Description of Work: Did a complete roof for us 2 years ago. All went well. Wanted then to come back out to discuss insulation and gutter replacement. They cancelled our appt.. Then never returned our calls to reschedule. Maybe they've just gotten too busy.

Description of Work: Swisten came out and my request to look at drainage problems. 2 years ago they installed new gutters which worked well and I wanted their advice on how to stop water from pooling around my foundation. They recommended a French drain and since they did not do French drains I used another Angie's List provider (to date the french drains work well).

Description of Work: Dane came and helped me diagnose a problem with the roof in an addition to the house. He was the first person I have had that did not shake his head at the cracking interior ceiling and say something like 'well this part isn't anything I know anything about' which I have heard about 4 times before now. He cited the bad insulation inside the unfinished attic space (which cause ice dams) and said with some confidence that the ice dam problem should be alleviated as well as the cracking ceiling since there wont be the huge difference in temperature now. They did the work, it took longer than expected but the bid was firm. I was very pleased by their responsiveness and helpfulness.

Description of Work: Contacted company for an estimate on roof repair. Had a raccoon create two holes in the facia and edge of roof to get into the attic were they did some damage to the rafters. Received two estimates, one for spot repair and one for a whole roof tear off. After the estimated left I had the feeling that there would be additional charges after they started. In the end I went with another company that seems more confident in what was needed and took more time to figure out what I was looking for.

Description of Work: All of my downspouts needed replacing due to age (25years) wear & tear. Chris was right on time to survey my project. The color match was spot on match with the gutters. The crew installed as agreed to in the work order and did a great job from start to finish. All old material was removed by Swistun. Description of Work: They replaced the gutter and gutter guard over the front windows and patched a hole in the roof caused by the fallen parkway tree. With Swistun you always get a contract proposal with an estimate and proof of insurance. The workers are diligent and prompt. They even sweep up afterwards. I am always happy with their work and keep them on file as a favorite. The estimate was right in line with the final bill. I have recommended them to my friends.
