We called the day of the 5th largest snow in Chicago's history and Swistun came out that same day to shovel our roof. Although the price might seem high, it was well worth it! We have had ice dams in the past and they have cost thousands of dollars in damages.

Grey's crew was fantastic. The work quickly and were efficient. Explained up-front additional cost to shovel driveway. But it was worth it! Claudia was an excellent service rep.

I had water leaking into a dining room from ice dams on the roof and I was out of town on business. I called three different outfits I found on Angie's and Swistun was the first to answer the phone. Initially they didn't think they could get to the job until the following day. But, after agreeing to have them do the work for the following day, they called back about an hour later and were able to get a crew to my house within about two hours of my initial call. Very prompt and very appreciated considering the potential water damage I was faced with. Swistun is not cheap - I took a deep breath when I saw the final bill. To be fair though, they were completely up front about the pricing when I called looking for help so the final bill was not a complete surprise. They charged $180 for the first 30 minutes and $3/minute after that. My entire job was about 1 1/2 hours. Even at the price it was money well spent to prevent damage I would have spent even more to have repaired had the leakage continued. Overall - good job.

Everything was great, they came when they said, best customer service i've seen. When the owner came out he explained everything that had to do.

We had an ice dam that was causing seepage into the attic. We found Swistun on Angie's List. We were offered same day service for an upcharge. We took that option and they showed up quickly. Two service people climbed up on our roof and cleared the ice and snow. They did an outstanding job that solved the issue. The best part was that the charge was $189 for the first 30 minutes and 2.25 a minute after that. The crew moved quickly but still safely to complete the job correctly in as short a time as possible. They did't drag out to increase the charge. They then gave us advice on preventing future issues. the crew from Swistun were great and went a long way in establishing creditability for their company.

Swistun is the "gold standard". Oustanding quality work and remarkably good service. Price is fair based on services performed. Only reference I would use for gutter or roofing work.

The team of two did a thorough cleaning timely cleaning and an additional favor.

Claudia was very helpful in scheduling our quote and the actual service. The owner, Casey, came out to provide the quote and they did the work a few weeks later. He came back to inspect the job as well which was a nice touch. We're happy with the installation, but won't know how well this works for us until winter really kicks in to high gear!

We have a very high, slate roof so it requires a little more attention. They not only checked the outside but also inside. The rep was very courteous and professional.

We've been working with Swistun for a number of years, both on our old house and now with the one we moved into a few months ago. They are always highly professional and great to deal with. Casey came out to the new house late in summer to look at the rotted windows, etc. He did a very thorough job looking over the house, and the estimate was sent quickly. Casey promised he would get to us ASAP, but he was backed up with lots of work and that it probably be three months before he got to us (which is exactly what occurred). The work took a total of five days. Different crews came for the roofing, window replacement, and siding work. All the guys were prompt, they cleaned up after their work each day, and were very easy to deal with. I was able to look at the new weatherproofing and flashing work as it was being completed before the new siding went on. It was clear that the work was highly professional and all was tightly sealed. No chance these new windows will rot from leaking rain. We still need to do some additional roof work next spring. We will be using Swistun for that work as well.

Our main points of contact were the project manager Dane and customer service rep Claudia. Dane came out promptly after we called and assessed our hail damage. He worked closely with our insurance claims adjuster to ensure that the extent of the damage was clearly understood and accounted for. Our siding was no longer in production, so Dane had to work with State Farm to identify replacement siding that matched. Once the work was agreed, Claudia gave us timely and accurate updates on scheduling. The work was completed quickly and with high quality. The workers were very conscientious about keeping things neat and tidy after they completed the work each day. We've never been disappointed with Swistun's work.

The work was done quickly and efficiently. The work crew was friendly and cleaned up thoroughly after each day of work. The company representative, Dane, was exceptional. He responded promptly to any questions or issues I had and did everything in his power to make me happy. The office contact, Claudia was wonderful as well, making sure I got everything I asked for as quickly as possible. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

Perfect receptionist, easy to make an appointment for estimate. The company was recommended by a neighbor, plus Swistun had excellent reviews. Dane measured my roof's pitch while on the roof and explained things in detail. "Great service!"

Casey said the roof was good. He found a couple of cracked that he made a second trip out to seal for us. We think they are great! They hung our gutters, gutter guards, and installed new soffits for us. Very professional

The owner called me, and just doesn't care to accommodate a prior customer.

Everyone from office, staff, installers were extremely professional. Casey the owner measured and designed the plan. He came to inspect the finished job and make sure we were satisfied. We are!

Careful inspection to determine best solution at time of estimate. Job completed in one day as scheduled, clean up done, work appears great. Claudia provides terrific customer service (phone) and Dale available and expert with recommendations.

It is great to find a man like Casey Swistun who knows slate roof and will be reasonable identifying change orders explaining giving options. I would recommend ongoing evaluation of our roof by Swistun. He knows his stuff and very responsive and responsible.

Great as usual--estimating, work, follow-up. Always staying in touch with me about what and when they would perform the work. No surprises.

Dave gave written estimate on removing fascia and replacing with new gutters. Later doing maintenance on roof. All was done on time by crew and customer service was great.

They don't come any better - thorough, neat, super quality. Claudia in the office provides outstanding support!
