I thought they were great. I had a response shortly after I sent my first email Chris came out within two days and I had a bid for the job the next day. Once I scheduled th work they were out within a week and a half and so far things look great. I will call them again if I need this type of work done.

As soon as the weather permitted, Swistun came out and performed all work quickly. They cleaned up everything and removed all of the old gutters and downspouts. A few minor adjustments had to be made and they came out immediately to correct them. Chris was great to work with. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need. In fact, he talked me out of some additional work, saying that I did not really need it. The gutters and downspouts are much better than they were before. Chris clearly knows his business and does a great job.

I had a total of four contractors come out and look at the job. None except Swistun were able to come up with a solution to our ice buildup problem. They had the most experience and knew exactly how to fix the problem. They were always on time, very very friendly, patient and really knowledgeable. They worked very cleanly and made sure to fully remove any debris from the yard before they were finished with the job. Also, they are very easy to contact and promptly return all phone calls. We haven't had a problem with the gutter since and we will definitely use Swistun in the future. Our building was very impressed with the quality of work - This company definitely gets an A+!

I had a very good experience with Swistun. I had called many roofing companies and found only 2 that would even come out to give me an estimate, since this was just a leak, and not a roof replacement. Chris Ryba was on time for the estimate and the Swistun worker was also at my house to do the repairs when Chris said he would be (on a Saturday since I wanted to be home when the repairs were done). Chris explained, and wrote in the estimate, exactly what repairs would be done. He showed me the GAF Weather Watch material that would be installed to prevent leaks. He was very up front about the cost of the new metal chimney, explaining that since they were not a furnace installation they would not be able to get a discount on the metal chimney. The job was done within 2 weeks and Chris came out again to inspect the work both on the roof and inside the attic. I am very satisfied with the work and the pleasant experience with Swistun.

Chris came to our house on time. He was very polite and after confirming that he understood the problem (a leaking skylight) he went right to work first examining form the inside and then heading up on to the roof. He removed the old glazing from our skylight and re-caulked it free-of-charge. He also explained what would be involved if a new skylight needed to be installed.

Chris was prompt in responding to our call for an estimate. He also told us how to fix it on our own, but was willing to do the work. He responded immediately to follow-up questions and even checked in while we were weighing our options. After deciding to work with them, he committed to scheduling the work within 2 weeks, which he did, and they let us know when they would complete the job. After the work was complete, Chris returned to inspect the job. The work was professional, debris was removed and they did not mail the bill until we said we were satisfied with the work. Great customer service.

My wife and I can not express how pleased we are with the work done by this firm on our home. It is good to know that being a craftsman and taking pride in one's work is not a totally lost art. I knew from the day they came to do the estimate for the work we needed, that they were different from the rest. They did not simply want to replace our roof as many others were willing to do, they wanted to solve the problem that was causing it to leak. Of the ten contractors that bid the job they were one of two that actually went up on the roof to inspect it. They were the only contractor to go up in our attic to look at the situation from the inside. I knew from watching them inspect and measure the situation to make their estimate their firm was the one for the job. The workers were professional in every way, paying attention to detail as a true craftsman would and cleaning up after the job was done.

He looked at the gutters and told me I needed a new roof. He said he wanted to come over and explain everything to me. I told him that I think I'm fine and I'm not ready to make a decision on a whole roof.

I'm afraid that working with the Swistun people has probably spoiled us for any other company. They paid attention to what we wanted and showed up promptly every day until the job was done. Chris Ryba, our project supervisor, was unfailingly courteous and so knowledgeable about every aspect of the work to be done. We had a lot! He provided samples of the materials they were going to use and explained every aspect of the job. Chris coordinated the work crews so that each team wasted no time. Each portion of the job followed the other smoothly. The workers were great; no radios playing, no excess time spent in conversation. They cleaned up after themselves and were professional. We haven't received our final invoice yet because Chris told us they didn't use as much material as anticipated, and the price would be lower than the quote. When do you ever have that happen? Swistun is a great company, and Chris Ryba is the best! We would use them again and recommend them highly.

He took his time making sure that everything was checked thoroughly. The result was very nice, and done in a professional way. My overall experience was very pleasant with this company. From the very first phone call, I was extremely impressed with this company's professionalism. The sales representative, Chris, who came to our home was highly professional and was very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Even though this was a small job, there was great care and attention given to the explanation of how the work would be performed. The work was timely and well done. A small job that most would not take on, they were very helpful. I just had to wait, until they were doing another job in the area and they stopped by and took care of it for me.

Chris Ryba was very professional and he worked within our schedule. Chris analyzed the slope of the land around my house and made recommendations for locations of downspouts and for the slope of the gutters so that water would be channeled in the appropriate directions. With the original gutters, we had a problem with too much water being channeled in one place resulting in overflowing gutters. I could tell that Chris was really designing the job for me, and not just slapping some gutters on the house any old way. The installers finished the job in one day. Chris was there to ensure that they did the job right. He did not collect payment that day because he wanted to make sure the gutters worked properly first. A few days later we had a very heavy rainstorm. I went out and saw that the gutters were channeling water properly. Chris came back a week later to inspect the job and to ensure that I was happy with the work. Only then did he present the bill.

I was pleased by this company from the initial consultation. Their representative arrived on time, listened to me describe the problems I had with the old gutters, performed an examination and diagnosed the problem. The quote for replacing the gutters was less than half of what another company wanted, and turned out to be only $39.00 short of the cost of the actual job. Everyone I dealt with at Swistun was polite and were willing to adapt to my requests. The whole experience went smoothly, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

I showed him what needed to be done on both houses and he went back to his truck and gave me estimates on the spot. The workmen were on time everyday. Chris was at the site everyday to make sure the work was being done correctly. The workmen were very good. No loud music, no screaming at each other. They worked very hard under very hot conditions. They cleaned up everyday before they left. The work is excellent. I would have no problem recommending them. Also, Martin who answers the phone and makes the appointments is extremely courteous. This is a good company based on customer service. In a world that's becoming ruder everyday, this company stands out as to how companies should be run.
