more delicate items that required moving. He sealed other rooms and cabinets with plastic. There still was a fair amount of dust generated by the sanding process, but I believe this cannot be helped.I believe his price to be very fair, especially since he is so knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reliable.

After my initial call to the company, the owner came to my home to provide me with a free estimate. His quote matched other estimates I had received and he was able to complete the work the day after the estimate, so I hired him. He completed the work with one other associate. My floors look great! They were prompt, efficient, and professional. I would use this company again.

Lukasz came out to quote the job the same day that I called after the installer I hired through a big box store refused to complete the install because the subfloor was not "absolutely level". Lukasz provided the quote on site and was able to start the job in two days. He and his team were very friendly and showed up on time. The job ended up costing a little more than quoted because the previous installer actually glued the existing hardwood to the subfloor so additional labor was required to remove and level. The new laminate looks great!

Lukasz was confident he could add new hardwood floors to a carpeted family area to our existing hardwood floors. I had four other quotes and 2 said they couldn't match it and another never returned our call after giving us a quote. He always showed up at the time he said and he did additional things that were not included at no cost to us. He took care of our home. The work took about 4 days and he even helped put our furniture back. Customer service is high on his list, he is a man of his word. I highly recommend him. My floors look beautiful !

Lukasz is a highly professional and competent service provider. He was extremely prompt in returning our messages, very punctual during our dealings with him and, not surprisingly, did a fabulous job refinishing our beat up hardwood floor. He gave us (and explained in detail) our options, listened to our comments and concerns and did not try to upsell to us. As for the actual work itself, he and his colleague carefully moved all of our furniture (not an easy task since we have multi-level floors), taped up everything that could gather dust, kept us informed of the job status and did a great job applying water-based polyurethane finish. I highly recommend Lukasz to anyone for any hardwood work - installation, repair, etc.

Lukasz stood out from the others because 1) he provided advice and options without being pushy 2) provided the perfect solution for a staircase that no one else had mentioned 3) actually lifted the rug to look at the subfloor (which we discovered had quite an issue that the others didn't even think of) 4) understood my time limitations 5) patiently answered my 1000 questions and 6) provided a written estimate within a day! He has not yet done the work because I need to investigate the subfloor issue further, but he will be the one to do the work when I'm ready. Even during this delay, he investigated material and color options for me and dropped off samples. I'm sure I'll have only more positive things to say once we do the work! UPDATE: Of course I hired Lukasz, and after the asbestos remediation by a licensed firm, which included removal of the entire subfloor, had Lukasz build me a new subfloor, install new hardwood flooring, and convert my carpeted stairs to wood. He was so flexible and accommodating in schedule, even though he had other clients, he did his best to try to get my job going as I had to get out of my previous place and was behind schedule due to the asbestos debacle. He was infinitely patient in answering my questions and describing options, first when I went back and forth on wood type, and then with stain color. He provided so many samples of wood, and then gave me big swaths of stain samples to consider, along with insight on how they would age, what the current trends were, etc. He also described options for my stairs, which others had not. Looking back, others clearly did stairs their way only and not knowing any better I may have thought that was the only way. For example cheap prefab coverings over existing stairs, or using floating planks .... Lukasz offered options but wisely recommended solid wood, and also had solid wood planks available specifically for stairs (whereas another company was going to lay pieces of wood atop each stair). Just a super nice, honest person who clearly cares about the work he does, and is concerned about his customers' satisfaction. Nothing rattled him, despite issues popping up (not in his control). And the floor and stairs are beautiful!!! It's a huge expense, and once you make it you are stuck with it for a long time to come, so Lukasz going above and beyond to make sure I got the right wood, stain and finish that I would love is priceless. A++++!!

Lukasz was fantastic. He saved me from at least a 2 week delay on my kitchen project when another vendor (also highly rated on this site) was slow to respond. My kitchen construction simply couldn't move forward until some of the floor repairs were done first, and Lukasz got in right in, gave me the exact plan and dates for the work, showed up when he said he would, and did a great job. He matched the color to the rest of the floor perfectly, and it was his idea to put the third and final coat on the entire floor so we could keep a consistent look to the main floor without having to sand and restain everything. Could not recommend him more strongly.

Lukasz was a pleasure to work with. It started with the estimate when he arrived on time and showed a great attention to detail when measuring and asking about what I wanted done. He then turned around the estimate the very next day. Once I received the estimate, I was a bit concerned because it seemed too low! But based on the good reviews here and based on the good impression I got from Lukasz during the estimate, I decided to go with them. Once the project started his communication was great. He was always easy to get a hold of and very good at keeping me updated on the status of the work (even after the work was done and he had been paid in full he was still quick to return my call when I had a couple questions). During the work I primarily interacted with Lukasz and his brother Martin. Both were super polite and courteous and easy to get along with. We had a pretty tight timeline to complete the work and they really busted their a**** to get the job done quickly. And of course the most important part is that the floors came out looking great. I have already had multiple comments from family and other contractors that "these floors look better than my wood floors."

It went great. Lukasz showed up on time for all appointments, beginning with his estimate. When calculating his estimate, he discussed potential problems with us as he saw them, offered separate estimates for flush-mounted a/c vents ($60 apiece) and for replacing about thirty severely stained floorboards in one room -- probably from pets. We had him do that work, and it looks fabulous now -- he was careful to use boards that looked like the original (quarter-sawn) boards, not the cheaper modern boards. And, he was quick. I chose him on Wednesday, his crew was there on Friday, they worked all weekend and finished on Wednesday.

I contracted Lukasz Hardwood Flooring to install approx. 2400sqf of parquet flooring in my new house. Lukasz and his team leveled the existing subflooring with quarter inch plywood and installed beautiful Brazilian cherry parquet flooring on the main and half of the second floors. Lukasz's price is very fair, specifically considering the high quality of his work. I got competing bids from other companies, but decided on Lukasz Hardwood Flooring because of their diverse prior experience with installing different types of hardwood, including parquet flooring that is extremely difficult and time consuming to install due to the small size of planks. He and his team were also extremely pleasant to work with. They were always on time and working long hours to meet my schedule without sacrificing quality. Fantastic team! Highly recommend this company- they are a team of expert professionals who can get the job done well.

I contacted Lukasz Hardwood Flooring after reading reviews on Angie's List. Lukasz was quick to respond to my request for a quote and came to my house at the agreed-to time. He e-mailed the quote within a day and was quick to respond to all requests and questions I had before I agreed on the work. Lukasz showed up on the day we agreed and worked quickly and kept me up-to-date on any small little problems and the status of the work. Lukasz is very friendly, he and his team do very good work, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for hardwood flooring needs.

Lukasz Flooring exceeded all of our expectations on quality, workmanship, followthrough and customer service. Lukasz consistently returned our phone calls quickly and always kept his word to my wife and I. Lukasz Flooring did a fantastic job completing hardwood flooring throughout our home. Here is an example of the quality given from Lukasz Flooring. Lukasz designed and installed hardwood flooring on our staircase . He felt our staircase was old and needed to be re-enforced. Lukasz removed the dry-wall underneath the staircase from our closet and re-enforced the staircase with several screws from top to bottom. The end result is we have a staircase that is stronger and does not squeak. How many installers would take the time to add this critical step. Quality and customer service does not get any better. My wife and I appreciate Lukasz and Lukasz Flooring. Bottom line-We will recommend them too all.

I had to call and confirm on Monday before he was to come over on Thursday, even though he said that he would call and confirm. Lukasz said he will be there on Thursday but he called Tuesday that he wants to come over on Friday. I insisted he would start the job on Thursday as planned, so we would have our floors done by the weekend. A worker for Lukasz flooring arrived Thursday morning and Lukasz came over around 12:00 for about ten minutes to introduce himself. I was expecting Lukasz to be doing the work as I was led to believe. The worker did a nice job, took several cigarette breaks. On Friday he was suppose to come back at 3:00 to put the final coat on and didn't arrive until 5:00. He was putting the final coat on with the lights on and finished after 7:00 pm. It is much harder to put the finishing coat without daylight and our floors do have a couple of areas with "bubbles" in them, as well as hair from the brush. I feel that the final coat should (if possible) be applied during daylight to avoid any imperfections. I requested a receipt (few times) since we paid cash for services, and I am still waiting for it.

He came and gave me an estimate. After I told him I wanted him to do the work, he provided me a date and time to start. He fulfilled every promise he made and my floors are fantastic. We absolutely love them. He is coming back to do two more rooms and my stairs.

We ask Lukasz and his team to install hardwood floor for our house. They did a great job with reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

Fabulous! Lukasz is wonderful. He was on time and brought a team of men who went to twon. They peerformed miracles in just three days! The floor looks perfect and the new and old match so well you would never know it wasn't all the same age. I couldn't be happier.

Lukasz was prompt to respond and gave an good quote. He also came to the house and explained what he would do and seemed very cooperative and willing to meet our needs. We decided to go with another installer, but it was due to price which was slightly better.

It was a very pleasant experience working with Lukasz. I explained to him the urgency of getting the work done and he took some time off on a Sunday to take a look at the flooring and provided me with an estimate the following morning. After we agreed on the price, he completed the work as per the schedule. I am happy with the overall outcome and my floors look great!! I would definitely recommend him.
